Ideal location adjacent to the golf course and short distance into Lagos. Balconies at front and rear of the apartment to catch the winter sun most of the day. Bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and kitchen was well equipped. Bonuses included free use of the Spa and the weekly cleaning of the apartment including changing the bed linen and towels.

I enjoyed staying 11 nights at this property! The kitchen was well stocked, including cutting knives that were sharp enough to cut vegetables! I travel quite a bit and have experienced many a dull knife at vacation rentals. Thank you for the many thoughtful & useful utensils, storage containers, pots/pans, dishes, mugs, glasses! Furnishings were comfortable. The large bed was comfortable. The BoaVista community is quiet and peaceful. Checking in was easier, communication with owner was very responsive & helpful. Property is short drive to several beaches, historic Lagos, grocery stores. My gratitude for opening your home up for me to stay in it!

Maria's apartment is just as described, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had one minor problem when the tv engineer could not tune in the tv. It was reported to Careways the property management company and Maria without question went out and purchased a new 55 inch Sony tv. The balconies front and back are ideal for catching the sun morning and afternoon. We would not hesitate to return.

We visited the Algarve during the brief window the UK Govt gave Portugal an air corridor. It was uncertain whether we would actually be able to go. Maria communicated regularly with us understanding our predicament. I am glad we were able to go. The apartment was really lovely, it had been cleaned to a very high standard and everything we needed for a home away from home was provided. As a golfer the location on Boavista course was ideal, the course is interesting to play and the clubhouse staff friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Maria’s apartment and the location. We intend to return Thanks Maria

Lovely apartment with great views over the golf course, Lagos and Meia Praia. Close walk to outdoor swimming pool and new Bistro which serves food and drink throughout the day. Maria is a great host and we have stayed here now 4 times.

A wonderful apartment in a very beatiful area. We loved it! We have rented aparments in France and Spain for more than twenty years, but this is the best we have ever been in. Very well equipped with evrything you need. And the bed was good - that's rarely!. Our first time in Portugal - but not the last! Thank you Maria for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

This is a lovely apartment, very spacious, and very well and very comfortably equipped. Two lovely balconies, with patio furniture. The apartment was spotlessly clean as well. I would go again and I highly recommend it. A nice bonus was the very large pool just across the road, which was also very nice and clean. The resort itself is set around a golf course, and it's all very tidy and very well maintained. It was a pleasure to arrive and see it all ! Note that it's out of town, so you need to have transport to get to other places.

Fanatastic, couldn’t fault anything with it at all. Immaculate and well equipped and would love to revisit. The only downside for us was that the resort ‘s health centre and spa was closed for refurbishment. Also the noise from building work in close vicinity spoilt the peace and quiet during the day.

We loved this place! It was spotless, check in/out was easy and the amenities were great. The apartment had everything we needed. Great location to make day trips (definitely need a car). The entire resort was very clean and the people were friendly. My only (minor) recommendation would be to provide a few pool /beach towels. We would definitely like to return.

We had a fantastic time in an excellent, perfectly positioned and well maintained apartment on the Boavista Golf Resort Complex in Lagos, Algarve. A great time of year to visit. Reasonably quiet but weather was amazing. Location could not have been mire suitable. Friendly people. A testing golf course in good condition. Apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful home. Well equipped except for towels. Each bathroom could have used more towels. Also, since most travelers don't have room for beach towels it would be nice if they could be provided. If ever we come back to Lagos we would love to stay in your beautiful home.

had a great time . Had to get family bathroom shower head repaired on arrival as was broken and the two sunbeds on the rear balcony were unusable due to the rubber straps being broken. Apart from that the apartment was lovely and airy with great views over the golf course where we would sit and have early evening drinks soaking up the peace and quiet. Cleaners were in each day which was a bonus. Our group consisted of four adults and the apartment was well large enough to allow us freedom of movement. Everything needed was in the apartment. Building work is going on further up the complex but nothing starts until 8am. Would stay here again no problem.

We had previously stayed in the Lagos area and identified the Boavista resort as somewhere that looked fabulous, and we weren't disappointed. Located roughly equidistant from Praia Da Luz and the centre of Lagos, it is a short taxi ride or car journey to the beaches, bars and restaurants in both places, costing €7 - €9 each way making eating out and sampling other attractions a breeze. Boavista Resort itself comprises a golf course and well equipped spa with a good gym and an excellent indoor pool set up for swimming laps, a multitude of individual villas, townhouses, and small apartment blocks. The buildings have varied designs, with great outlooks over the golf course, the mountains inland, or the Bay of Lagos, and are very well built and maintained to an exceptional standard, as are the spacious grounds and gardens. Our apartment comprised a master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom, a large second bedroom, a second toilet/shower room, a dining room, a large, comprehensively equipped kitchen and reasonably spacious balconies on the east and west elevations of the building, giving good sunlight from dawn til dusk. There was free wifi with good performance, an enormous smart (Netflix etc.) TV in the lounge with channels in multiple languages and smaller, but still large, TVs in the bedrooms. On arrival, everything was spotlessly clean, and we found almost everything we could possibly need to cater for ourselves. We have only two minor complaints. The sunbeds on the balcony were good quality with mattresses supported by straps. Unfortunately, several of the straps had degraded and snapped, presumably because of the sunlight, rendering the sunbeds almost unusable. This had not happened recently so it was a shame that they had not been replaced. Secondly, the kitchen was well-equipped with knives but they were very blunt. A knife sharpener would be a great addition to the inventory. Aside from these two issues, this would be a 5-star review. For 2-4 people, this aprtment is outstanding value wnd we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or to go back ourselves.

We've just arrived back from this wonderful apartment. It's an extremely well presented property, clean, tidy and everything worked!!! including the aircon which was quiet too. A nice touch was complementary wifi and Netflix, ideal for the kids. Spacious enough for family of 4 maybe at a push 5 as the lounge has sofa beds. Communication from Maria was great, I paid in full via ownersdirect and had NO issues. I've already recommended this apartment to friends and family. Thanks Maria. Ben G

We have just returned from another trip to boavista resort and stayed in this apartment which was very nice It is well located overlooking the 3rd fairway of the golf course and nicely furnished There is a free shuttle service to Luz and Lagos and it is €10 in a taxi I would recommend this apartment and will use again

This condo was absolutely fabulous and lived up to all of our expectations for our two - week stay. We could not have asked for more.

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment there are a couple of issues we would like to point out. In our opinion the apartment is unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems and people with young children due to the amount of steps to access the building and then to access the apartment. Although the advertising photo shows 2 x sun beds for the balcony there was no cushions and as these are wrought iron type which cannot be used without cushions we did not use the balcony which was a bit disappointing. Also the safe was closed shut and we could not access it all the time we were there. We felt that this was important and should have been checked before our arrival. All the staff on the Boa Vista Resort were extremely friendly and helpful and the resort itself is stunning but I would recommend a car if you wish to visit Lagos or some of the beaches. Other than the issues mentioned we would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and family a beautiful place to stay for your holiday.

We had a wonderful in Boavista. The whole resort was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The only negative was that we arrived late at night and although we had instructions where the key was and a map showing the location of our apartment, we weren't informed that it was quite a way. If it wasn't for our taxi driver who insisted that he drove us to our apartment we would have been walking for a good hour with our suitcases in the middle of the night. We should have been given clearer instructions and warnings about this. Otherwise we were going to walk from the main reception. On arrival at the apartment there was no complimentary drinks i.e. bottled water, tea, coffee making facilities. We were parched after a long journey. It's something worth considering!!

Very large flat, with very good quality of equipment, clear and spacious. Nice terrasse with view on the Golf course. We had a very nice week in this area. Don t hesitate..strongly recommanded. Marc.

This gorgeous apartment was MUCH more than expected. It was so clean, VERY spacious and the decor made it feel luxurious. The Balcony was was big with stunning views. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Really enjoyed this stay. Great apartment. Large and built to a very high standard and an excellent kitchen Quiet, but only 5 min to centre of Lagos and to the beaches with car. Loved sitting out on our main balcony. Only drawback were the beds. Rock hard, very small and short ! and the pillows where horrendous. Pity as otherwise it would have been perfect.
