The free breakfast is cooked to order and very good. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is very near the town center. Be sure to visit the Cruz Del Sur observatory outside town. Make reservations and buy tickets first. Remember that there are no restaurants open on Sundays.

Airconditing would have been nice.

Considering where it is its great , Sylvia was a great overnight host. Center of town so a little walk with the bags, but all good. A simple but fresh breakfast, the local eggs were fantastic.

Location is good, very central. Rooms are quite new and clean. I had a nice view to the mountains. The staff I met in person were nice.

In the app it said "no prepayment needed" and also no free cancellation. After booking they sent me a (probably automated) message that they want me to pay 50% of the price in advance trough bank transfer or PayPal. I replied that it is unfair and didn't pay. I showed up the next day and they apparently didn't have my reservation, probably because the person handling bookings didn't pass it on to reception as I didn't pay. They had plenty of rooms anyway so I could occupy one. My advice: don't book it, just show up. They have tankless gas water heaters that are shared between several rooms. This is a uniquely Chilean insanity that needs to stop. Regulating water temperature is impossible in this setup and it is usually the cause of complaints about hot water all over the country. The upper floor is entirely made of wood, so sound insulation is bad.
