Lovely 24 heures de la communauté fermée Beach House sur le célèbre sable chaud et doux de Surfside Beach. La plage est à quelques minutes, lorsque vous et votre famille apportez votre voiturette de golf (incluse) au parking privé de la plage (en fait sur la plage) pour les résidents et les invités d'Oceanside Village. Ce décor de plage décoré avec 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, peut accueillir six personnes. Il y a une cuisine complète avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris un barbecue pour faire de bons repas. Les installations sont nombreuses, y compris une piscine pour adultes, une piscine pour enfants, une piscine intérieure et un parc aquatique ludique! Lorsque vous retournez à la plage, vous pouvez prendre une douche extérieure. Tous les mercredis pendant les mois d'été, il y a de la glace gratuite, le vendredi est un hot-dog grillé et des hamburgers avec des frites et un choix de boissons à la piscine. My family and I just returned from our stay at the playful pelican. The host thought of everything you could want or need during the stay and the personal touches were sweet. It was nice to be able to use the golf cart, the pools, basketball courts ect. The best part was being so close to the beach.There were bikes and beach things available if needed. The house was very clean and decorated so cute. We will definitely be back.

Proximity to beach was Ideal. Enjoyed evening meals in covered screened in porch with outdoor tv. Morning coffee on the two decks. Acesa to outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at this vacation rental house, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The property was exactly as listed, with the added bonus of two beach carts complete with sand toys and boogie boards, which were a huge hit with our family.
The house was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We did encounter a minor issue with the grill, but the owner was responsive and fixed it right away. Additionally, he was very accommodating when we requested that my mother-in-law join us for the last two days of our stay.
However, there was one aspect that detracted from our experience. The owner showed up at the property unannounced at least 4-5 times during our week-long stay to attend to various tasks around the house, such as changing a lightbulb, putting a screw in the porch, watering flowers, and bringing in the trash can. These visits were never prompted by us and seemed to be part of his personal to-do list. While we understand the importance of maintaining the property, we felt that these tasks could have been handled before or after our stay, rather than during. It was a bit uncomfortable having him randomly show up.
In summary, the house itself was wonderful and met all our needs, but the frequent, unannounced visits from the owner were a bit intrusive. With a bit more consideration for guest privacy, this rental would be absolutely perfect.

Such a great place to stay! They even greeted us with a cute sign and treats for our little Oakley! Very clean and decorated so cute! They have truly thought of anything and everything we may need while on vacation!

Janet and Kevin were warm, welcoming, and friendly hosts. They were very responsive when issues, which were minor, arose. We felt safe in the unit and enjoyed our stay!

The location in the park and proximity to the beach was great. We appreciated the use of the golf cart and the bikes. There were many extras in the kitchen and the decor is very cute. The bathroom could use some attention as it's kind of worn (as expected with a rental that sees a great deal of use). Kevin was readily available for any questions and making sure everything was ok. Overall, I would recommend this rental.

We had to leave because the place was so dirty and disfunctional. Our daughter was planning to come but couldn’t because there aren’t three bedrooms only 2 tiny ones. Old bad mattresses in the row double beds. Went and purchased our own swiffer wet jet because the floors were so disgusting. This is a single wide trailer not a cottage in any stretch of your imagination. Two couches ancient and smelly - cabinets a mess and dishwear silverware knives rusted and dirty. Just a disgusting place. We left early but were told by the owner too bad VRBO would protect him and he wouldn’t have to refund anything. When we couldn’t cook in the grill because of filth he acted like he had no idea. Someone did deliver a new grill day before we told him we had to leave and couldn’t live there in the dirt. Dining room table seats couldn’t hold someone over 90 lbs. no chairs at all. Worst place we have ever rented. Absolutely the worst. Smelled disgusting

Loved the location, house was small but neat and clean and worked for us just fine. Honestly, there is so much to do and see, we just got back to the house to sleep, than jump on the cart and head out for more adventures!!

I like the personalized note you gave to each of us and then dog treats for our dogs. I like the gate that allowed our kids and dogs to be outside. Great location. Great hosts. Thank you. I would go back.

This is a cozy and very beach themed little house! We would definitely stay here again and the community is very clean and safe and also the people there are friendly! We loved the fact that it wasn’t but a very short golf cart ride to the beach and a very nice restaurant with delicious food! Having the use of the golf cart was a big plus as well! The screened in porch was a comfortable place to set and we played some cards out there and no bugs to bother you! The only thing we would’ve wished was that the bedrooms were bigger and the kitchen was slightly bigger!

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Playful Pelican. There was plenty for each age group to do. The owner supplied beach chairs, bikes, sand toys and the golf cart which was a huge plus for us! We loved being able to bring our pup too. We could’ve used a little more space for food storage but that was no major issue, we just kept our food in bags on top of the fridge. All in all, we had a great week!

The Playful Pelican was perfect for us! The house had everything we needed and was super clean upon arrival. The owners were welcoming to our little Frenchie, which was very appreciated! We went to the beach every day, played pickle ball at the courts and took our dog on walks and let her play at the dog park. The golf cart was great! We love Oceanside and we will be back at the Playful Pelican!!

Easy to rent. All directions given clearly. One of the beds has wood all around it so it was not comfortable and hard to get in to. So other than the bruises, it was a good experience. Owner was friendly and accommodating. Close to handicap access to the beach.

The location is perfect - close to a beautiful beach and just a short drive from Murrells Inlet or Myrtle Beach. The golf cart was the perfect transportation to the private beach parking, the Conch Cafe, or the neighborhood pools and splash pad. The house itself was clean and just the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals instead of going out for every meal every day. The hosts were very responsive and considerate, fulfilling even a couple special requests we had. The house conveniently has some boogie boards and beach toys. The grocery store is a very short drive - just across the road from the community. The community itself was pretty quiet and everyone was respectful on the roads (cars and golf carts). Nightly fireworks generally stopped between 9 and 10pm. Even though it rained nearly every day, there was plenty to do within a short drive - from Wonderworks, to Ripley's Aquarium, etc. - and the weather cleared up every day for beach or pool time. I'd say you can rent this place and make your vacation as relaxing or go-go-go as you want.

Not Good
This property was not at all what I expected from the pictures. It was old and not well maintained. It is a single wide trailer with a screened in porch to make it a double wide. Door handle broke upon arrival, Toilet broke on 3rd night, shower broke the next night and was not fixed until we were leaving on Saturday. Garbage was left from previous weeks renters. Bikes were from the 1970's and were broken. We had to pay extra to use the fitness center. I will NOT be back to this property.

Very comfortable, clean two bedroom unit, location excellent w a short 3 minute golf cart ride to the beach. Owners very accommodating. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway.

We brought our dogs to the beach before the summer season kicked in. We all had a great time and loved the golf cart and location.

A little piece of paradise
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Playful Pelican. Janet and Kevin were wonderful hosts and their beach cottage was cozy and comfortable. Our little rescue Schnoodle loved to sun on the deck and play in the screened in porch. We loved the golf cart and our little fur baby really enjoyed the rides around the wonderful community. The Beach, dog park and gym all are in walking distance. Great places to eat and shop, you could not ask for a better location. Thank you Janet and Kevin for making our stay very memorable and we look forward to visiting again soon.

Wonderful location . . . close to the beach. Older mobile home with cute decor.
I won't go into details, but we had a very bad experience. Although, the owner did finally take action & resolve the issue.

Perfect Christmas Surprise
