We had a great extended stay! Good location and great host! Will definitely be staying again!

This home was just what my family needed while visiting relatives in Venice. Mornings at the beach were wonderful, and relaxing in the pool while watching the sunset on the lake was the perfect way to end each day. The home is very comfortable, well equipped, and family-friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

In short, I cannot wait until we visit again. This property was perfect for my family. Everything was as described and the communication with the Owner was fantastic. Highly recommend choosing this property.

Property and home are well kept, and the home was well equipped. Included was a significant amount of beach equipment and kids beach toys which was very nice. The number of kids toys and games inside was also a nice surprise. Family/TV room was nice and bright with all windows looking out over the pool and lake, and comfortable seating to watch the 60" tv (also a nice touch). Heated pool was good to have as we had a few cooler days. Good location close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Owner was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful time for two weeks at this property. The pool area was heavenly- warm water and a pretty view! The home is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Looking forward to a future visit!

We had a great stay in Venice. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed for 2 weeks and wish we could have stayed longer. It is in a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and watching the birds etc on the lake. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice house on a dead end street overlooking a lake. Everything needed for a nice stay was there. Talked to the owner by phone and found him very nice to talk to. Had a great vacation.

Great location close to town and beaches. Great heated salt water pool overlooking lake! Relaxing and peaceful! Just what we were looking for!

Very clean spacious property in a residential area and only a short drive to the beaches. There is everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. From chairs etc for the beach to all requirements needed of a kitchen. The pool water was warm and welcoming after a day at the beach. The local wildlife is plentiful to watch all day long. The neighborhood is close to local supermarkets and not too far from Venice town for shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing stay for all ages.

My husband and I love staying here! We stayed here about the same time last year and it was just as wonderful. Excellent location. Beautiful home. Has every single thing you could possible want, and the owner is easy to communicate with! We look forward to being back next year! If you ever want to sell this house, give us a call! We love it!

Convenient to great beaches Home was spotless Enjoyed pool & view of canal

Spent a lovely week in the lanai watching wildlife in the lake, swimming in the pool, and visiting all our favorite beaches from this great home equipped with all the things such a visit might need. Very comfortable home made the stay most pleasant, only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was beautiful. Everything there we needed. Couldn't have asked for better. Would definitely do it again !!

Fantastic well equipped house in a quiet neighborhood directly to the lake with its amading variety of birds.

Lovely house on waterway. Tastefully decorated and everything you would need in the kitchen. Comfortable king size bed - lots of closet space. We enjoyed our stay and Jan was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again. Weather was a little cool to use the pool, but we did spend time on the patio.

Clean, convenient, comfortable!

This house was excellent. Very clean. Had everything you could possibly want. The owner was outstanding to work with, and the location was excellent. We loved sitting in the pool overlooking a lake. Serene and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again. We hated to leave! Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!

The key word here is 'quiet'. This is an excellent property for those who want to get away to a quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and easy to maneuver. The pool area is spacious and is accessible from the inside of the house and can easily be viewed from the inside of the house as well. Everything you need is there for the pool and beach. The split design of the house is great for families. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone, and I would definitely consider staying there when visiting the area in the future. I also enjoyed communicating with Jan and he was very accessible for any questions or concerns while I was staying there.

This was the nicest house we have ever rented. We were surprised how well equipped the house was. It was very comfortable for all. The outside amenities were great. Swimming and viewing nature right out back door. We would definetely recommend this and stay again if needed. Thank you for sharing.

This place is AWESOME! When we walked in the front door, my husband took one look and said, "The pictures we saw online don't do this place justice." As we wandered through the house from room to room, it just got better and better. The decor was beautiful, the furniture was very comfortable (especially the recliners!), there was every kitchen item you could think of, and we even found a fly swatter when we went looking for one! The pool is wonderful! It's great to have on days when the sun is iffy and you don't want to drag all your stuff to the beach. And having a sun and shade area was nice. We fed the birds (one snapped a french fry out of my fingers), and the turtles (and learned what a "soft-shell turtle" is). AND we saw an alligator making his way through the water! All in all, this was the best placed we've ever found in the city we love, and can't wait to make a return visit. It really was wonderful!! Nice property and owner easy to work with.

This was our second cycling holiday in Venice and we plan on returning again next year. The house was well equipped in every way from kitchen supplies to beach needs. The lanai and beautiful view provided a peaceful spot to start and end each day. Groceries, beaches, restaurants, trails, everything was very handy. During our 5 week stay we had friends and family spend some time with us. They all loved the house too. We explored the many beaches, cycled about 700 miles, prepared meals and tried many restaurants. A perfect holiday home. It could not have been better. Thank you Jan for being such a responsive and attentive host and for taking such good care of us and your lovely home.

We just got back from a 10day stay in Venice Gardens, on the Shamrock Lake. The house was great, we liked it very much. It is modern, clean, very comfortable and in an quiet location. We highly recommend this charming house for a get-away vacation.
