This was a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The court and its grounds were impeccable. Smart, tidy, clean, and bright. We arrived and invited to walk on the red carpet leading up to the entrance. Admittedly, it was for the prom that was also going on, but that's beside the point! We had a room which had a double bed and an adjoining room with twin beds, so my friend and I had some privacy from each other. Rooms had a kettle, cups, tea bags, etc. each. Furthermore, the room, which was on the ground floor, had an open shower with no tray. For able bodied people, this might seem insignificant, but for us, it meant a fabulous, relaxing wash. We were offered a shower chair, but we were fine without. We opted for an evening meal (which you pre-order). Sean's skills are second to none - it was delicious. Still on the food - breakfast was cooked to request with additional cereal, fruit, croissants, pastries offered... all gorgeously presented. Now the staff... we can not tell you how warm and professional and cheerful they were. Nothing was too much bother. They really added to the stay and are a huge credit to Sean and his team. We would genuinely stay here again. And Kevin... we're still counting on our joint TV venture proposal of 'Binge and Whinge' to make our millions!

Excellent service, superb food for dinner and for breakfast, spotlessly clean.

In 35 years of staying in many hotels Hemswell Court has to be the best so far. The staff treated us like royalty. Breakfast and dinner in terms of both quality and presentation was par excellence.

It would be better if there is a cover in the shower to prevent the water from splashing outside.

Room was comfortable. Bathroom was on the small side. Shower worked but water could have been warmer. Breakfast was good.

A great venue - wonderful staff, outstanding food, in a lovely setting with great atmospheric furniture. So good I could live there. An excellent location for shopping at the local Hemswell antique centres. We need to find excuses to come back again.

Nothing. In no areas did it not meet or exceed my expectations.

Stunning venue. I was upgraded to the bridal suite, which was beautiful. Evening meal and breakfast were cooked to perfection. Plenty of choice. Staff were all super helpful. I was there for a work event and i'm considering hosting something here myself. I was very impressed.
