Spectacular view Monte Verde Lake &Wheeler Peak home on lakeside
«LakeHaven» est notre maison de montagne / lac située sur le lac Monte Verde avec une vue inestimable sur le Wheeler Peak et le lac. Un endroit merveilleux toute l'année pour se détendre et profiter de l'environnement. Vous pouvez vous adonner aux sports d’été ou d’hiver, faire de la randonnée, pêcher, faire du canoë ou tout simplement vous asseoir au coin du feu ou sur le pont et lire un bon livre. Quoi que vous choisissiez, ‘Lake Haven’ est l’endroit idéal pour se divertir. Le salon spacieux a une belle cheminée à une extrémité et une télévision à l'autre. La grande terrasse du salon donne sur le lac et les montagnes où vous pourrez vous détendre, siroter un café ou un chocolat chaud ou même dîner. Souvent, vous verrez défiler des cerfs, des wapitis, des dindes et d’autres espèces sauvages. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et dispose d'une table pour 4 où vous pouvez vous asseoir et souvent voir le cerf, le wapiti ou la dinde passer. La salle à manger peut accueillir 10 personnes et offre une vue magnifique sur la zone boisée située à gauche de notre propriété. Quatre des cinq chambres offrent une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et les montagnes. A l'étage principal se trouve la chambre principale avec un lit king size. De l'autre côté du couloir se trouve une petite chambre avec un lit jumeau. Il y a une salle de bain complète avec douche située à l'étage près des chambres. En bas a trois chambres (les deux chambres d'extrémité ont des lits queen size. Avec la chambre du milieu ayant un lit double avec un lit superposé jumeau sur le dessus et un lit jumeau spererate ainsi. Il y a aussi une buanderie entièrement équipée située en bas et une salle de bain complète avec baignoire / douche. Le garage a une table de ping-pong pour accueillir une compétition amicale. Les quatre roues motrices ne sont pas nécessaires, car nous avons une allée et des routes menant à la maison. Un accès rapide et facile à tout ce qui se trouve à Angel Fire, y compris la montagne de ski, est à environ 5 à 10 minutes en voiture. Monte Verde Lake est un lac privé avec de nombreuses activités. We had to leave within 2 hours as the septic was not working. It was around 5 PM when we discovered the problem. We had to relocate to a hotel & found another place to go to the following day. However, that meant over 24 hours of chaos with 2 small children. While the owner was helpful, this has made me realize rentals have major issues which are not easily solved.
Also, TV never worked.

We enjoyed our ski vacation in Angel Fire and coming home to this beautiful and cozy home! Was well appointed, having everything we needed. You’ll love the views of Wheeler Peak and it’s just a short drive to the resort. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Property is in a great location right off of the lake that is an easy walk even carrying fishing equipment. Large house with plenty of room for family and friends. Lots of wildlife in the area. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay. Got 20" of snow so that helped too. House overlooks the lake, which was frozen over and snow covered. Although house was fairly clean, there was trash under furniture and cobwebs in kitchen. Kitchen was fully stocked. Zero complaints. Owner was responsive to messages.

This was a perfect property for our needs. It's right outside of Angel Fire, so skiing is very accessible. The lake, while mostly frozen over at the time, is within shouting distance. It's also a great point if you're looking to visit the whole Enchanted Circle.
Everything was very fresh and clean. The kitchen is huge!
We made full use of the sleds and ping pong table which are included. We also saw plenty of deer and birds walk right up to the house, which was thrilling.
Overall, this was a fantastic spot to host our family with 6 adults and 2 kids

Beautiful views! We had a crow come visit every morning and knock on the window. My son loved the bunk house and the ping pong table.

Great trip to Angel Fire. House is just a short drive to everything and is well- appointed. Had everything and more to cook all week and was plenty of room for 2 families of 4. Kids enjoyed the bunk room with games and there were plenty of movies to watch after a day a skiing. Location on the lake is perfect for any season- very pretty! Would definitely stay again!

Old house
No gas grill,we had to bring our own. 3bedrooms on bottom floor. We had to go up and down the stairs to get to kitchen. The view was beautiful. There are 2 bedrooms on top floor. One of the bedrooms on top floor is as small as a closet no windows. We don’t thing it was worth the money we paid

Lori is a great host, 5 minutes from The mountain.
Lori was a great host. We didn’t have any problems. It snowed around 7-8” during our stay. The driveway was plowed before we left to snowboard that morning. I highly recommend this place for couples, family or big groups. Felt like home!

Wonderful Group Getaway!
My Group and I all had an amazing time here! This property has so much to offer whether you want to spend a cozy day in, or if you want to have an outdoor adventure this is the place to be. The property provides so many different amenities to where you'll yourself never having a dull moment. The Cabin itself is very cozy and fitted with enough beds for any group to be comfortable in. Lori is very helpful and quick to respond with any questions you may have in regards to your stay, overall I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back in the future!

We enjoyed walks around the lake, hikes in the snow, sledding, watching the deer, playing games around the big dinning room table, putting together puzzles on the table in the kitchen, preparing meals in the big kitchen and eating them around the big table and finishing each day sitting by the warm wood fire place.The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, staples, coffee and hot chocolate. Having a TV upstairs and downstair was nice. Not many house have a big table for eating together which we enjoyed. Wonderful stay
We loved lake haven. The cabin was immaculately clean, had everything we needed, and the location was beautiful. My kids loved seeing all the wildlife (deers, garden snakes, birds, otters, ducks, elk) from the deck. We had a great stay.

Mountain Lake
Our whole family enjoyed the cabin so much that we immediately scheduled a second visit. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the beds comfortable. We liked its being right on the lake. There was fishing gear in the garage. The kids enjoyed crayfishing. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the beds comfortable. Lori was so thoughtful. We hope to return.

Spring Break Fun before the Virus Shut Down
My family had an excellent time staying here. The home was conveniently located to stores, restaurants, and the ski resort. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and fun in the snow. Lori was wonderful and responded quickly to my messages. I will absolutely stay here again winter and summer. Thank you Lori!!!!

Perfect, if I'm in angel fire again I won't look to stay anywhere else.
We stayed with a large group including small kids. Location was perfect. Close to ski resort yet isolated enough to appreciate the views of the lake and mountains. Kids could sled on a slope just feet away from the house. House was clean and well equipped. Owner was a joy to work with. We all loved our stay.

Wonderful Friends Snowy Getaway
This property was perfect for 3 couples and children. The layout of the home was exactly what we needed. It’s amazingly insulated so we adults could stay up as loud as we wanted without waking sleeping kiddos! The fully stocked kitchen is large/open so very easy for everyone to move around without feeling congested. The men in our group made an incredible snow slide just on the side of the house that the kids spent hours on. So many laughs! So much love!

We enjoyed this house so much. Location is perfect, quick 5 minute drive to the Angel fire ski slopes. The house was everything we could of asked for and more. Great week end for my family
Loved this home and it’s beautiful setting on the lake. We had such a great time. Walked to the lake and loved going into town and having pizza at Pizza Stop. Home has everything we needed and very nicely decorated and furnished. Will happily rent again. Lots of fun and comfort.

Great place to stay in Angel Fire!
We loved our stay at Lake Haven's property in Angel Fire. The owners were communicative, provided great information on the area and made sure everything was perfect for our arrival! The house is a beautiful cabin right near the Monte Verde lake and we would see deer and other wildlife in the area every morning while we drank coffee on the porch. The area where the house is located is gorgeous! The house was well maintained with all the amenities we could ask for. If you are looking for a weekend getaway with a group of friends or your family, this place is perfect. 5 Stars!
