Amanda is great. The House was clean, well stocked and provided a great place for our stay. Beautiful setting. Amanda was very helpful and answered questions quickly. She even checked on us one evening when the weather was questionable and told us where to find flashlights Incase there was a power outage. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. House had plenty of room for our six person group. The beds were very comfortable and the living room/kitchen was a nice gathering area. There is a large deck and backyard that opens into the beach. Pretty area though it was too cold for us in the fall to test the water. There are some gnats (not biting), I guess from the woods and the water that come through the screens. We had a very nice stay.

Discovering Trenton and this wonderful house has made our favorite and most relaxing annual vacation to the Acadia area even better! The house is compact but has everything one could need and the location is beautiful, quiet, and a joy to return to after a day of exploring, hiking, or biking. Amanda the owner couldn’t be more responsive and her care for the house and love for the area shows in all of the details and amenities. An idyllic vacation!

We spent a week in august 2022 at the Bayside Getaway. Myself, my husband and three kids (13, 11 and 9) could not have imagined just how beautiful this home and property would be. The pictures on VRBO do not show off the true beauty! We had so much space to spread out with 5 beds and 3 baths. Even though the ocean water is much colder than we are used to, the beach was amazing. We walked and explored it every day finding sea urchins, star fish, sea glass, seashells, crabs galore and even a few flounder! This beach offers the most beautiful sunsets and we would enjoy them with a beachside fire each night and make s’mores with the kids! We all loved the swings under the deck and the hammock! We recommend renting a kayak and having it delivered to the house, was so much fun! The surrounding area is so gorgeous. There is endless amounts of activities to try. We hiked the Gorge Trail up to Cadillac Summit -spectacular. We also walked Ocean Path in Acadia and saw Thunder Hole, Sand Beach and Otter Cliffs! Bar Island was fun as well at low tide. And the food!!!! So much delicious food! Thank you Thaller family for the use of your gorgeous oceanfront property!

Everything you could want in a getaway vacation and more.

This was the best of all of the rent houses I’ve ever experienced! It’s a great house in a beautiful place with excellent accommodations! The wood interior sets the ambience and the decorations are perfect—the color coordinated book and rock stacks had me obsessed:) I loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs with my coffee and binoculars, watching the birds. This house is very kid friendly with a decorated children’s room, books, games, toys, and 2 swings in the yard! The beds were a tad firm for my and my husband’s tastes, but if you prefer a firm mattress then it will be perfect for you! The beach itself was also joy as I loved to explore the rocks and shells at different tide levels. I absolutely recommend this house. Enjoy your stay!

We really enjoyed our time our time at this property. Very easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Our kids enjoyed walking the beach and looking for shells just outside of the house. House was a good size for or family of five. We should have invited grandparents to join us as there would have been room for them as well. If we come back to Acadia we would surely stay again.

This property is the one to book. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Stayed with 3 couples - we each had our own bedroom and bathroom which was just awesome. The location is convenient to bar harbor village, Acadia, and a grocery store. And the view …. Spectacular water view! Coffee on the deck was so beautiful and relaxing. The house was immaculate. The kitchen had all the “little extras” you need. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Our host Amanda was so responsive to any questions and provided so much information about the property and the area in general. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Everything on VRBO was 100% accurate. The home was clean, updated, and everything we needed. Just 15 minutes from Trenton grocery stores, this home feels secluded with lots of privacy. The owners are very helpful and provided everything you need. The 30 minute trip to Bar Harbor was a little challenging driving home in the dark after drinks and dinner, but we loved this house. Watch out for deer!

Beautiful home and a great location when visiting Acadia National Park, and the Bar Harbor area.

We have been renting VRBO properties for nearly a decade. This has been the absolute best!! The property is extremely clean. Amanda is super nice and helpful and responds immediately! Is is safe and peaceful. It is obvious she has thought about her guests. She is super organized and has thought about just everything! It's great she is willing to share her vacation home. We were honored to be able to stay there.

My family had a wonderful time at Bayside Getaway. The house was very clean and the views were absolutely amazing. The pictures online did not do the property justice - it was both larger and nicer than what we were expecting. We really enjoyed exploring the beach. The kids found a bunch of starfish which was really exciting. The property is a little remote with a 10-15 minute drive to stores, restaurants, etc. However that worked out fine for us and got us away from the large crowds in Bar Harbor.

We loved the Bayside house. It was Fall and the views were perfect. We felt warm and cozy. The place was clean, and an easy scenic drive into Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Amanda's home was extremely comfortable, clean, charming and thoughtfully updated. The home is in a great quiet location; only a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The water views were wonderful to wake up to. It's clearly a well cared for and lovely family home - we're so grateful we found this gem of a stay!

Amanda's Bayside Getaway was the perfect place for us to relax and have easy access to Acadia National Park. We spent mornings in the park, afternoons in the hammock and evenings on the beach. Amanda was a great host and the house was everything we hoped it would be and more. Can't wait to come back.
