Host MUST be contacted by phone not via text messaging or email, or he won't know of your check in intentions.

Nice building, I guess

The attitude of the owner is very bad. He made it sound like he waited for us, even though we arrived at the hour we agreed upon. There's no free parking near the building, we found the train station parking nearby. The owner charge us 30 euro for sheets, which was a immense amount for just some sheets to sleep on for one night. Was not clear if the pillows where clean or not, so we decided not to used them. You have to pay that amount when you arrive at the house. The apartment was filthy, the toilet was dirty with feces and in the the shower we found other people's hair. We didn't used it. There was no soap at the bathroom and when we asked for it, to wash our hands, the owner told us that this is not a hotel. His attitude and manners are not of a good host. By far, the worst place we booked in France.

Property has the facilities as shown in photos. Near train station and a 15 min walk to the old town.

Wifi wasn’t working and gladly told the host with photos, but host accused us for fiddling with the equipment. We ended up using our own data we bought. Check in requires calling the host 2 hours before. Linen and sheets are separate charges. When we booked the charges was €25 but when we were there they revised it to €30. We didn’t point out as we were afraid after the wifi issue

Location is nice, about 15min walk from the old town. Free parking available in streets nearby (300m). Quirky apartment. Nice and friendly host.

Not obvious that bedsheets and towels are extra when you book. The coffee machine was filthy. We visited during a heatwave and the apartment was quite hot - hard to sleep. Top floor with no lift - don't bring too much luggage. Then again, this was good value for money.

The host spoke English (if you never been to France you simply do not know how rare this is)

Again room on the last floor, No balcony, If you are a smoker every time you want to smoke you need to go to the outside and then climb all those stares again. No sheets. The host actually asked us to clean the room before we leave ....

The location is good.

This is an old appartement and on the last layer. We needed to spent one hour to clean an old appartement, even the dirty coffee machine which the last visitor didn’t clean it. It was difficult to clean the kitchen. The sponge is really dirty. And no mop and enough toilets paper. It is really not recommend to save a little money and finally you need to spend too much time to call and wait for the host, especially to clean an old appartement.

It is really near the city center (10-15 min walk). Very clean with Alsace style decoration.

All was very nice but there was no elevator (4th floor), it was not really a big deal for us.

A perfect place to stay - clean, comfortable, close to the historic center! We’ll definitely come back! The only disadvantage is that it’s situated on the forth floor and there’s no elevator - can be rather difficult for some people to carry suitcases, but for us it wasn’t a big problem.
