L'appartement est plein d'éléments architecturaux baroques. l'entrée mène à un salon qui se prolonge sur une grande cuisine-salle à manger. Les deux chambres doubles sont meublées avec grand soin, les deux salles de bain sont avec douche. Les chambres et la cuisine-salle à manger ont des balcons panoramiques avec des tables de bistrot. Les meubles coloniaux en bois de teck confèrent à l'appartement une atmosphère très charmante. Les matelas, draps et serviettes sont d'excellente qualité. Cuisine équipée avec plaques de cuisson, four, réfrigérateur, congélateur, grille-pain ...
Il est possible de se garer gratuitement à environ 200 mètres de la maison.
L'appartement est équipé de: climatisation / chauffage, internet wi-fi, TV LCD, lave-linge séchant, fer et planche à repasser, sèche-cheveux, ventilateurs de plafond ...
Sur demande, il est possible de mettre un lit bébé.

PALAZZO DEGLI OLIVI est un ancien bâtiment baroque avec des éléments Art Nouveau. A l'intérieur il y a les appartements: "EUFORBIA", "LOFT LA ROCCIA", "ARCHI E BALCONI", "LA TERRAZZA DEI GELSOMINI" et le studio "LA TERRAZZA SU MODICA".
Les trois étages résidentiels du bâtiment, reliés par un escalier intérieur, ont des entrées et des services indépendants, il est donc possible de vivre le "PALAZZO DEGLI OLIVI" à la fois comme une résidence unique, pleine d'air et de lumière, avec 7 chambres, 5 salles de bain, cinq balcons et deux grandes terrasses. Les deux comme cinq unités indépendantes qui accueillent respectivement: deux, trois, cinq, quatre et encore deux personnes.
La restauration a été conservatrice et écologique: tous les sols et murs sont en pierre Modica et toutes les pièces ont des pales de ventilateur de plafond pour permettre un refroidissement naturel et sain, limitant l'utilisation de climatiseurs, également présents.

We stayed for a longer period of time in the summer. The apartment is spacious, wonderfully restored and overall very beautiful. It was well equipped and in the Sicilian hot summer it was always pleasant and even cool. For someone wanting to explore this part of Sicily, the apartment is a perfect match.

Most perfect in every respect. We went to the area to look at its historical buildings, architecture, geography and ancient historical background. The apartment was most perfect in its location for this as was the town of Modica itself. A car hire meant we drove down from Catania and then had two weeks exploring. The beaches at Modica Marina and Ragusa Marina are superb for lazing about on and swimming. The train station on Modica gave another great way to travel about and experience the countryside. Most magical---- prehistoric Greek,Roman and Norman remains alongside the more recent post earthquake of 1693 rebuilding and urban development of Modica itself...... all inspiring as was the event in the Garibaldi Thetare we attended..Thank you....

A month in Balconies and Arches
We just left this beautiful apartment after being lucky enough to spend an entire month here. If you are coming for a stay in Modica (and you really should, it’s gorgeous and intriguing!) this place is perfect! It’s large, gorgeous, clean, updated, outfitted, and everything works beautifully. The location is fabulous - right in the center of town, but tucked back from the main street, on a short, cozy, curvy, picturesque lane. We always found parking in town very nearby. The people in Modica are warm and welcoming. We had a favorite cheese place, meat place, bread place, fruit and vegetables place, coffee place, bar, osteria, restaurant - on and on - and the shop owners and staff welcomed us and helped us learn the language. Rudia, the owner of the apartment is right there too, if you need anything. We highly recommend this large two bedroom, two full-bath apartment with a large eat-in kitchen, two living areas, dishwasher, wash machine three balconies and interior stone arches galore!

The only problem we had was with the Wi-fi, which was sporadic. However, for the most part, it functioned normally. Here, too, Rudia was on the phone each day until reached a technician who made a house call.
Location, location, location. It is right off Corso Umberto I, a real plus. The house is extremely nicely appointed. Much thought was invested into equipping it. My husband is a chef and was very impressed with the kitchen equipment and accessories. In the bathroom, thick, fluffy white towels make such a difference! We enjoyed our stay very much.
The photos are exactly as it is in “real life”. Enjoy yourselves in the palazzo!

We stayed at this property for six (6) months, while looking for a house to buy in Modica. So we know the house well. A traveler could not ask for more in our host, Rudia. She was quick to respond to any message. She has a local agent who is equally attentive.

Moldy elegance
Olivi's Palace is in an excellent location in Modica: near the famous Bonaiuto chocolate factory, the museum of chocolate and the main coffee shops and restaurants strip. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and the kind host provided all the comforts and made sure not to use scented detergents as requested...but unfortunately it was overwhelmingly moldy. It could not be fixed. The bedroom furniture smelled of mold inside, so much that we had to leave our clothes in our suitcases. We had to keep heat and fans on for all our stay to make it acceptable. The kitchen cabinets were strongly moldy, too. Unfortunately we can't give the place a higher score.

Very close to the centre of Modica and shops. Great apartment with attrative and comfortable furnishings. Three small balconies to watch the comings and goings in the street below. Thanks for the welcome goodies Rudia...chocolate excellent!Need to plan parking ahead of when needed as need to display parking permit between certain hours if not in a free parking space. These can be purchased from a number of shops particularly tobaconists...we got the hang of it. Good location to visit other places in SE Scicily.

A great holiday, a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful town. The apartment is good, well equipped, comfortable and near the main sites and good restaurants. You have to climb steps from the main street to access the apartment, so not really suitable for people with mobility problems.

Fantastic apartment, best location in Modica
Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. Excellent location, close to good restaurants, commerce and touristic attractions, but still very quiet (apart from a motorcycle going up or down the street sometimes, which is something to expect in Italy!). The communication with the owner has been always quick and very professional. We received a lot of information about the area, what to visit and where to eat. We came with a baby and the travel cot and high chair were provided at no extra cost. The apartment has its own individual entrance with a hall where we could leave the stroller (there are stairs up to the apartment from that hall). We are extremely satisfied with our choice and would no doubt come back to Modica and stay here again in the future!

Relax a Modica
Appartamento molto bello, ristrutturato bene, camere confortevoli, pulizia, climatizzazione. Situato in pieno centro di Modica bassa molto comodo per la passeggiata serale. Per il parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze a pagamento ma appena dopo la pasticceria Bonaiuto possibilità di parcheggio libero. Per 5 persone sarebbe stato meglio avere in cucina un frigorifero grande. Mancano tende alla finestra del soggiorno per evitare la luce al mattino in caso di utilizzo del divano letto. Nel complesso ottimo appartamento e buona ubicazione in palazzo d'epoca.
