The place is amazing! The unit is well maintained and clean. It has everything you could need and the hot tub was great! This was our second time renting this unit and would stay there every time we visit the area! The views in every direction are impossible to imagine! My favorite place to stay in Iceland!

Really cute, cozy and comfortable! The beds were comfortable and the tub was amazing! I loved that it was possible to walk straight into the bathroom from the hot tub.
The dishes were not clean when we arrived so the first thing I did was wash dishes. The check in was at 16:00 and check out at 11:00 for a one night stay I felt it was very short. I would have loved it if check in could have been a bit earlier and the check out a bit later!

So easy to find and the perfect size and layout for a small family like ours. The heating was excellent, we almost never got out of the hot tub and we cooked several meals with ease. One morning we even woke up to a surprise snow fall!! It felt magical and we would highly recommend to families and stay again ourselves.
A slighter newer TV that would have allowed us to login to our own streaming accounts would have been nice but not essential.

Awesome cabin. Kitchen was had coffee, tea, salt and sugar. Fully functional kitchen with good appliances and utensils. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The water in the hot tub was hot and comfortable. The cabin was clean, bathrooms were clean. Instructions to access cabin was very detailed.
Since the cabin is in a open area and the night we stayed at the cabin was super windy we could not sleep much. We could hear the howling wind through out the night. Not sure if there is a way to make the wind noise less but this was the only issue we had.

Hot tub, location, well equipped cabin, felt v homely, clean and spacious.

Amazing big windows for seeing the northern lights which unfortunately we didn’t manage to see.
Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice as we didn’t bring and nearest shop quite far.
Smell of the sulphur water- but appreciate its natural.
Robes would be a nice touch for use of the hot tub.
Arrived in the dark and v difficult to see the number on the cabins. 4a parking post had been knocked down also and covered in snow so was more of a process of illumination than seeing the number on the cabin. Think the number at the road be better.

The directions on how to access the cabin and use the facility were clear and easy to follow. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location and views were lovely, and the hot tub was amazing!
The tap water was incredibly sulfurous -- it smelled and tasted terrible. Also, it appeared that the smoke detectors in all of the rooms had been removed, as the brackets were present on the ceilings but there were no detectors in them. This is a safety concern. Finally, despite being a remote area with plenty of open space, the cabin was right next to another cabin, so we could hear and see the other party as they used their hot tub and spent time outside. More space and privacy would have been better.

Excellent living space for a cottage this size - comfortable sofa, good seating for a meal. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent hot tub. The views are really nice in clear weather. Well located for Golden Circle sites.
The second bedroom is quite small. The cottage would be good for 2 couples or a family of 4, but not really for 4 individual adults.

The view and the location were good.
The cabin was extremely dirty, it obviously hadn't been cleaned. The oven was so dirty that it was unusable. The cabin needed small fixes here and there. The beds were uncomfortable. We desperately needed a barbeque grill.
