Very well kept historical house, with lots of nice details. pictures correspond to reality (not always true). Homeowner extremely nice and careful. well equipped kitchen and dining room, and two extra tables in the garden (outside). There are 3 full bathrooms, but 2 of them are less nicely located in less, and none of the bedrooms are suites. therefore, bathrooms are shared among the different bedrooms (not an issue if everyone is acquainted). Breakfast is provided but not served - things are left for guests to prepare it, including coffee, expresso, milk, fruits, jams, bread, etc. There are plenty of amenities around, in a couple of meters such as supermarket, restaurants, takeaways, pharmacy, gas stations, public transportation and plenty of free parking.

Casa Portegueza is just fabulous. There were just 4 of us but ten could have stayed here. The rooms were huge and spacious, and we loved having the garden for breakfast in the morning. The hosts were super and left fab items for us for breakfast so we didn’t have to shop first day. The communication was super at all times. The house is a little outside the Centre which we like for the peace. It’s 25 minutes maybe walk or 5 mins in an Uber which were so cheap - never an issue.

We had such a lovely warm welcome and the property was fabulous for the amount we paid . We loved the traditional style and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty . We can highly recommend . Great local bar across the road .

Expect quite a walk to get to the tourists area . Uber was reliable and reasonably priced .

What a wonderful stay at an amazing and memorable property. Casa Portugueza itself is a special house, but what takes it to the next level are your hosts! Noemia, Cristina and Chef Lili are the best! So very friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. The daily delivery of breakfast is such a treat and having Chef Lili prepare dinner at the house for us was a highlight of the trip! Phenomenal. I can't recommend Casa Portugueza enough. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, ladies, for the incredible stay!
