Close enough to Lake Louise, Banff and Icefields Parkway. But we did lots of activities in Golden, like whitewater rafting, horseback riding and Golden Skybridge. So much fun.

What a wonderful place to stay in Kicking Horse. Everything about Dave and Margits home away from home was perfect. The location close enough but far enough away in magnificent surrounds. It was quiet and the beds were so very comfortable after a day out on the slopes. The double heated garage is such a bonus and a great place for all your ski gear, coats, boots and skis. We would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you

This place is perfect for 6 people, we were there with kids, grand parents and parents and it was ideal, great location, nice living space good hot tub, easy access and ski down to the the village. I would go back again.

We enjoyed the time very much, we had a warm welcome and everything we need. The house is well equipped, perfectly located and the communication with the hosts was uncomplicated and very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back one day.

We are three couples that meet once a year for some quality time together. This property for us was perfect. We loved that we each had our own floor basically and our own bathrooms, but the living/dining room was a decent size for all of us to spend time together. The furniture was in great shape and very comfortable. We all commented on how well stocked the kitchen was, everything we needed was there plus more. Likely one of the best stocked kitchens we have seen in a rental property. The entire unit was well maintained, very nicely decorated and very clean. Bonus were all the great deck spaces and the hot tub was clean, and wonderful to have to use. The double car garage was very nice and would be a big bonus in the winter season. Our hosts were very reactive when we made contact with them and we felt that they cared that we were happy and comfortable in the unit. Overall we were all very impressed and happy with the unit and would highly recommend it. We would all stay here again without hesitation.

Communication from Dave and Margit was clear and helpful as well as very quick! Personalized pin made Access nice and easy. They left a welcome gift and their home is amazing!
It’s a great setup for eating together, sitting out on the balcony or relaxing in the hot tub. We were worried as I forgot to bring a coffee grinder, but Dave and Margit have everything!
We all appreciated the cleanliness of the property. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The house is just as described. Very organized and has luxuries like the heated garage, boot driers and clean hot tub with heated pads to enter. Comfortable pillows and beds too! It was a lovely 10 night stay.

We drove from Oregon to spend Spring Break at Kicking Horse Resort. The property was perfect for our family and friends. The home owners communicated very well and the hot tub is amazing.

We loved the amount of natural light. Many windows showed great views. Two couples used two of the three bedrooms. There are very nice bedrooms with their own bathrooms on each of the three floors. Can walk very short distance and ski to Nordic or Alpine slopes. The Nordic center is excellent. Can ski back to townhouse. Townhouse was very clean with well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was great. Owners supplied complimentary bottle of wine. Couldn’t ask for more.

The absolute best ski vacation rental I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. Great house, very clean, and great location. A very easy 5 minute walk to the main gondola. Couldn’t beat it. Very impressed with the rental.

Exactly as described. True ski in ski out. Exceptionally clean. Lots of great touches you don’t often see in vrbos, like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, plastic wrap, ziplocs etc. All the stuff you forget to youneed until you need it. Such a nice surprise to arrive to a welcome basket and delicious bottle of wine. Would stay again for sure.

Margit & Dave were great hosts…I think the best I have had after about 10 VRBO stays. The house was beautiful. The kitchen was really well and very generously stocked. They thought of everything. They even had heated walking pads and steps into the saltwater hot tub. Heated garage was great to take off and put on boots. Communication was really easy with quick responses. Easy ski-in and ski-out.
Would definitely want to stay there again next time I go to Kicking Horse.

Booking, to check in, to check out, was quick, easy, and seamless. We got a couple messages from the owners on how to check in as well as some other information. We were not left wondering what to do. The 2 car garage was clean and a great bonus for us. The bedrooms on each level were nice & separated. The kitchen was well stocked and didn’t seem to need anything. They even had things available in case we forgot certain toiletries and even some pantry items like spices, sugar, tea, and coffee. We enjoyed the private hot tub as well. Our stay was really great. Our family would rent this property again.

Our group had a great time. Property was close to the base of kicking horse and hot tub was great to relax in after a day of biking. Golf course is close and had some great mid week specials. Property was well stocked with everything needed for our stay. Would love to visit again in the winter time.

Beautiful Townhouse
My husband and I spent a week here with our son and daughter-in-law. We had a wonderful vacation.
The townhouse is beautiful - nicely furnished, very clean and well stocked. The views out every window and off of every deck are amazing. With a bedroom and bathroom on each of the 3 levels, there was plenty of space & privacy. The bottle of wine, the robes & slippers and the availability of the National Park pass were much appreciated. The resort is a 11 km drive up the mountain from Golden, BC. This made for wonderful wildlife sightings (lots of bears). It was amazing!
We would all go back in a heartbeat.

KHMR getaway
A fantastic property that is exactly as described. Very easy access to the gondola/lifts the make for a great day of skiing. Dave was very communicative and the entire process of booking to arriving was simple. Looking forward to stay again.

Entering the house was very easy with door code provided by owner.
Before we arrived there was apower outage in the whole area of golden.
Dave kept us well updatet about the situation, great.
Kitchen was well equiped, beds are comfortable, jaccuzi and living room also very nice.

All Rooms was very clean.
Handtowels and shampoo are there as well.
Accomodation highly recomended.
