Prime Location at North Beach, don't settle for block walk to beach.
Merci de votre intérêt pour le Sand Trap Beach House. Le piège à sable est situé dans la zone privilégiée de North Beach, dans la région de Monroe Park. Il est à quelques pas de la plage. Pas d'escaliers ou de pentes pour se rendre à la plage. Le piège à sable a quatre chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes ainsi qu'une douche extérieure fermée supplémentaire. Toutes les chambres sont situées au deuxième étage. La chambre principale a un lit queen et un lit double, elle dispose d'une terrasse au 2ème étage qui surplombe le lac et la plage. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen, la troisième chambre a un lit double et la quatrième chambre a deux lits jumeaux. La salle familiale dispose d'une télévision et d'un lecteur DVD; il y a une salle à manger hors de la cuisine. La cuisine a toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin. Lorsque vous entrez pour la première fois dans la maison, il y a une petite salle de soleil, qui est une belle pièce pour s'asseoir à la table pour jouer aux cartes, etc. L'avant de la maison dispose d'un patio avec deux tables et de nombreuses chaises pour manger en plein air.
Dès l'été de la saison 2017: Nous avons rénové le bac à sable. Il vient de s'achever pour la saison de location été 2017. Nous avons vidé la cuisine et les deux salles de bain. Nous avons converti l'un des demi-bains en salle de bain complète. À partir de la saison de location 2017, il y a une nouvelle cuisine et deux nouvelles salles de bain complètes et de nouvelles fenêtres dans 90% de la maison.
Autres commodités: Autres commodités: wifi gratuit, A / C (air central), 2 téléviseurs, magnétoscope, 2 lecteurs DVD, un dans la chambre principale et un dans la salle familiale. Barbecue au gaz, douche de porte fermée, nouvelle laveuse / sécheuse. Cuisine: four / cuisinière, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, poubelle, cafetière, mixeur, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner. Les vélos sont gardés à l'arrière de la maison pour que vous puissiez les utiliser mais nous ne pouvons pas garantir leur état de semaine en semaine. This was our first year renting a house on North beach and we loved it! The house was a perfect location to go to the beach and also walkable to town. Could see sunsets from the master bedroom balcony and easily walk to the snack stand around the corner for a quick ice cream cone. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our family of 8. Look forward to coming back next year!!

We absolutely loved the location of this property. Makes beach days so much easier! This is an older home with some updates completed. The house is clean, well stocked, we loved having extra fridge for drinks and Weber grill which made cooking easier.

This is a sweet little cottage to make memories and our group did just that! The house is comfortable and is in great location from North Beach. The neighbors are lovely folks with a beautiful Monarch sanctuary.
Our biggest challenge was the parking. What is not clearly stated on the VRBO listing is that there is no free parking onsite. South Haven does not have an attendant to purchase permits onsite at the beach. Rather an electronic kiosk at the beach or you have to use a parking Ap to pay by day or by week on any beach designated area which includes the retaining wall in Kalamazoo St. it is best to read the South Haven City site:southhavenmi.gov checkout parks and recreation/beach parking sticker

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very functional. There was some construction nearby but nothing the host could control. We did not know how to use the Apple TV in the living room so our tv situation wasn’t as good as we expected. Thank you for the great stay!

Great location although noisy construction going on all around during days of our stay and house smells strongly of natural gas when you walk in. Seems to get strong after water heater kicks in as we did not use heat while there . We kept windows open day and night gut due to this natural gas smell.

The property was ok … all the bedrooms are upstairs , and stairs were narrow and steep .so getting out luggage up and down took some effort …. The kitchen was nice , had about anything you needed … nice appliances …
The evening before we left, there was no hot water , that was disappointing .
We love the area , so we’ll come back here next year, but probably won’t rent the SandTrap again …

There were 8 ladies all 76 years old the house was very convenient for all of us the stairs to upper part were not bad one lady slept on couch down stairs because she is with a walker but said the couch was very comfy. The only one thing the VCR was not plugged in and we were not sure what to do because there were no outlets for it but other than that the house was nice.

This property is a perfect location to be on the beach in less than 3 minutes! The house is older and has lots of diy work in it, as well as inconvenient electrical outlets (gals with lots of hair tools and Apple products😉) but it is a wonderful location so all those issues were secondary. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We had a bit of a gas smell scare but it turned out to probably be a gas grill nearby. Kari, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. The one thing that was inconvenient was the requirement to have towels washed, dried, and put away before checking out at 10:00 AM. Same for the dishwasher plus we had to wash off the outdoor tables and water the flowers each night. Places we have rented in other beach communities have never asked the put away job to be done. I have washed towels and dishes during longer stays but the most required before leaving was wash them and then the housekeepers would dry and put away. We have never had to put a final load away…just start it before leaving. We didn’t think we could get everything done and out by 10:00 so we opted to forego showering and dried our faces and hands with paper towels in the morning. Those instructions seemed like work when we wanted to have a more relaxed three days away. All in all, we had a great stay and the location would bring us back again, but wanted to explain why we couldn’t give 5 stars.

We stayed for a week at the Sand Trap and could not have been happier with our experience. We’ve been vacationing in South Haven every summer for 6 years, and while we’ve never been disappointed with a home, this was our favorite spot.
The house was in great condition and the location cannot be beat. You are steps away from the beach, ice cream, and morning coffee/baked goods at Bunde’s bakery. If you want to escape the action at the beach their patio was the perfect place for a quiet lunch or dinner.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to visit South Haven.

Great location in South Haven less than a block from North Beach on the Promenade. Large patio area out front for our whole family of eight. Nice sunroom in the front with an extra fridge for beach refreshments. Comfortable living room and well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Fantastic Weber gas grill out back just off the kitchen. Bedrooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit tight, one on each floor. One minute walk to the beach, couple minutes to Bunde's, and 15-minute walk to Phoenix St. made the location perfect. Parking ended up working out fine as well with a couple spots out front on Kalamazoo. We had a wonderful week!

We had the best and easiest vacation imaginable steps from the beach meant everyone could do what they wanted when they wanted. No waiting for everyone to get up and eat and then load up the car and search for parking.

Sandtrap Traps More than Sand!
Love South Haven and the Sandtrap is a terrific traditional beach house I remember from my youth yet with todays updates. Lots of room, great kitchen and shaded patio just outside the East porch, a nice refuge from the afternoon sun after heating up at the beach just a short walk away. We will be back again!

Amazing Experience
My husband, our two year toddler, my best friend, her husband, and their twin girls all just returned from a long weekend at The Sand Trap. What an experience! Everything about the cottage was clean, quaint, and beyond our expectations! With little ones, we had no plans, other than to spend time at the beach, visit local parks & playgrounds, and take afternoon naps. The Sandtrap was the perfect place to do just that! The proximity to the beach playground was ideal and my little guy loved riding his bike right along the paved beach path sidewalk. The house was just lovely! Thank you for sharing your home with us & allowing us to create so many wonderful memories there!
