Close to the AirPort. The best owner! She took me from the AirPort in the evening and second day she returned me back on the AirPort :) I must recommend this apartment.

Spacious, well equipped apartment. Located on a quiet street super close to bus stops to Santa Maria and Palmeira. Clean and comfortable.
Water pressure and temperature in the shower is a bit low.

It was a very good equipped appartment, super clean and comfortable. We stayed there to wait for the ferry as it is closer from there to the port than from Santa Maria. Area is safe and has some nice bars next to it.
Unfortunately the person giving us the keys only spoke portuguese and so there was a lot of confussion. We didnt received the info, that we should just leave the money for the room in the appartment and afterwards it was a bit complicated for both parties.

There were some small hiccups out of the control of the apartment owners. They did everything they could to solve it and even though they solved the problem in the end, they still gave me a FULL REFUND.
They really go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
WiFi didn't work because of a problem with the supplier. However, they brought me a custom, portable WiFi router to solve this and gave me a FULL REFUND because of the hassle.

Very clean and spacious appartment in a quiet part of the town, still close to the centre.
Good communication by telephone to arrange the keys in the middle of the night.

There were teabags, sugar etc. and a big tank of water in the appartment when we arrived.
The shuttle from the airport to the appartment wasn't there. We had to arrange a taxi for ourselves.
