Hosts Barry & Jens are very welcoming and made us feel home. The are very attentive and take their time for a nice chat. We never feeled in a hurry. The B&B is very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the available options for a continental style breakfast as we prefer it over a cooked breakfast. We can highly recommend that B&B.

I have never seen such attention to detail in the provision of a B&B service. They could not go to any greater lengths to ensure you have everything you need, Staying there was a treat. Exceptional breakfast served by hands encased in white linen gloves. The place was absolutely spotless.

Hosts are more than welcoming and friendly, always striving to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Lovely prepared breakfast and very comfortable beds in a spotlessly clean and peaceful area.

Our stay at Valhallla BnB was the best in Ireland so far. Jens and Barry are awesome hosts that take care of everything you need as a traveller. The rooms are elegant, super clean and love for the details can be seen everywhere in the house. The trip recommondations we received from our hosts made our days Beara and Kerry even more joyfull. Last but not least the breakfast: Freshly made and really tasty! There is absolutely nothing to criticize! 10/10.

Best breakfast I have ever had at a b and b. Attention to detail and seating (view overlooking the bay) were far beyond the price point. Barry and Jen’s passion for their business shone throughout. They were attentive, knowledgeable (regarding areas to visit) and friendly. Spotlessly clean and well presented.

The property is immaculately presented with stunning views, the hosts Barry and Jens were incredibly warm, friendly and brilliantly attentive, with recommendations for local restaurants and driving routes. the breakfast tasted fantastic and was served in beautifully ornate rooms. We will definitely return to Barry and Jens and their fabulous home

Nothing to improve

My wife and I had a remarkable stay at the very aptly-named Valhalla BnB! From the awe-inspiring natural beauty surrounding the property to the warmth of Jens and Barry, we couldn't have been happier. After asking a few questions about what we were interested in doing around Kenmare, Jens and Barry had wonderful suggestions on local hikes, drives, and restaurants that made our trip to the area truly special. The rooms were exceptionally tidy and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We honestly cannot recommend this accommodation enough and will certainly stay here again next time we are in the area.

Phenomenal! The view here cannot be beat. The hosts were amazingly helpful with sightseeing suggestions. I will definitely be coming back!

The hosts are amazing, very friendly, warm, and helpful. Their advice for things to do around Kenmare was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were nice, and the view was beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Everything. Jens and Barry were super friendly. They gave some good adress for visiting and dinning. The house was perfectly clean. Equipment were top quality. Breakfast in a private room was fantastic.

Being very picky, I would say that a trash bin directly in the room in addition to the bathroom would have been better.

This was like staying in a boutique hotel more than a B&B - everything is considered and immaculate. Daily continental breakfast was first rate, and the hosts were really open and friendly. The accomodation is private with sensational views over the bay.

Absolutely nothing

Barry and Jens were exceptional hosts, providing a truly home from home experience. From the moment we arrived, they couldn't do enough to make our stay more comfortable. They provided so much information on local restaurants and amenities, and great tips as we headed off each morning on our road trips. Providing us with maps and homemade cake to take away! Breakfast was personalized to the finest detail, beautifully cooked and presented in our private dining area overlooking the most beautiful views of the gardens, sea and mountains. They made us feel extremely safe in terms of Covid-19, with sanitizer located in lots of handy places, constant mask-wearing, social distancing taken very seriously and careful respect of personal space. 10/10 score for these wonderful hosts!

We had a fantastic stay at Valhalla. No complaints, if anything there were unexpected bonuses! The B&B was spotless with great attention to detail and clear intent on behalf of the hosts to ensure their guests feel welcome and special! The hosts were considerate, interested and kind. They went to great lengths to ensure that not only was our stay in the B&B positive but that our experience of the surrounding area rewarding as well. The food was superb and the hosts were great fun too. We thank Jens and Barry for a great time and no doubt we will return.

Barry and Jens made great suggestions as to where we should go hiking. They were very helpful and the view from their property was lovely.
