Convenient in town location
Situé sur la belle île de Beaver dans le lac Michigan. Profitez des magnifiques levers et couchers de soleil, de la randonnée, du canotage, de la pêche, du kayak et bien plus encore. Caché, mais juste en ville. Récemment rénové une chambre et demie chambres avec couchage supplémentaire dans la zone commune. Salle de bain accessible aux handicapés. Efficacité cuisine avec micro-ondes, four à convection, cafetière, réfrigérateur, vaisselle, etc. Linge de maison fourni. À distance de marche du port, des boutiques, des restaurants et de la plage publique. Notre galerie d'art est située sur le même site Internet que celui fourni.

Thank you for another wonderful stay-- so close to town, but when we heard that the Perseid meteor shower was visible, we laid on the deck by the front door and did some sky watching. We could see the milky way! The property is quiet and comfortable.

The layout of the house, bedroom and shower is a little odd, but had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. We were usually out adventuring around the island all day. The location is very convenient to town and more importantly....Daddy Frank's Ice Cream Shop!

My husband and I rented this property for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! Lois and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. The rental was the perfect size for just the two of us (but can also accommodate 2 more), and the location of the property made it an ideal "landing spot" as we explored the community, much of it within easy walking distance. I absolutely recommend this rental!

We had tried to look at the night sky from the south side of the island, but the clouds got on the way. The next night we laid on the deck of this property and could see meteors, satellites, and even the Milky Way! It’s a lovely location, and we enjoyed our time there.

The property was in a great, quiet location. It could use some repairs and updates, such as hooks for towels and brighter bathroom lighting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We were lucky enough to meet our host host and is a very thoughtful and kind person.

The spot is located right next to downtown. It’s absolutely perfect for a small family or two couples. You can walk to town - that’s how close it is to everything.

Lovely space for our family of four, very clean and well stocked! We walked to the beach and downtown and the ferry. We rented e-bikes for longer distance exploration. We would definitely return!

Lois' place was just as she listed. Even though there isn't a range stove, there was plenty there to make the kitchen useful to our family and extended family staying in other places to eat with us. Lois was empathetic and accommodating when a family emergency arose, and I appreciate that so much. We would love to stay at the Gallery again. It is a perfect location for us, as we visited the library, Donegal Bay, the campsite, and town often. Thank you, Lois, for everything!

Just two short blocks from the main street, across the street from a very nice public library, and three blocks to the beach, there is nothing to not like about the location, AND it's still very quiet.
The furnishings inside are sparse, but the basics like starter coffee, microwave popcorn, and an extra toilet paper roll were supplied.

Overall very good.
New or fairly new construction, only comment would be in favor of additional furnishings, such as end tables, TV trays, and perhaps a few flashlights. We understand Beaver Island has frequent power outages and we had one brief one and a couple of days later one that lasted for a few hours overnight.

This is an apartment located behind an art gallery. It is near the harbor, a couple of blocks off the main drag, set back off the road, with a lovely woods behind it. It was clean, quiet and spacious. An off-road bike path begins pretty much in front of the gallery. My only suggestion is that it would be good to have a few microwavable cooking dishes to prepare food in the microwave. It was a great place for our short stay.
