Location, and Experience. Easy to get to walks we wanted to do.

Kitchen small, Name didn't tie up with booki g name.

g location within the grounds of “Britain’s most scenic racecourse“. We were able to watch two electrical storms 100 miles away to the north and south AND see shooting stars from the Perseids meteor shower, on the same night. The rooms were clean, comfortable and simply decorated. The kitchen was small but serviceable and the two shower rooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Check in and out we're straightforward and privacy was excellent.

Only single beds (2 guests x 3 rooms). Fridge was underpowered - fresh milk did not last 2 days - and probably needs to be replaced. No dishwasher or washing machine probably limits the length of stay. Access to a car is essential for this property.

Very comfy beds and settees. Lovely outlook. 5 minutes from Hexham. Very warm and plenty of hot water.

Very small kitchen and lounge.

The location was amazing with perfect views, the lodge was lovely and warm with comfy beds. Had everything needed for a family stay
