Le beau hall d'entrée mène à une lumière, maison spacieuse avec des escaliers majestueux, réparties sur 4 étages, où la grandeur de son caractère géorgien rencontre le confort de son design contemporain.
Chaque étage a été soigneusement restaurée, avec au rez-de-chaussée offre une salle de jeux avec table de billard et Sky TV, et une salle de démarrage à l'arrière, où vous trouverez beaucoup d'espace pour stocker des sports nautiques et de l'équipement de golf, avec une zone de séchage pour tous les invités à fourrure.

Lovely older property sprawled across 4 floors with lots of stairs (plenty of places to stop for a rest!), fantastic views of the harbour and sea beyond from front viewing rooms. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beaches - what more could you ask for?! Parking spaces - there’s two around the back behind a security gate. We had a lovely time with great weather and enjoyed our welcome pack very much. Thank you!!

We went as a family of 10…..ages 6 to 56 and 2 dogs! The house was just as described and perfect for a large gathering with all amenities you need.
In a lovely location….walking distance to a beach and plenty of cafes/bars with a stunning view of the Marina/harbour from the balcony!

A very large house, perfect for several friends (or 2 or 3 families with children) to enjoy a stay by the coast together.
Beds were comfy and bathroom and or toilet room on each floor was handy.
We were group of 7 friends and hiuse was perfect for our needs with 5 double rooms and a twin. Only small negative observation is that although house can comfortably sleep 12 people, tou would not all be able to sit together to eat but as we were only 7, this was not an issue. Kitchen well equipped with 2 ovens, large hob, microwave and wide range of glassware and crockery.
Love rhe view over the harbour from the front of the house, especially the little balcony reom the lounge. The games room with pool table provided entertainment too. Grat that can securely park 2 cars off road at rear of house too. Richard, the host, was very helpful with pre-arrival info and also generously allowed a slightly later check out which assisted in more relaxed departure in the morning.

This house has everything you need to have a great weekend. This was our second visit. It's well equipped, nicely presented, good beds, good living areas. Great location. Only problem was wall lights weren't working in the living room, we made do, but needs to be fixed.

Such a beautiful house. We had three generations from 86 down to 11 year olds and we all loved it. Off street parking was a bonus, as was the games room and all the board games. Memories were made and much laughter and fun was had.

I cannot recommend this house enough.
We had a wonderful week. Plenty of space for everyone with stunning views and lots of shops and things to do in the local area.
The host was really helpful and communicative - nothing was too much trouble.
Off-street parking for 2 cars was a huge bonus.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of stairs , but even tho I walk with a stick handrails and steps were fine .
Secure parking was a bonus but would you get 2 cars in that space?
The website description was inadequate no real info about what was on each floor ie useful to know that there is a loo on all floors but one -
Which bathrooms had shower only. ( master bedroom had a great shower) . Some websites have a floor plan which is helpful too.
The only real difficulty was the sun in the kitchen later in the day which made it almost unbearable. I’m sure blinds will be added in due course and as our weather was very hot it was probably made worse.
We were due to have a family reunion but as one of our party broke her hip just before we were due to stay so there were only two of us!
Overall a beautiful house with lovely original features , comfortably furnished and well equipped.

House could not have been better situated for all Ramsgate had to offer. (Shops, restaurants, beach, leisure.)
Considering how many people it could accommodate there were no shortages of anything.

We cannot give an account as due to incident didn’t stay there
The owner eventually found an alternative which due to short notice we had to accept but this wasn’t what we paid for ie sea view - en suite and all being together 2 of us had to go to a separate site which wasnt what we wanted
I know wasnt owner fault but he did drag his heels a bit so the alterations weren’t finalised until 6pm the evening before so very stressful start

We stayed for one week a party of 10 ranging from 83 years old to 5 years old, and the space was perfect for us especially as we had 3 teenagers who enjoyed the games room downstairs. We cooked several meals at home including a Sunday roast, great sized oven, plenty of plates saucepans, glasses etc. Walking distance to local bars & restaurants and good position to explore the local area.
The host responded instantly to any queries we had, overall positive experience and would recommend.

We were there to celebrate my 70th birthday and it could not have been better! Brilliant!
Spacious and user friendly for our 6-70 age range. We ate out each day but could easily have cooked in the very well equipped kitchen. Our cooked breakfast was a definite success.
Certainly a home from home and no having to make do here.

We (a party of 10 family) had w wonderful time at the Old Surgery, for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration..
The house is huge and there seemed no end to differet rooms and floors.
It is the perfect house for a large group to gather, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is superb as are the views from the front. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms decent and everything was as described. We all felt rather sad to be leaving after our long weekend.
Richard very promptly answered our questions which was helpful. It is worth noting that the instructions provided refer to a remote control for the shutters. We didn't realise that that was not window shutters but the main shutter to the back parking area.
We highly recommend this property to anyone who does not mind many flights of stairs to climb !.

6 of us stayed here for 3 nights. From the moment we opened the front door we knew we were in a special place. The house is huge, and the photos don’t show it off to its best. We loved the kitchen and how sociable a place is was to eat and chat together. The sitting room was comfy and warm, with fantastic views out across the harbour. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds and were a nice size. The games room was a hit with a pool table and a little bit of dancing.
The location is fantastic and Ramsgate is certainly an upcoming area with lots of new independent eateries around the harbour. We will be booking for next year. Thanks for a great weekend.

We were 4 couples together for a 5 day family reunion. We couldn’t imagine a more perfect accommodation. The common rooms (kitchen, dining, living room and games room) were spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were separated on three floors, with comfortable beds and linens. Most bathrooms (one ensuite) were newly renovated.
The location was ideal. Lovely views on the ocean, marina and within walking distance of restaurant, groceries etc…
Highly recommend this home for a hassle free, relaxing time with friends or family.

Our family stayed at this beautiful house for my sisters 30th birthday, it made her birthday so special as the house is beautiful and in the best location possible. We all didn’t want to leave! Richard even left us a lovely welcome hamper with goodies which was really appreciated, we had a baby with us and the cot was left out ready, a spare pram along with two high chairs to choose from! Everything was thought of and we honestly couldn’t have had a better stay, there is 7 of us in total but the house can definitely hold more people. The games/pool room was a really great bonus. We would really love to stay again - thank you!

The Old Surgery is a wonderful house, in a fantastic position. It would have been worth the stay just for sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbour. But there is much more to it. The kitchen/diner is perfect for a large family, and our teenage grandsons spent much of their time in the pool room. As a party of ten we had room for all guests to have a comfortable and stylish bedroom.

Lovely property, great location
We loved this house and had a fabulous stay. There was plenty of room for us all and the location was amazing. The beach, shops and everything was within easy walking distance. Beds were comfortable too. Definitely recommended.
The only issue was getting in when we arrived. The email giving us details on how to get access etc was never received. So we struggled to get in! We think the process failed somewhere along the line but we did get in eventually and all was good :-)

The house was amazing and the perfect space needed for 6 couples to stay. The games room with the pool table was an added bonus. We could just sit and look at the view over looking the harbour all morning and the binoculars was a nice touch. Everthing you could need provided in the kitchen. Very clean and the beds were super comfy. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Ramsgate in both the house, restaurants and many bars located in walking distance. Fabulous February break!!
We had a fantastic stay at this property! It is definitely one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. The layout worked perfectly for 2 families and the pool room was well used!
