Location, location, location! Right across from the city beach and not far to walk downtown.

Location, casual atmosphere. Enjoyed balcony.
Our room was clean, however a bit of attention is needed to coffee area, vending and pool towel area and bathroom located off pool area.

The log cabin room was everything we had hoped for felt like we were in the woods till we opened the curtains and realized we were sitting on the beach, loved it, thanks for the great time we had with your company.

The pool, hot tub and our view room with huge patio are all very nice. This is an overall well kept, well run family owned hotel business with an outstanding location for that area!
Not so much a didn't like but to be honest the owner needs to reign in the young staff, who were either visibly lazing around all over the property or fighting loudly with each other, at one point late at night, screaming at each other and banging around. I appreciate employing young kids, perhaps family friends, etc. but this crew let the guests in on, against their will, TOO MUCH personal garbage, it's uncomfortable and not particularly professional or amusing. Won't keep us away, just think the owner should know.

Location was the best. Nice big pool and a nice balcony.
Office availability. Our sliding glass door would not lock. Not much in the way of seating except for the 2 chairs by the table. TV so low hard to view while Laying in bed.

Nice view of the lake. Nice big patio.

Beautiful location. Room was clean and updated.
Walls were thin- you could easily hear others in their rooms when you were in the hall.

This hotel was across the street from the water, great view of the harbor entrance. We got a 2 for 1 breakfast voucher for a local restaurant which was great. Nice pool which was 84 degrees warm.
This is a lovely old umber town that is not crowded with tourists and yet has it all.... was just what we needed for a couple of day rest during our cross country drive.
This is not a complaint: I was a bit leery of booking this place because some of the reviews said it was dirty. I found it to be a beach hotel, meaning, of course it will be somewhat wind blown, and not quite as fluffy as a city hotel... And yes, it is getting to needing a bit of upgrade in the next few years, but for the price, location and comfort it was great... just think of being on the beach!

Great location. Good size room with a great view of Lake Michigan.
Parking was limited at times. There was trash laying on the porch for a couple of days. Old food had been left in the refrigerator.

Great view and location. Very friendly staff.
Rooms were a little small, but we weren't in it much so it was no big deal for us.

We have stayed at Snyder in the past, we love the location to the lake and easy walk to town. We prefer to face the lake and the manager accommodated us with no extra charge! Always a great stay!
Breakfast voucher was provided since it was unable to provide at Snyder due to covid.

Breakfast was great at restaurant

I had been to this hotel many times before. But this was the first time there when the hotel was under new ownership. It has lost its charm. It now feels like any other motel, just one with a good view.

I loved the location and closeness to the beach. It was great to be able to open the curtain and see lake Michigan. The hot tub and pool were perfect temp and outside. So heated pool which is awesome.
The room was smaller then any hotel room I've ever been in by far. The shower was tiny and the sprayer was mounted at a weird angle because of it so it sprays out sideways
