The host Sandra was really friendly and welcoming! The area was nice and quiet, just surrounded by nature. The house itself was very small, but great for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The pool area was really nice and the views were beautiful :))
The only downside was the kitchen area as it was very small, was lacking some utensils and cutlery was very old and tasted and smelled like metal, but if you don’t care about cooking too much, then its all fine :)

The house was very lovely, the owners made sure you can enjoy the surrounding with privete pool area, shade with chairs and a table, BBQ even a hammock.
The shower was very nice and the A.C unit was really good and saved me when the temp raised to 40°c.

We didn't have breakfast
The accesses, it's a two way street where two cars wouldn't be able to cross with one another, we were lucky enough not to run into someone else coming the other way, but it's not ideal. It's also a really steep and tight climb for an average car to make, I don't know if a large one would be able to go through it

Great little cottage, had everything we needed for a few nights stay. The host was really friendly. Perfect location for hiking.

Lovely view from the location. BBQ facilities. Good nature trail for taking a walk along the river.
Tip: Great butcher in the next village over who also spoke a bit of English which was helpful to learn about the local delicacies.
The mattress made me hot.

Beautifully converted cottage, they provided everything we would need for cooking, washing clothes etc. including condiments, laundry liquid etc. swimming pool was a good size - and we were able to get to it along the dirt track rather than the steep steps. The owners printed out our boarding cards for us.
There was a sign to Quinta da Baldeira in the village, the road up was very narrow and when we got to the reception the owner was not there and we were not sure where to go.

A gorgeous little house with a breathtaking view of "Parque do Alvao" and as near to the monastery of "Senhora da Graça", surrounded by nature, mountains, trees, and flowers. It is the perfect place for relaxing, indeed silence and privacy are strong points of that place. Moreover, is possible to use a private BBQ and a wonderful swimming pool. I really want to return to that amazing place.
