Excellent hotel - immaculately cleaned rooms, modern and staff were extremely helpful each time I reached out for help or assistance with something. This will now be my go to hotel whenever I visit DMV.

Very nice facility! The staff was awesome! The shuttle service to/from the airport and metro station was a lifesaver! Highly recommend this property!

Fridge didn't work properly Guest had to pay for parking 44$ a day! And was stuck in an elevator for 10 mins!!!!!!!!

The daily fee should be paid for the parking, for us I think it was $40 per day, the parking spots on the first underground floor were all reserved for valet parking, and parking spots were mostly inconvenient.

My recent stay at the Renaissance Washington Hotel was marred by an unnecessary billing mishap that has left me frustrated and inconvenienced. Despite having fully paid for my booking via Booking.com in advance, I was charged again for the same amount by the hotel, essentially being double-billed. Upon discovering this, I immediately contacted the hotel. During the initial conversation, they deflected responsibility, indicating that they hadn't received payment from Booking.com and I needed to follow up with the booking site. However, Booking.com requested a receipt for my stay, which the hotel had failed to provide at checkout as promised. In subsequent calls to the hotel, the staff admitted to an error on their part and promised a refund. However, two weeks passed without any refund. When I contacted the hotel again, the representative seemed unhelpfully uninformed about my situation and claimed it was too late to access any information because a month had passed since my checkout. Luckily, after countless calls and several hours spent on the line, the hotel finally provided me with the receipt. Armed with this, I was able to submit the necessary documentation to Booking.com to hopefully secure my refund. In conclusion, while the Renaissance Washington Hotel may offer an otherwise pleasant stay, their inefficient system for handling payment issues has seriously impacted my experience. I urge future guests to be vigilant about their charges to avoid experiencing the same frustrating ordeal.

It was not clean at all. Hair in the bathroom. Linen ripped and smells. Poor customer service. We made a confirmed reservation through booking and when we arrived they told us we didn't have any reservations even though I'm showing it to them. They told me to call booking. Com. I had to make another reservation.
