The house was just right for my wife & I and our dog, Bella.

Wow, what an incredible experience at Bob’s property. Everything is perfect, from the location to the finishes inside the space. As a couple celebrating our anniversary with our dog we found the stay to be absolutely ideal. The front yard is large as is the shared driveway, sitting on a quiet road across from the National Sea Shore Salt Pond visitor center. You’re only two turns from Route 6 and can shoot up and down the cape easily, as we did, covering the whole length. The kitchen has new countertops/ cabinets, Keurig, toaster, electric range, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee pot, etc. Beautiful updated bathroom and shower, large King bed, & a comfy couch were some of the interior highlights. Television has Apple AirPlay so you can mirror any of your apps but also has preloaded apps. Plenty of natural light but also blinds and blackouts if you wanted to sleep in. We were so lucky this was available and are already planning with extended family to hopefully stay again, utilizing the cottage and also master house on the same property! Bob was available when needed and maintains a beautiful home away from home.

Very well equipped. Neat clean bright with abundant natrual light. Our dog enjoyed her stay as well. Already booked our next return visit. Couldn't recommend highly enough. 😊

If you’re visiting the national seashore, this is a great location. The property is well-kept. There are many restaurants nearby. In the spring, the property is extremely quiet.

My husband and I and our miniature Goldendoodle enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Our dog loved playing in the fenced in yard. We enjoyed biking on Cape Cod Rail trail, touring Cape Cod and daily ferry excursions to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Highly recommend this cottage, great location and property. We had a fun and relaxing getaway.

We really enjoyed our three-night stay. The place is beautiful and bed was super comfortable. We needed a centrally located place so that we could explore the Cape and it fit the bill. Perfect rental for a couple looking for a getaway. Also, the owners are great communicators and very flexible. We planned on bringing our dog and when we didn’t, they refunded our Pet Fee. It was a nice treat after an excellent Cale Weekend.

We had such a wonderful stay here and truly can’t wait to come back! I spent a weekend in this beautifully renovated, super CLEAN, delightfully comfortable home with my boyfriend and Maltipoo. This adorable home looks better in person and we loved the layout. The King bed in the bedroom was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The dining room has an adorable bay window where you can look out while you drink your morning coffee. We felt very safe in this home, all windows and doors had really good locks and have new shades / blinds for privacy. I mention these details specifically because we have stayed in other homes before where these features were non existent. The kitchen has everything you need to make quick meals and the grocery store is only 5mins away. The grounds to the home were very well kept and the pathways to the front door were clear. The location of this home was perfect, only a short ride to a pond and the beach. Bob and Lori are lovely hosts that responded right away when we had questions, so kind and helpful. Checking in and out process was so easy! If you can find availability for this home, book immediately, you wont regret it.

My husband and I felt very much at home in this cottage! Pet friendly so our English Bulldog enjoyed the yard. Check-in and checkout very simple! Hosts are very easy to communicate with! They are truly Premier Hosts!

Overall fabulous stay! It was perfect for the two of us and our two german shepherds. Great location quiet area. A few suggestions- a mat in the bathroom, a radio, extra towels and toilet paper. I would highly recommend this place and would love to return again.

This was the perfect place for my partner, myself and our dog. The dog loved the large yard and we loved everything about the cottage, including the proximity to the beaches and other towns we like to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

An absolutely wonderful spot! We loved our stay. The cottage has been beautifully renovated. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed for a great stay! Wonderful yard. Loved beating my husband at horseshoes! Group of 10 wild turkeys paid a visit. 5 minute drive to the beach. Close to everything the upper Cape has to offer! Great location for access to the national seashore. Very comfortable accommodations. The neighborhood is very quiet. A few good restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes of the property.

Beautifully landscaped outside and with everything you need inside, we were able to use the cottage as a base of operations as we explored the outer cape.

We had a wonderful stay at Schoolhouse Cottage. Cottage was very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay there again!!

The cottage was exactly as promised and lived up to expectations. All was perfect with one small caveat-should forewarn visitors that shampoo and shower gels/soaps not provided. Small issue which did not impact terrific stay.

Great vacation rental. Wonderful accommodation and large fenced yard. Our dog enjoyed it too. Fabulous location just off Route 6 and very close to Coast Guard beach and Nauset Light beach. We are looking forward to returning next year. AC works great and nice kitchen, outdoor grill and shower too.

My wife and I stayed at the property and have nothing but good things to say about it. The rental was super clean and felt very homey upon arrival. This unit is the perfect space for a couple looking for some r&r on the cape! We will definitely be back!

We returned to this property for a second summer based on the great location by the national seashore, big yard, and comfortable accommodations. There have been a few upgrades since last year including a new couch and additional curtains for privacy. Great property and experience! Don’t skip the outdoor shower!

Had a great stay; the cottage is pretty sweet. Easy convenient location to beaches, restaurants, etc. Nicely appointed. Our only negatives: The futon couch is uncomfortable for either sleeping or sitting, and the outdoor shower is too close to the neighboring house so we didn't use it. Thank you!

This property is a quick hop, skip, and a jump from the National Seashore, First Encounter Beach, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Wellfleet and Orleans are only 15 minutes in either direction by car. The property is clean, modern, and appointed with the basic necessities. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are full of natural light from the various skylights. The property comes equipped with an outdoor outdoor shower, beach chairs, and a private patio with outdoor furniture. It's perfect for a couple or small family looking to get away. Our host was welcoming, responsive, and attentive to the issues we brought to his attention. The only drawback to this rental is its proximity to the neighboring property (also a rental). There isn't a shade or covering on the door that faces the neighboring property which makes you feel slightly exposed. The outdoor shower is also within view of the neighboring property - so we didn't feel comfortable using it while others were next door. Those items aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely book this property again in the future. Thank you, Bob for a lovely stay.

The cottage is clean and charming. The yard was a great play space for our poodle. Only one criticism: the couch/futon is not comfortable for watching the t.v. And there's only one other chair--a wooden rocker. I would gladly recommend the spot, though.

My wife and I loved the property. It's a great, private location. Coast Guard Beach is an easy walk/run away. The pictures don't do it justice. We won't hesitate to book again.

We went to the Cape before the masses arrived as I heard horror stories about the traffic during summer. The cottage was perfect for my wife, my dog, and myself. Newly renovated, it was clean, well set up, with plenty of kitchen gear. It’s located on a larger fenced property close to beaches and hiking trails. If you bring your dog, be aware they’re allowed on certain areas of the beaches but not on hiking trails. I’d recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a vacation.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Can walk to the Salt Pond Visitor Center and only a short drive to restaurants. Exceptionally clean and beautifully renovated. Easy to communicate with the host. Highly recommend!

Great location for visiting the cape especially the Cape Cod National Seashore. Very clean modern place to stay. Manager gave quick responses to all of my requests. My husband myself and our small dog enjoyed our stay very much.
