Location is fantastic and rooms were very nice

Located right in the village, a few minutes walk to everything. Room was spotless, it is a bit small but we had no issues with that. Great shower and very comfy bed.

Great location and value for money for a last minute weekend away! We wanted a base for exploring south Kerry and The Ferry Boat was perfect! No breakfast provided but the recommendation for the pub down the road was excellent, we went back every morning!

The 2 single beds, as it was part of our honeymoon weekend... But we were desperate foe a place to sleep. Beggers cant be choosers... We made a plan to make it a double bed

The best part about the property was it's location to the ferry boats traveling to Skellig Michael.

This property wasn't expensive, which is good. It was dated has not been improved in years. We never met the staff. There was a late afternoon phone text indicating how to use the lock box to get the key to the room. Unfortunately travelling internationally we needed wifi to get messages. Had the message been sent the evening prior, we would have received it. Not knowing the situation, we tried several calls to the "staff", no one answered the phone and no one was present when we arrived. A guest, who arrived later, let us in and was eventually able to let us know what the situation was. There isn't much to do in the neighborhood in the fall, with only two resturants open.

It would have been cheaper to get a breakfast in the cafe on the quay which was open at 7.30 am

Directly across from the marina, perfect for restaurants/pubs on the main street, and taking the Skellig Michael tour the next day.

Our specific room’s bathroom was directly across the hall (no big deal), rooms are very cozy. On the host’s recommendation, I didn’t even try to bring in my larger suitcase.

Excellent water pressure on the shower, big beautiful white fluffy towels/ sheets, very comfortable firm bed. Clean and basic - everything you need Located walking distance to everything in town. Will definitely recommend to friends and would stay again! :)

Neighbours to our room came home after 1:30am turning on lights outside our room. It woke us up. The glass panel above the bedroom door needs to be painted black or blocked out.

Close to portmgee pier for skelligs tour

Call it a guest houseNever seen the host nor any staff. Keylock number sent to us couldn't. Quite noisy at night as you could hear every movement in other rooms

Bedroom small but comfortable, OK for the price

The bathroom was clean but could do with a bit of renovation - fan not working, shaving light not working and the shelf above the washbasin was impractical - so low that you had to stick your head under it to rinse etc. - a real nuisance Compared to the B&B we stayed in for the same price in Kenmare, this was a very big drop down in quality though still OK.
