great facilities, all what you need and a very unique place to stay

nice location attentive and friendly host

Troy,the host, was very accomadating. All are needs were supplied. The view was beautiful and included a huge rainbow.

Nothing.

Troy was an excellent host and met me at the gate/driveway. He took time to point out everything to me and show me around the property. The room was very comfortable and quiet. This is a good halfway point from the airport for a stay if you plan to go the Volcanic National Park.

I only wish that I could have stayed for a longer visit.

Troy was great! He anticipated all of our needs and made it so we didn't have to buy additional things once we got to the Island. The view everyday was amazing. The star gazing also amazing. We found places on the island we never would have found because of the location. The fact that it was on a part of the island that was not touristed was awesome. We found the location to be perfect for us. Troy's ATV tour was fun as well.

That I had to leave! I'm going to miss my ocean view forever!

This place was perfect for our family. confortable beds, two bedrooms, place to have dinner, all you need to go to the beach. Location was great, not far from volcano not far from beaches. Troy has good advices if you need it. we stayed one week here it was like at home. Aloha Troy, hope to come back soon !

Everything exceeded our expectations. The ATV trip from this location was by far the best excursion and value we've ever taken in Hawaii. That adventure alone was worth the entire trip. We loved that this place was perfect for island exploring. We prefer the quiet area where we were not awakened by garbage and delivery trucks like in the city. Great location if you are not looking for lots of noise, and night life. The Hot Tub under the stars was perfect to end our day. Lots of privacy. We loved using the beach gear, BBQ grill, supplied coffee, etc. Large rooms, very comfortable. We recommend spending at least several days here as there is so much to explore just within an hour drive in any direction from this location.

The only thing is we wished we had stayed longer. Definitely coming back here again.

Troy was lovely and and hospitable. He was kind and checked in on us to see if we needed supplies. he offered information on the sites and activities we wanted to do and provided us with great recommendations for local food

It is worth noting these rooms are built inside the garage. It gets very hot and we were unable to have windows open due to either bugs or strong winds damaging the blinds. There is no air con, just fans so it a bit stuffy. The shower is an outhouse so being bitten by mosquitos while showering in the evening was not great. The property is in a very remote area so I would suggest researching what activities you want to do and plan the stay according as we realised we were driving in excess of 3-4hrs a day to reach most of the popular activities and sites on the island

What a warm welcome by Troy - we got splendid tips and perfectly enjoyed the snorkeling gear, extra beach towels and cooler bag. The whirlpool surely was a blast!

Outdoor shower and scarcity of outdoor lighting upon late night arrivals

Location was perfect - half way between Kona and Volcano. It was immaculately clean! We came back late after a visit to Volcano and dinner with friends and the hot shower was wonderful and the bed was comfy.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The place is neat & tidy. They put so much effort to make it comfy & cosy. Beach equippment (chairs, goggles, ice+box, flippflops etc) were lent to us, which came in very handy. It is very thoughtful indeed to provide it for travellers. Although check-in was told to be till 9 PM, Troy waited for us much longer cause we could not make it by then.

The Host Troy was very friendly and helpul. The location is great, especially the hot tub.

Amazing place! Everything was super tidy and spacious, we had a wonderful breakfast on the front yard with an incredible view.
