Perfect place for a family of 5. Easy to walk to all the York historical places. We loved the “Bloody Tour of York” with Mad Alice.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this great property. So convenient for the town centre and wonderful to have a parking space.

Lovely place to stay! Very close to all the attractions in York but peacefully on the river and lots of green to look at out back patio. We enjoyed the swans who came each evening. House is very nicely set up, our family of 4 was very comfortable! Highly recommend.

We had a 2 night stay at this lovely house which is in a great location for reaching the city centre quickly.
The house was clean and nicely decorated and had ALL the essentials - washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, WiFi, electric shower.
The area itself was really quiet, being a small cul de sac and we didn’t see or hear the people in the nearby houses.
There were plenty of towels and the owners very kindly left little chocolates on the bed and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge….just extra little touches that made us feel welcome.
Overall a great stay in a nice city in a really lovely house and I’d have no hesitation in booking this house again for a future visit.

Ideal little spot, loved it. I imagine in the nice weather it is absolutely gorgeous in the little Riverside garden. Our weather was cold but the view was of the river and there were ducks and lovely wildlife. House was clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and even bread, butter and milk, with teabags, coffee etc. Very pleased and would definitely go there again.

Very easy to communicate with the owner Jayne. Immaculately clean with a large kitchen and towels, linen, dishcloths, tea and coffee all provided, and a lovely unexpected welcome in the fridge of prosecco, bread, butter and milk. Very clear wufi codes etc too.The garden is much bigger than expected and was lovely to sit in by the river. We all slept so well in very comfy beds. We will recommend the house and are planning back in the future. (The only thing missing was some kitchen roll, and to say there are stairs in the property, but neither caused us an issue.) We had a fantastic weekend. Thank you.

Do you know when you walk into someone’s home and you can tell it’s well cared for the moment you enter? This is that kind of home. The home is spotless, beautifully organized, comfortable, and in a great location with very friendly neighbors. The home is everything you hope for when traveling. Five stars. Two thumbs up. This was an amazing place for my family (including 3 teens) to stay. Very clean, easy check-in, great kitchen facilities. Dedicated on-site parking right in front of unit. Great location. A little off the beaten path but very quiet and only a 10-15 minute walk from downtown and and the old city center. Close to several grocery stores. The hosts were very responsive. We had a kitchen appliance problem on a holiday but the hosts came out to the unit to fix the issue. Only one set of keys for the unit (previous guests had lost the second set and the hosts hadn't had time to replace) so we could not split up to do different things but the host intends to procure a second set. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great location only a short walk into town we loved the markets, side streets, atmosphere and cathedral we had rain, wind and snow all adding the Christmas feel in the air, sadly due to the weather we could not walk the city walls so will need to return 😃 the house was clean and comfortable we loved our long weekend break xx

The property was perfect for our stay. It was bigger than we expected and the little garden at the back by the river was a lovely addition to the house.
The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
We were celebrating our son's graduation so the complimentary bottle of prosecco was much appreciated (as was the bread, milk and butter kindly provided).
The location was great, a short walk from the centre of York. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This property is much better than the pictures show. It has comfy beds, big fluffy towels, lots of little touches, and a welcome pack. Everything was great. Communication with the host was prompt and reliable.

We had a lovely stay. The location was excellent for the Barbican as we were going to see a show. Also very close to town centre so easy access. Lovely house, beautifully cleaned and presented. Lovely outdoor area for drinks in the sunshine by the river. Lots of space to sit in the lounge. Very spacious upstairs - comfy beds and pilllows. Definitely recommend this property and I will def be back. Thank you for the welcome pack too xx

This rental was perfect for our family of four travelling across the UK by car. Location was great and we enjoyed walking to most sites in York. Property was as advertised with everything we needed including some nice refreshments upon arrival, welcome after a long drive! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Kieth and Jayne!

Couldn’t fault our stay. Property was well maintained, clean and welcoming (particularly the bottle of Prosecco!) Have stayed in area before but directions etc were vey accurate. We would all love to stay again, can’t say better than that.

A perfectly lovely place for a stay in York
This gem of a cozy house is just 5 minutes from the center of York and yet it is in a calm, smart neighborhood. The backyard overlooking the canal is where we took all of our meals, shaded by the trees in the evening. The bedrooms are nice and the beds very comfortable. It got warm while we were in York but we stayed cool with the windows slightly opened. The interior decoration in the kitchen and bathroom is very nice. Overall lovely stay and nice sleep.

We booked this for our pregnant friends hendo and the house was amazing. It was clean and so spacious. We had a bottle of prosecco on arrival too. The garden was lovely and we chilled in it a lot. Would definitely stay again.
