HOME FROM HOME, EASY WALKING DISTANCE TO BARS, RESTAURANTS, SHOPS & THE BEACH.
Une superbe villa individuelle orientée plein sud dans le bas de Calahonda, juste à côté de l'église norvégienne dans un quartier très sûr et paisible, de jour comme de nuit. Idéalement situé juste sur la côte entre Fuengirola et Marbella, et il est normalement à seulement trente minutes en voiture de l'aéroport de Malaga.
Notre villa fait partie d'un petit nombre de villas individuelles dans cette urbanisation / communauté bien établie, beaucoup de ces propriétés ayant maintenant leur propre petite piscine. Heureusement pour nous, cela nous laisse avec une belle piscine de 12 mètres, sûre, bien entretenue et sérieusement sous-utilisée dans le grand jardin, qui est partagée par un petit nombre de propriétés!. La piscine est facilement accessible par notre porte de jardin et se trouve à moins de 20 mètres de la villa. Il est tout à fait normal que vous ayez un usage "unique" de la piscine même en haute saison!
La villa dispose d'un grand jardin en terrasse privé orienté plein sud qui donne directement sur la piscine et est idéal pour les bains de soleil, les barbecues et les repas à l'extérieur. Le jardin en terrasse est accessible depuis les portes-fenêtres du salon, la chambre principale et la cuisine. La propriété est en duplex, le niveau inférieur étant la terrasse et le grand salon et le niveau moyen est la salle à manger contemporaine avec ses propres portes-fenêtres donnant sur la petite terrasse orientée à l'ouest et la cuisine moderne entièrement équipée. Les trois grandes chambres sont au niveau supérieur. L'accès à la propriété se fait par la route via l'abri d'auto, en descendant un escalier extérieur vers la porte d'entrée et la terrasse, nous ne le recommandons donc pas car il convient aux personnes âgées, handicapées et en fauteuil roulant!
Une voiture de location n'est pas indispensable, mais elle est recommandée, mais il y a des bus réguliers pour Fuengirola et Marbella sur la route principale A7 à 10 ou 12 minutes à pied toutes les demi-heures. De nombreux restaurants, bars, supérettes, supermarchés, magasins, banques, pharmacie, centre médical, dentiste, gymnase, courts de tennis et le parcours de golf sont tous à 5 ou 10 minutes à pied de la propriété.
Il faut environ 15 minutes pour marcher jusqu'à la magnifique plage de Calahonda Luna.
Il faut environ 20 minutes pour marcher jusqu'à la marina de Cabapino.

PERTINENCE
La propriété n'est pas accessible aux fauteuils roulants. La disposition sur deux niveaux ne convient pas aux personnes âgées ou handicapées.
Cependant, il est adapté aux enfants (et un lit bébé est disponible sur demande)

Beaucoup trop pour être mentionnés, y compris localement, la nouvelle promenade de 5 km le long de la côte de Cabopino à La Cala, de nombreuses belles plages au drapeau bleu, des bars, des restaurants, des banques, des magasins, des parcs, des marinas, une salle de sport, des courts de tennis et certains des meilleurs terrains de golf en Espagne..

A beautiful villa, equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We loved the terrace with is dining area, sunbeds and lounge, and beautiful plants. The pool area is very nice and quiet, and though it is shared with a few other houses we often had it to ourselves. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, and the fridge with cold filtered water and ice was perfect. The grill was clean and worked perfectly.
Martine & Phill were helpful and replied to our inquiries immediately. During our stay we experienced no difficulties and did not need any help from Angela or John.

The property is in a convenient location, walking distance to shops, restaurants & beach…downhill going uphill coming back! For golfers there is a nine hole golf course just up the road with a lovely club house with great sea views and a good restaurant. There are courses nearby;La Cala & Cabopino were both excellent
The house is well equipped with comfortable beds and a pleasant lounge area. There is a great fridge in the kitchen with the bonus of an ice maker.
Outside there is a pretty terrace which is south facing where you can enjoy the sunshine even in February.

We loved our stay. Perfect for 2 couples and felt like we had a private pool almost everyday. Everything was explained before and checkin was perfect.
It is obviously a much loved home and had everything we needed including great air con, comfy beds and filtered water, perfect for the very hot days.
Angela was super helpful when we had a problem with the alarm.
It was a little further away from bars and restaurants than we thought however, the walk was easy and taxis and buses really easy to get to. It’s near to many of the famous resorts. We loved Mijas and a fab restaurant called el oceana, both recommended by the owner
It really had the wow factor and would return.

The villa had everything that you need and even small things in the kitchen were available which saved us money from buying
There are also cool boxes for the beach and umbrellas which are a godsend in August
The pool is excellent and although shared this was often empty or not busy.

We (2 adults, and 3 young people at 17, 21 and 23 years) just got back after 9 great days at Martine and Phil’s lovely and very well equipped holiday home - all you need for relaxing, the pool and cooking is there.
Very nice pool area which we almost had to your selves. Nice area, close to grocery shopping, restaurants, fitness, golf and outdoor paddle tennis - too hot for that though. A 25 min walk to the beach - nice for a morning walk. Very central for lots of nice places to visit. We did a guided tour at the Caminito del Rey - fantastic! Remember to book tickets in advance and arrive so you have time for the shuttle bus from the parking area + the 1.5 km walk to where the tour starts.
We highly recommend this place to stay and the hosts are very concerned and great communication.

We loved our stay at Phill & Martine's beautiful stunning homely villa! We cannot fault anything at all! It was our 1st holiday abroad since Covid struck & having stayed in the same area exactly 3 years ago we wanted a familiar holiday, the place we stayed last time wasn't coming up so we opted to stay here, & my goodness we were so happy we stumbled across this villa! & we will definitely be coming back! The villa is just perfect, very comfortable, peaceful & extremely private. We came at Christmas & New Year time for 12 nights, we were so lucky with the weather which was a bonus. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need at home, including a good washing machine & the fridge was amazing with filtered water & ice on tap & there is a beautiful lemon tree (which we "borrowed" a fresh lemon for our homemade sangria 😉) the bed is so comfortable, the TV has good channels & the sofas are very comfortable, the shower very powerful. It is about a 10 mins walk from a good bar & a string of restaurants, 5 mins drive to the supermarkets & close to nice tourist & local spots in the car but I believe the bus is good too. The "boardwalk" is about a 20 minutes walk to where if you like walking is stunning along the coast with good bars & restaurants along the way, bit of a hill back up "home" but plenty of places to have a rest on the way back up! (I'm just recovering from a back injury & learning to walk again properly & it was fine for me plus there's a good friendly pub at the top of the hill to look forward to! Haha) We would recommend here for a good night out, pool tables, sport on TV & very friendly (we spent our New Years Eve night, we felt like locals!) plus the Italian restaurant called Pepperoni was so good! Finally we would like to say a big thank you to Martine & Phill, they were excellent hosts from the start of our booking to the end when we got home, they helped with everything that we asked of them & we highly recommend this property & we will definitely be back when we visit the area again 😊

Exceptional Villa, in a fantastic location
Quite simply the best Villa we have stayed in. Phil and Martine have thought of everything to make sure you have a great holiday with all the comforts of home in a luxuriously appointed villa. They went out of their way to make sure we knew everything we needed to have a lovely time.
Wonderful garden and terrace with a superb, large, seldom used, swimming pool through a gate at the bottom of the garden. Very safe and secure. Location is excellent, lovely and quiet, yet a 5 minute stroll from bars and restaurants and just a 5 minute drive to the commercial centres with excellent supermarkets. Lots to do close by and only 15-20 minutes drive from Marbella and the delights of the old town. We loved it and cant' wait to go back.

RATHER SPECIAL VILLA TO MAKE FANTASTIC MEMORIES
Third time at this beautiful villa. I absolutely love this villa and feel so safe and comfortable as the couple that own it are always there at the end of the phone for any help or advice . Every time we go although it is a popular villa, it looks absolutely immaculate and a much loved property. The new gym is amazing as you can go through your daily exercise while watching your favorite television program,then out into the beautiful communal pool . We have only ever been joined once at pool , lovely and quit in well kept gardens . Back home and missing that immensely. The bedrooms are large with heavenly beds after a long day on the beach and taking in the great Tavernas, or a Barbecue and Drinks back at the villa. Having everything you could want to make a great meal to which we have made many ,the kitchen is spot on for utensils. Stunning lounge and Dining Room, Lounge having fire for cool nights should there be one. There is so many Adventures to be had in this area, you can walk to the buses with ease,so you don"t have the stress of driving should it bother you. Restaurants on the strip are extremely good visited 5 or 6 the Chinese is amazing and Italian Wow. Very tempted to go at Christmas as it sound so good by all accounts, the Lights and Shows are a real spectacle. BUT BETTER NOT, booked for this September and not told my better half yet hahahaha. Well cant leave all the money to the Children. SHOULD you try this Villa I hope you enjoy as much as Stephen and I. THANKS AGAIN MARTINE AND PHIL FOR YET AGAIN A GREAT REST AS WELL AS ADVENTURES. Beautiful villa 100% would recommend
We have just had an amazing holiday in this beautiful villa. The villa is spacious, modern and very well appointed. It has three bedrooms one en-suite and a separate shower room, beds extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and left us wanting for nothing. The living area is stylish and contemporary and takes you out onto a wonderful relaxing terrace with different seating areas for outdoor living and relaxation. Down a few steps is a large communal pool area which is lovely and very well maintained. Bars, restaurants shops and beach are a 10 - 15 minute walk. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had, really lovely people. We had an unforgettable time and hope to return soon.

Beautiful villa
We would like to thank Phill and Martine for allowing us to share their beautiful villa. There was loads of space for our party of 6. My children loved going to the pool everyday and it is a lot bigger than we imagined. The location is very quiet and relaxing. Restaurants and mini market are only 9 mins walk from the villa.It has been the most relaxing hoildays we have had. If we decide to holiday in Calahonda in the future we won't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks again Julie & gang.

Luxury Villa
We have just returned from our 2 week holiday spent at this beautiful villa, we cannot praise it enough. We are a family of 4 including 2 teenagers and the villa was superb, a home from home with lots of luxuries. Excellent WiFi, aircon, Sat TV, sound bar for playing your music, very comfy beds, coffee machine, wonderful outdoor seating area and fantastic pool which we virtually had to ourselves. Phill and Martine were a pleasure to deal with from the moment we booked until we returned from our holiday. There are great restaurants within a 10 minute walk, Tapavinos and Da Vinci our favourite (would recommend booking Tapavinos). Within a 20 minute drive you can visit Marbella, P.Banus and Mijas village is a must. We would thoroughly recommend this villa and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely villa in a beautiful setting
Lovely property that is so well looked after both inside and outside. All bedrooms were really comfortable with air conditioning, and it is very well equipped for eating both inside and out. We explored the area around Calahonda Malaga and Marbella and it was always a joy to come back to the villa and it's fabulous communal pool. Club de Sol is just around the corner so we enjoyed games of tennis and there are 2 excellent tapas bars within walking distance that we would highly recommend.

Amazing Villa
We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful villa. the villa is equipped with everything you require for your stay, although the pool is shared with other properties there was never anyone in it so it was like having your own personal pool. Calla Honda is very hilly so would not be good for people with walking difficulties, Oue age range was 21-55 we did not hire a car and managed OK. The beach over the blue bridge is nice however If you walk towards the marina the beach there called Cabopino beach is really lovely.
there are also lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance.

Truly Amazing Villa & Hosts !
We recently stayed at the villa for 12 days. It was simply perfect. The villa is in a great location in a quiet residential area with only a short walk to shops, many great restaurants (try Brogart's and the Jammy Olive,our favorites) and two grocery stores. We knew from the moment we arrived we had chosen something very special. The villa is very well appointed and there was nothing we needed that was not provided. The décor is modern yet comfortable, very welcoming with a hint of luxurious. The pride that Martine & Phill take in the entire property is very apparent. Travelling with 5 people the split level layout of the villa was also perfect, the living area is at the front which allowed early risers to enjoy beautiful sunny mornings on the very spacious and stunning patio overlooking the well maintained gardens and pool without disturbing those that like to sleep late. The kitchen had all amenities and we enjoyed cooking many meals in the comfort of the villa, which was relaxing after long days sightseeing. Martine & Phill were absolutely fantastic hosts. From the moment of our first inquiry they graciously answered all of our questions, provided step by step instructions for the booking and even contacted us once we had arrived to ensure everything was in order. Upon our return home the security deposit was refunded much faster than I had anticipated, which was one more assurance we had selected the right villa. Fabulous holiday in this lovely peaceful vila.
The villa more than lived up to our expectations. It was immaculately clean,very luxurious, light and airy and spacious.It is located in a very peaceful area of Calahonda but only a short walk to the pretty beach,cafes & shops..We enjoyed swimming in the lovely clean pool and chilling out in the garden whilst enjoying the views.Lots of places to visit in the area and the weather was pleasantly warm and sunny whilst we were there.Great to eat breakfast outside every morning.
We would definitely recommend this property.

amazing location and lovely property
We had a lovely 10days holiday with all the family. The villa is amazing location and well equipped with everything you need, the pool is great and the terrace and BBQ is lovely if your wanting a night in. Would advise you hire a car so you can go and visit all the beautiful Old Towns. Will 100% be back next year.

Excellent Villa!
We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in this spacious, luxurious, well equipped villa.
The owners - Martine and Phill - could not have been more helpful in arranging the booking and in providing a wealth of useful information to make our holiday most enjoyable.
The villa is well furnished, spotless and catered for our every need. Excellent showers, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, so much space to sunbathe on the terrace outside - and even access to UK television channels.
The 12 metre communal swimming pool is only a few yards away, and was seldom used by holidaymakers in the adjacent villas - it was effectively our own private pool!
The villa is situated in a lovely quiet residential neighbourhood, yet is only a 10-15 minute walk away from a good choice of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacy etc.
We cannot recommend this property enough! Excellent accommodation and excellent value!

Lovely villa perfect location
We have just had 10 perfect days staying in this lovely villa, the facilities and location had everything we wanted. We spent lazy afternoons by the pool, which was lovely and clean and the gardens were very pretty. We had barbecues on the Terrace which had all you need for relaxing over a glass or two. The villa is done very tasteful, and the kitchen is better equipped than home !
The location is great for beaches, pretty villages, busy resorts and people watching in little restaurants in old Marbella.
Martine and Phill are very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. We definitely will go back ...

Fantastic property for a relaxing chill-out holiday in the sun
From the initial enquiry about availability of the villa through to booking confirmation, and then during the period before we departed for Spain communication with the property owners was brilliant. Phone, email and WhatsApp messaging were all used to confirm everything we needed to know, and they provided us with great recommendations on local car hire, restaurants and ideas about things to do during our stay.
One is always slightly wary with booking accommodation based on just website photos and reviews, but we struck gold with this villa in Sitio de Calahonda.
The location is lovely in a quiet residential area, but with restaurants, bars and shopping within a 10 minute stroll.
The villa itself was gorgeous with very spacious living & dining area, three bedrooms with one having an en-suite bathroom, the main bath / shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. The private terrace was beautiful getting the sun pretty much all day, and we spent most of our week relaxing there. It also overlooks the shared pool area which is in a lovely garden setting and about a 50 yard walk from the villa back gate.
Internet access was reliable & quick, plus access to UK TV channels was a nice to have although we hardly watched any TV as outside most of the time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend it, particularly if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break. We'd have no hesitation in returning.

Wonderful family holiday in beautiful villa
We have recently returned from a wonderful 12 night stay in this fantastic villa in Calahonda! The villa has everything you need - and more - to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of Spain. The large private terrace, which overlooks the gardens and huge communal pool, is well equipped with sun loungers, a dining table, a barbecue and even a large sitting area with a welcoming awning to protect you from the heat of the midday sun. It is also a fabulous place to sit and watch the sun go down at the end of the day. The villa has excellent facilities and has everything you need, catering to all situations. The communal pool is definitely the best pool we have seen, with both a shallow and deep end. It is cleaned regularly and the grounds around it are shaded and well maintained.
The villa was decorated to a really high spec and its obvious the owners take real pride in its appearance. They were so accommodating and available to answer any queries. Our breakage deposit was quickly returned at the end of our stay.
The local beach and restaurants are within easy walking distance and this was very important to us as we went with our parents, as well as our grown-up children who wanted to go out in the evening. We also hired a car and visited the beautiful resorts of Estepona and Marbella, even venturing to Grenada and the Alhambra Palace.
All in all, a brilliant trip and we would certainly stay there again. Thanks, Phil and Martine, for the use of your wonderful Spanish home .

Villa is fabulous. Everything you could want for a holiday. Spotlessly clean.
Villa is very spacious. Furnished to a very high standard. Outdoor space is beautiful with plenty of space to sit or lie in the sun. Great BBQ too. Pool is very nice and sheared by small number of houses. Villa is up the hill from Calahonda. We didn't hire a car, it's a good walk but all five of us managed fine. Restaurants within walking distance all very good, especially Bogarts.

We spent a wonderful week in this fabulous villa as a family of six. The villa is super spacious with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped even better than our kitchen at home and on top you can use the gas barbecue on the patio.
The big communal pool is easily accessible by a few steps down through the garden door. Although we stayed at the villa at high season we almost always had the pool for ourselves.
The fabulous beaches of Costa del Sol are all within short (driving) distance. We also used the close Club del Sol for tennis, squash and gym.
The owners Martine and Phill are very kind and supportive and provide detailled infos which do not leave any questions open.
We very much enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this villa for holidays on Costa del Sol.

Beautiful Villa with lovely garden and pool.
We had such a relaxing time. The villa was spotless and everything there we needed. Lovely gardens with community pool, so tranquil and they were well maintained. Perfect holiday retreat. So many lovely restaurants to choose from, we also used the barbecue on the patio a couple of times, such fun.
We will definitely be there again.

Another 8 nts at this fabulous villa, this time tried the local restaurants amazing choice and quality. Villa looks so lovely now the blooms are out wouldn't change a thing. AMAZING!
My partner and I visited last week for 10 days, the villa was fantastic! Excellent facilities, great restaurants in walking distance and the communal pool was almost like a private pool!
