When I arrived the air conditioning was broken. They were able to fix it in less than half an hour. The bathroom smelled kind of bad.

Just near Alcazar and Cathedral. In the hotel, near reception you can find a room with free tea and coffee (working only when reception is open). Rooms are clean. Nice terrace on top of the building.

Despite being located at the traffic lights on a busy avenue, the hotel has plenty of quiet rooms at the back. Newly refurbished, all is elegant and clean. Two single beds strapped together made a comfy king size bed. The mattress has both a firm support and a soft welcome, ideal for us.

The use of chemical perfumes in hallways and corridors is truly sickening. Only the cheapest hotels in the world use such "air fresheners" to hide the smell of mouldy walls or drains. Please stop. The area is ideal to benefit from the coach station for day trips, taxi rank and airport shuttle. The river and Nao Victoria 500 are great sights. Otherwise the area is very unpleasant due to heavy car traffic in narrow streets with no decent sidewalks. Santa Cruz district is much more pleasant.

There was a discount on the parking lot fee.

There was no breakfast. They offered coffee but the breakfast room was locked when I tried to go in at 9:00 am.

Cleanliness of the room (floor covered with hair, bathroom walls, wc), dirty curtain, bed is positioned in a way that aircon blows into your face, mini fridge didnt work, the facilities opening hours were 8am to 8pm but in reality it was more like 10am to 6pm. Tiny bedroom. Could do with dnd signs.

The staff is really friendly and cheerful. The location is also great. There is free coffee and tea room when the reception is open.

One of the bed sheets had a stain. Other than that it was clean. When the reception is closed, guests enter the hotel via a pass code. And nobody cared about the noise that the main door created. If the hotel could find a solution to it, that would be a good idea. It makes a disturbing noise when you try to sleep. There is no water in the rooms. A small bottle of water would be really nice, especially for the first day you check in because people are generally tired and have no preparation.

Location really amazing, we were able to pass through during the day, and no need for public transportation.

Pressure of water to the 3rd floor is terrible. No pressure, cold water then super hot. Plus they didn't want to provide blankets (told us to alter the air conditioning instead) and getting extra towels was a problem as well
