this hotel has really deteriorated. this was my 3rd stay in 5 years. It has gone from very nice to okay. the bed was still okay, but the shower door slides open while showering and the carpets down the hall have "pockets" in them where they have a drain or something underneath and i stumbled twice and twisted my ankle in the "hole." the breakfast isn't near what it used to be . the staff was sloppy and unprofessional. When i arrived, no one was at the desk - i waited maybe 5 mins - and a gal comes in with her to go food and sets it down on the counter and checks me in. wow.

Breakfast was awesome. Our room had microwave, real silverware and fridge, even a dishwasher! Very clean and comfortable

Wish it was closer to Irving convention center. Everything else was great!

Location was okay

Asked for multiple early check in requests with no response from hotel (emails and called). Arrived at hotel at 1:00pm was told no rooms available come back around 3:00pm (check in time) we came back at around 2:45 still no rooms available (parking lot basically empty) we waited in the lounge area with a few other guests and then watched someone check in who had came in behind us (not 3:00pm yet) and get a room so not a great start. First night (1:00am after getting back from Metallica show) a bug crawled across pillow (thought possible bed bug) but this is a pet friendly hotel and was a tick. Showed the front desk clerk and was moved to another room not ideal at 1:00am when ready to goto bed. No offer of reduced hotel stay (I didn’t ask) because I wanted to see if the hotel would make it right. We’re honors members who receive early check in and check outs so this was not an ideal stay for the price.

Rooms were too small and it felt like a tight space. Food wasn’t that good. But then a lot of hotels are going cheap on food items.
