Reminded me of my stays in similar pensions 40 years ago! Angelika is one of the most receptive helpful hosts we have ever come across. The property was in a quiet location with great views and central to many points of interest. The warm breakfast every morning was a great way to start our day. The room was quite large, with a comfy bed and a great shower. View of the local castle from our room was a bonus. I cannot say enough good things about this place. 12 out of 10 stars!!! We truly felt like family here.

I truly can't think of anything they could improve. A couple of points to note. You will need a car as the location is in a small town but very central to most "touristy" destinations. We were surprised by the "extra tax" which we had to pay in cash at the end of the stay. It was quite small (15 Euro range) and it was explained as a tourist tax for the mayor/city council. It is possible I overlooked this in the listing however. One other note to be aware of is that there are 3 levels and stairs required to get to the rooms and the breakfast area.

Everything is as it has to be: very nice and friendly host, quiet and nice location, very good homemade marmelaide. Very good balance price/ services.

Very personal service . Wonderful location

Great, quiet location. Room with a nice terrace. Very friendly owner of the pension. It was great that we could at any time take local wine or soft drinks from the fridge in the breakfast room and pay for it at the end of our stay. On the terrace in the evening we enjoyed a glass of good wine with a beautiful view of the vineyards.

Location was perfect. The staff (boss)was very polite and chattable. Food was amazing and fresh each morning.

Fridge was a bit small for drinks, in the heatwave it could be slightly bigger.
