There was no breakfast! We liked the privacy and modern look of our 2 BR house

We got billed twice for a one night stay

A perfect small diamond in Jaco city for valuable money. The location between sea and the crowded city street in its own garden full of life. 5 min to the beach, 5 min to the city. But you live in your own burble.

The location was very good, close to the shops and to the beach. The value for money was also good. The rooms were nice and clean. It seems that the hotel was recently renovated.

There was no place to put the soap in the shower. The rooms had nice big windows but no window screens.

Very nice garden and pool. Appartements are Co nicely eqipped. Great location in the city center but still quiet, close to the beach.

We did struggle to find the place. Maybe clearer instructions on how to find it might help.

The garden and swimming pool are very well taken care of. The place is very nice and secure.

They don't clean the room during your stay although on booking it states that it is included. They will only change the bedlinen and towels when you ask them too, which is good; but they do not even bother in checking if you need toilet paper or a clean up in the room in the meantime. The kitchenware was dirty. Except for the gardeners and security staff, the other staff we dealt with were not particularly friendly. They also charged us 20$ for the laundry service, which compared to other accommodations in Costa Rica, was extremely overpriced.

Bad lighting in rooms. Just glaring cool temperature overhead lights with no side table lamps. They were doing roof maintenance on our room when we arrived which was loud and distracting. Seemed odd that they gave us a room that needed maintenance since there were only two other guests at the hotel. Could have given us a different spot. Flimsy plastic table/chairs in room No little shampoos or conditioner Had to ask where the second bed was, (it is a concealed pullout) and for another blanket for that second bed. They also only gave us only one beach towel for two people. The room did not seem properly prepared for two guests. Our room was adjacent to a slightly sketchy feeling ally way. The rates had dropped significantly since we booked and I felt like they could have given us a lower rate when we arrived but they chose to keep the more expensive original price.

somehow I ended up paying more than quoted by Booking.com. I guess booking quoted in dollars, but they insisted on charging in CRC and converting to dollars with their rate. So I ended up paying more.
