location and good guest service

At the time of booking, the pictures of the property were different compared to the actual property. According to the picture, the property was located just adjacent to the Pentagon shopping center, but the actual building was far away from the fashion center. We took it as professional misconduct.

global Luxury Suites had us wait 4 hours for someone to bring the key to our unit. their customer service was NoN-responsive for 2 hours. customer service is HORRIBLE.

convenience and capacity (activities for kids, work/meeting area, and plenty of room in the apartment. location was perfect.
the rooms was not completely cleaned when we arrived. also, the bed was not an actual bed. not sure what the mattress was, but very uncomfortable.

location. nice rooftop view of city. my kiddo loved the outdoor pool. gym nice
“global luxury suites” staff all seem very millennial, hard to talk to them, they eventually answer emails. most people in the building are long term renters.

Bathroom readiness wasn’t good and the cleaning of the apartment was not acceptable to me and my family
4.0 / 5.0
Great location for touring DC. Easy access to Metro, grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants.
The master bed was not very comfortable. The frame was missing a base so slightly uneven. The bed was extremely creaky. Each time you moved it made significant noise.

I did not receive the check in email with the necessary codes to access the box with keys. Thank goodness for the concierge who helped us check in.
Pool and gym are very nice and the location is great for exploring DC
Dealing with Global Suites! They are still sending me emails asking for credit card authorization after we have left!!

Location and overall apartment quality
People and their harassing behaviour.
Numerous urgent emails that I needed to reply immediately to avoid any fines. In my 3 nights stay I spend most of my time replying to their emails and uploading various documents multiple times. I was asked to upload the pictures of both sides of my credit card multiple times even after my card was charged for full amount.
I was charged for the parking but the parking was not available so I had to park my car in some other building.
Overall, the staff and the people I was dealing with were highly incompetent and harassing.
I have travelled to more then 60 cities in NA, WE, and Asia but never had such a bad experience.
I may not use booking.com in future. This apartment appeared in the list of hotels which was misleading and we ended up there.

We got a nice view, it was clean and comfortable.
the shower didn’t have a lot of water pressure bc the water was coming out of the bottom. And the shower curtain was dirty

extremely clean and modern. The bed was actually a king size. the location is easy to travel from by car for sightseeing. it is a short walking distance from Whole Foods and Costco and other stores are a very short drive. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment made our stay much less stressful The Wi-Fi was excellent. The area around the apartment is also full of new construction and felt very safe for walking or morning run.
There is some low traffic noise from the freeway. However the alarm clock is equipped with a white sound feature that masks the problem There are not a lot of great dining places we found.

Very nice apartment.
Apartment was not ready at check in time. Had to wait more than 3 hours. Taked to Global Luxury Suites 3 times - they did not help at all.
Will never stay again with Global Luxury Suites again for that reason.

I could not load anything on their crap software & I tried several times from the minute their automation emails began, prior to arriving. After immediately emailing the company 'directly', expressing my issues, I received no response. Just kept receiving pushy automation emails to complete what I was having issues with. So I reached out & nothing. No response, no help, nothing. But I was able to continuously confirm what time I would be arriving at 4pm(3 separate times mind you). After finally getting my documents to load the day before I arrived, I received no pin to the locker in which my keys would be. I was extremely deterred from bothering the concierge with anything and had strict instructions to figure it out myself. Well I was very nice to the concierge, who in turn was nice to me and did a few extra tasks to locate my pin to get my keys to the apartment at 4:10pm. I got to the room and there was a lamp in pieces leaning in the corner of the living room. Then upon looking around, the sink wasn't draining in the bathroom. I went around to turn some lights on & I discovered 3 out of 4 lights DID NOT WORK. The only one that did turn on, had half of the bulbs missing from it and flickered, the whole time. Another had puppy bites through the cord(found a chewed up puppy bone under the couch) to confirm the marks. Fun. Glad I didn't electrocute myself on that one. Hours after I checked in, I received the pin to the locker. sigh. And that was just the first evening. Nothing got fixed quickly. Everything is through a third party company, not doing at all well at managing these rentals in the apartment building. One of everything, God forbid that company trip allow you more than the bare minimum for your business, time & energy. Absolute waste.
I travel to DC a week, every month. This reservation was atrocious from the minute I pressed 'reserve'. What a mistake! DO NOT STAY HERE. They are completely hands off & extra fee friendly. They expect YOU to be the check-in crew, the maintenance person, the security guard & the cleaning staff; AND they charge YOU to do these roles after they've judged your work. No one will respond directly if there are any issues. They will excessively blow up your email with multiple automated emails, giving you tasks to do. To ensure they are as hands off as possible & make it very clear that you will be charged EXTRA fee's if they aren't satisfied with how you do everything & follow their instructions on how to be there. Not how to be a guest, how to be in their space. Without your consent, they will charge your card. Regardless of how they did their job. It was HORRIBLE and I wish I could get a FULL refund. But no one will acknowledge or respond after my card was charged. So I figured someone should know and hopefully save their money. I'd recommend SEVERAL other establishments over this one.

The property was big, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. I was happy with that. Good location.
***Would not stay again!! ***Very difficult dealing with this property. I cina stand received emails for more copies of my ID which I sent multiple times. When we arrived the thermostat was locked at a freezing cold temperature and there was no Internet which wouldn’t be fixed until the next day we were informed. I called the property to advise them if this. They asked if they had permission to enter while I was not there. I said no, as I had a lot of my identification left in the apartment. We returned only to find someone in there attending to the Internet. Then after 2 days of staying there we re read the house rules only to learn the door doesn’t lock when you leave. There is no warnings of this. So anyone could have walked right in. Which they did! Twice ! Thankfully we were home, and they advised “sorry we thought we were on a different floor” seemed suss to me. I’m so glad we were home. One lady just walked right on in.
The second issue. So much dog/cat hair! We had animal hair all over us!

The room was beautiful, very roomy and stocked with everything that we needed. The high rise facility was beautiful and the location was convenient to everything.
The hosts were difficult to work with. I had done my online parking registration, but it didn't save apparently because they didn't have it. I called and was told they couldn't get me my parking information on the night of my arrival and offered ZERO help to resolve it. Luckily there was a desk person that worked at the apartment building who told me there was free overnight street parking. Doing it on my mobile device was impossible, I was finally able to get the transaction to go through on my laptop once I got to my room. They didn't deliver my parking pass until day 3 of my 4 day stay. I was extremely frustrated with the poor customer service on this. Also, they send the same email 4 or 5 times, so it makes it very hard to keep up with all of the emails and if you are missing something.

great location
originally booked for bigger room, they tried to give me the smaller room and told me there was no such thing as a bigger room even though it is advertised on booking.com, had to complain and follow up many times during my stay to see why they had done that to me and was eventually given the original sized room i had booked. so much miscommunication between all the staff members, very unprofessional. in order to book you need to submit photos of your passport, id, credit card with no knowledge of what they do with those photos after, completely sketchy. the beds are uncomfortable, the bed frames are garbage, make one move and the whole thing squeaks. definitely would not recommend, stay away at all costs!

Location was perfect for my needs re going to pentagon city and the Birchmere.
Paper work required via website ended up taking literally hours to register bc the site for some reason locked up and wasnt able to send necessary papers, credentials. Parking was paid for - but never received the parking pass - in the end, I just parked on the street. Will have to contact for refund on parking and certainly it will take hours to recover - what, $20? After all of the conundrum of the paperwork - some guy saying he was an "inspector" but wouldnt provide further documentation - wanted to come in the apt and "look around." I stupidly let him in, but shouldnt have in hindsight. He caught me off guard.

The gym was awesome. It was open, masks optional for vaccinated and mandatory for unvaccinated.
Apartment was exactly like Air BnB experience plus had access to all amenities.
Minor issue, but there was an exhaust fan in the kitchen that was running constantly. Not loud but just a little annoying.

Location
Beds (especially the sleeping sofa) were not comfortable. The apartment was very dusty and infested with bugs (bitten all over - my young daughter and myself). The parking spot assigned to us was occupied by someone else and it took two days to solve the issue.
