It is immaculate, exceptionally well equipped (fully functional kitchen, ample cleaning products, towels, washing machine, drying lines, AC, etc) and perfectly kept up. The landscaping and pool are gorgeous (daily maintenance), and the location is perfect (very quiet and peaceful but close enough to bike to restaurants and stores). The bed has a new mattress that is super comfortable. A plus: being able to use the pier. The owners are very responsive. No complaints whatsoever!

We loved the pool which was “crystal clear” and clean every day... and having the rental bikes parked and ready outside our cottage made our lives easy. We enjoyed the dock a few times (great spot to test your snorkeling gear before any excursions) which was a short walk (even shorter by bike!) from the cottage. The location was perfect for us... on the quiet end of the island by the airport (made arrival and departure so easy! Took a golf-car cab but is walking distance!) — yet a short bike ride to the center of Caye Caulker where shopping, restaurants and bars are..,.,5 min ride maybe? A few times we used a cab, especially if we were out later after dark or knew a rainstorm was coming ... just for convenience, not because we were afraid of the dark LOL. Just a great experience all around.. loved it here and this Velento property set the stage for a fantastic trip! “Go Slow” is the motto on this island and that was fine with us... we’re a bit older, and there was plenty of action for us (including all the snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing options to choose from plus the street food vendors, and restuarants and bars. If you’re still young and wild (lol), San Pedro takes it up a notch on the Caye just north of Caye Caulker and is a short boat ride away! Finally HUGE THANK YOU to ownership and staff for their professionalism, attention to details, and just for providing a wonderful living environment for our stay.

Kelsie and the rest of the VeLento staff were very kind and accommodating. The Sea Garden Cottage is clean, cozy, and private. The shared pool is also clean and has a great deck. We rented their bikes while we were there. We definitely recommend getting around the island by bike. The Sea Garden Cottage is conveniently situated and a short and fun bike ride away from local markets, restaurants and popular tourist hangouts.

This place is great, and the management company running it could not have made our stay any smoother. The house was scrupulously clean, really well-equipped, and the huge warm pool was awesome! Someone came to clean the pool EVERY DAY so it was in prime condition, and every time we needed anything it was taken care of. This was a little slice of heaven for us, and we would love to return. Thanks to Nazle and Don and everyone else who helped us have such a great stay.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. This is our second time visiting Caye Caulker and staying in the Sea Cottage. It was absolutely perfect for our visit with all the amenities we needed. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed morning and evening swims. We also took advantage of our bike rentals and rode all around the island. The location is perfect. It's on the quiet end of the island by the airport but everything is close in Caye Caulker. All in all a perfect week in Belize!

The house was really cool and clean! Nice little neighborhood, right next to the air strip which is convenient and a little noisy at the same time. Pool was nice and clean and the bikes were right there for us. Only complaint we had was the bed was pretty hard and an upgrade would do some good. Other than that we had a incredible time! Thanks again!

We love Caye Caulker and the locals are all very kind. Our. cottage was perfect for two. French bakery within walking distance, as is the beach. Getting into town you will need a bike or golf cart. We had bikes all week and it was great. Bring bug spray especially if sitting by pool.

Overall great stay. We had a little trouble getting the front grate to work on the first night but that is probably because we were drunk annoying Americans. Very clean place. Safe area. Staff was friendly and kept a good eye on us and kept us out of trouble:) Love the island and people. Want to live the rest of my life there.

The green cottage was clean and inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked and the shared pool was nice. This place is right next to the airport and a bit of a distance from the main drag but they provide bicycles which was nice.

From beginning to end everything was perfect. we were met at airport . helped with our bags. Checkin was smooth. And even helped us with getting a cart. The staff are great. House was very clean. couldn't ask for more. Thanks for a great stay.

Everything was perfect about this cottage for our family vacation on Caye Caulker... Great, quiet location near airstrip (not in operation while we were there). Size was fine for 3 adults, made use of the kitchen for cooking breakfasts, rented bikes to get wherever we wanted to go, took the kayaks all around both parts of the island, and enjoyed soaking in the pool in the evening... Great, friendly service from the staff, including Lionel. Couldn't have been happier!

If you're looking for a quiet place off the beaten path, the Sea Garden Cottage is perfect. It's a relatively short walk to the nearest grocery store and an easy (albeit longer) walk to town. The washing machine was a life saver. The cottage was clean, and the A/C worked well (which you will want). I would definitely stay here again if I return to Caye Caulker.

This is my fourth or fifth time staying in this cottage. I love staying here when it is available as everything is always in such great condition. Everything you need is here, ac works great, refrigerator is super cold, freeze makes ice and then having a washing machine is icing on the cake. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

This is a great little place away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still close enough to be in walking distance. The air conditioning was wonderful to escape from the midday heat! The property managers were great, delivering us cases of beer when we needed and there’s a lovely little pier with padded lounge chairs that you can go relax on. The only complaint we would have was that most every shore on the windward side of the island was choked with Saragossa Seaweed which as it rots emits a rotten egg smell which can wake you up in the middle of the night if you leave your windows open. From asking around we discovered that this phenomenon has been happening for the past 7 years or so and is steadily getting worse. Supposedly this happen every year between mid-February to Mid-April.

We had a wonderful week on Caye Caulker! We loved being on the South End away from all the “night life”. We rented bikes and used them everyday to explore the entire island. If you can believe it we canoed around the entire island of Caye Caulker too! We felt safe and right at home in our Sea Dream Cottage! I would have to say we were at one of the nicest places on the island!

Everything was very well appointed. We needed nothing except a few groceries (I recommend the gal on Front Street with the produce market. She has everything you'll need to make fresh salsa. Chips can be found at any of the many supermarkets). The property was well away from the night life in town, but just a short bicycle ride put's you right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. The locals are very friendly and glad to share their island with you. We had a very relaxing stay. Just what we needed.

Micheal the host is very friendly and explained all we need to know. We loved to use to deck at the beach. We did not use the pool. The cottage is wel sized. The AC needs some maintenance it makes a LOT of noise.
