We loved everything about our stay from the very beginning. We arrived 2 hours prior the check in time and it was pouring rain, so we really appreciated when Jose Diogo had offered us early check-in free of charge. The view from the apartment is stunning, and a dining table is placed in a way that allows you fully enjoy it with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The apartment is lovely, it is relatively small but very well organised. Bathroom has good lightning (important for me) and everything you might need - shower gel and body lotion by La Roche Posay, dental kit, scissors, etc. Everyday cleaning is a nice bonus. The communication process with the owner was smooth and pleasant. The area is super nice with nice promenade along the ocean literally next to the door and with some nice restaurants and cafes in a walking distance. A bus stop from which you can take the bus number 500 and get directly to the city center is 2 min away. We had spent amazing 3 days in this apartment and wish we were staying longer.

Good location, sea view, fully equipped, really friendly host, generous kitchen stocking. Interior is eclectic but in an interesting and artistic way.

The apartment is truly an art gallery with everything you need for a short and longer stay. You are welcomed with nice beverages and Portuguese wines. I really liked the very close distance to the ocean and sound of the waves in the night. Apartment was very clean and maintained daily. Jose is a great host and the ocean view is amazing! If you have a scooter or a motorcycle you can park it in front of the apartment.

It might get a little loud in the night with the opened window but also you can close it and turn AC on. It's also a good option.

Comfort, location, daily room service, beautifully decorated apartment, treats in the fridge, fantastic hosts, view of the sea, proximity to many beaches, restaurants, art galleries, museums, supermarkets and beach bars, quiet/safe area etc Bus stops very close by to centre of Porto/Matoshinos.

Very well appointed apartment and welcoming host

Location, sea view, modern, well equipped

We were delighted with our choice. The apartment and it's wonderful location exceeded our expectations. 5* quality throughout. Our hosts Costa and Louis were so lovely. They were friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. However they were never intrusive and we appreciated all their thoughtfulness. We loved the artistic decor of the apartment and room service every day was a real treat. The location of the apartment is second to none. To see the sparkling ocean so close from morning to night was a tonic for the soul. The beaches are great and with many restaurants and beach bars only a stone's throw away we were spoilt for choice. The No. 500 bus runs past the door regularly all day and goes from Sao Bento to Matoshinos and back. It was so easy to travel into Porto from Foz. Foz is a gorgeous area and we felt very safe. We were never bothered by the sound of the traffic during the day and indeed it was surprisingly quiet at night time. All in all a great stay and we look forward to returning. Thank you Costa and Louis!

It was more then amazing, think of something and it was there. Towels sunscreen hair blower everything. Travelled a lot never saw this. Location perfect, host extremely kind and helpful. Definitely a recommendation I will go back!

Great place to stay in Porto, hosts are welcoming and apartment has everything you need.

The host was really nice and helpful, the flat is really cozy, clean and neat. You can find absolutely everything you might need, all the details are thought throught (there are even beach bag , beach towels, sun screen etc). Also, all the things are good quality (even shampoo, shower gel and body lotion were La Roche Posay, not some cheap stuff). And of course, the location is absolutely perfect.

Not a single detail was missing, all was perfect.

Jose is a fantastic host. He went above and beyond to make sure that the apartment was comfortable and in excellent shape. The apartment is spotless and decorated exquisitely with many details to discover in every corner. The best part about the stay is to wake up every day to the sound of the waves and enjoy your coffee in the comfort and warmth of the apartment while watching the coastal promenade and the seashore few steps away.

where to start! the place has absolutely everything you could need. And it is all wrapped up in a beautiful place, full of beautiful things to look at. we really felt looked after - from the generous welcome pack to daily cleaning as well as access to everything you could want and need in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. amazing attention to detail and all of it comes with a view of the sea.

there was nothing bad to say about the place. honestly.

fully furnished and nicely decorated flat with all required amenities for a short as well as long stay. the flat has a direct sea view and provides a cozy environment where we directly felt comfy. the flat is equipped with all you might need during a stay in Porto ( sun towels etc) Diogo is a great host and makes you feel like home. we definitely recommend the flat and are looking forward to return.

If you are looking for a small apartment with all you need to stay, ocean waves whispering under you window, and the most responsive host ever - I highly recommend this place! it was 15/10!

Jose designed this apartment with a lot of love and passion to details. Furniture, kitchen equipment, bathroom - all brand new. Despite of the road right in front of the apartment, it's very it is very quiet there and nothing disturbs sleep.

Wow. Such a lovely apartment. 10/10 for the decor. Very tasteful , an amazing attention to details. The apartment is perfect for a single traveller or a couple. The host was amazing, he waited for us until 4am as our flight was delayed. Not even one word of complaint. Super sweet person that cares about well being of the guests. Highly recommend

It’s a wonderful apartment, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Jose is an exceptional host and nothing is too much trouble. Sea views, great coffee machine, treats in the fridge, good local shops and fantastic beach bars nearby. Good bus service into Porto if you can tear yourself away!
