Great place on Vashon Island. Home was in great shape. House was right on the water. It was very well supplied and easy to access. WE visited with our son, daughter-in-law and young grandson. Suzanne, the owner, was very accommodating. I would happily stay here again.

We were celebrating our sons birthday and this was the perfect place to do so! Great to have access to the water, kayaks, and sunrise.

The Magnolia Beachfront Home was a safe harbor during a really crazy time. The owners were able to accommodate our last-minute request to stay while repairs were made to our house. It was delightful to watch the duck swim by and the seals lounge on the swimming platform in the middle of the inlet. The house is a cozy little A-frame with all the amenities you need.

A fantastic property with amazing views. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The steps down didn’t put us off, although wouldn’t want to tackle them in winter conditions. Would highly recommend.

The house was super comfortable, with amazing views. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook for our weekend. As others have noted, there is a long, steep stairway from the parking spot to the front door. Not a problem for us but could be problematic if you're carrying a bunch of luggage or have limited mobility.

if I was younger and could climb 75 stairs 2-3 per day, I would stay here again. don't let that stop you - it was an excellent play to stay...summertime would be ideal. Oh, they don't have cable tv, and the 50 stations they do have pixeled in and out constantly. wifi is good (they DO have wifi - update your info) .....Overall I would stay here again if I was younger. thanks so much!!

Loved this place! Two friends and I stayed here for the weekend and we each said that we would come back with our families. The living area is spacious, the kitchen had everything we wanted, the rooms were clean, and we appreciated the flexible and smooth check in. The bedrooms are cozy, and the mattresses and pillows were very comfy. The outdoor dining table is a great touch. And the location is just perfection: Quiet, remote but close to the downtown shops, and so lovely. There are plenty of steep stairs down to the property, so stay vigilant and I recommend checking in before dark. They were fine for us, but would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. We were told we would have two parking spots, and although one was being used by an out of town neighbor, the owners' property managers next door were super friendly and helpful and it ended up being no problem. I sat outside both mornings and watched two of the most beautiful sunrises over the water that I've ever experienced.

Ever wonder what it would be like to have a waterfront home? This is it! This home has everything; SUP boards, kayaks, barbecue, windows galore and a fully stocked kitchen. We loved walking on the beach during low tide, chatting with friendly neighbors and just relaxing.

The most well stocked VBRO I have ever rented. Super clean. The steps are no joke. Neighbors super friendly.

An absolutely lovely beach house! It had everything we needed and wanted. We loved the front wall of windows to look out at the water, I definately could have sat there all day. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us, the bedrooms were so cute and cozy, although you do need to watch your head on the ceilings upstairs. The only downside to this property (for us) was the stairs down to the house. They are steep, and there is a lot of them, but we were fully aware and knew about them from the description the owners had. They wouldn't stop us from staying here again, but be cautious if you have an older person staying with you (My mom is in her 70's and was having a bit of a harder time) or have knee problems. If you are staying on the island, be sure to look into the ferry prices if you have to take them frequently to Tacoma, we were a little shocked the 1st ride... but they are fun and a great experience. Thank you for allowing us to experience the tranquility and relaxation of the Magnolia Beach house... next time I hope the weather cooperates and we can get the kayak and paddleboards out!

We loved our stay at Magnolia Beachfront House! It was the perfect place for a quiet & relaxing weekend. We had a wonderful time exploring the wineries, breweries, shops, and other things Vashon Island has to offer. Can't beat the gorgeous view of Puget Sound from the entire cottage! Very clean and well appointed. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

This property is well maintained, comfortable and very welcoming. We needed to do a lot of cooking for an event on Is. and the kitchen was very well stocked with very nice quality cookery things we needed. A 2nd fridge is very handy with older kids too! We love beach life and this home delivered! We hope to make this an annual retreat!

We lived staying here it was gorgeous and so relaxing. Appreciated the heads up about the stairs- they’re no joke but worth it to stay in such a great place.

Nice cozy, comfortable stay. Very well stocked with everything you could need and more. The view was just amazing. It rained most of our time there and we just loved it. This is a very healing place to stay if you're looking for that. Don't underestimate the stairs and it's something to keep in mind when you're packing but the owners do warn you and the stay is totally worth it.

Don't underestimate the stairs! Its a big three stories at least and some of them are very steep and tilted. But the house and view were worth it. We had a great time!

It could not have been better! I wanted a place for my family and I to have Thanksgiving away from home. It was so well equipped, that we wanted for nothing. Harbor seals and water fowl visited us, almost as if they were checking on the place. It was amazing!

This little home was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had a little Octoberfest Celebration with 2 other friends and it was just perfect. Cute cottage feel, great location and awesome neighbors. The hosts parents live next door and were so helpful and sweet. We will be adding this to our regular spots list for sure!

This was a return stay for us, having been there for Thanksgiving 2019. The view is splendid, the beds comfy, and the kitchen is well appointed! We didn't make use of the available kayaks and paddle boards, but there were PFD's aplenty and the water was like glass, so we wish we'd had time. The host communicates well, and his mom stopped by (they live next door) to make sure we had everything we need. If you have a problem with stairs this property isn't for you, otherwise it's highly recommended!

My wife & I went here for our 35th anniversary, and we had a fantastic time. It was clean, well-stocked with food and toys for inside and out. The neighbors were all fantastic and friendly, and we had a very relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable vacation. The amazing weather was a huge bonus, but would have loved the place in a storm just as much with the incredible view! Would highly reccomend!

Owner's parents located next door, and were super helpful. Loaned our daughters some shoes / sandals for walking in the Sound at low-tide.Long walk down the stairs to get to the cottage. Stairs have lighting, so wasn't an issue. Helpful to be in decent shape if staying here.Lots of houses on the Sound, so if looking for total seclusion, might not be for you. That said, we felt like we had plenty of privacy.

A good time was had by all at this beautiful location on Vashon. My grandchildren loved searching for sea glass when the tide was out. All were comfortable in this casual hospitable offering.

We had a wonderful time (on an unseasonably summery April weekend) celebrating my sister's birthdays. Kayaking, SUPing (a seal swam under my paddle board!)... The host's family lives next door which was very helpful. They started a fire in the fire-pit for us Saturday eve while we were out exploring the island and getting provisions for dinner. They also helped us when we were figuring out which Kayaks to use... it was a bit comical ("Do you want to try the adult kayaks?")... they were very kind. Beds were all very comfortable and clean. The view is stunning. The Loons at night were charming (if a little loud... Not complaining! We're originally from Minnesota and I don't think I've ever heard loons like this before). It all added up to a quick and easy escape that felt like really getting away... then we were home within an hour. I highly recommend for families and friends looking for a quick escape. Might have to come back with the kiddo.

Beautiful location. Great place to sit back and relax or there are plenty of fun things to do.
