A propos de ce maisonrental
Point Robinson Lighthouse - Keeper's Quarters B

Great combination of old but comfort. Looked and gave feeling of age and history but comfortable and clean and new in terms of appliances and bed. Breeze off the water was steady and wonderful. Caretaker is a very nice person and helpful.

Comfy historical retreat on a magical spot with Mount Tahoma in the background. We had the best time! The most relaxing spot for a much needed respite.

The light keepers house on the beach, with stunning views of the water and Mt Ranier, is cozy, and characterful. Compared to the other vacation rentals I found in Vashon, this one checked off all the boxes and was cheaper. If you can get it, take it!

Our family with young children loved staying at the quarters. The location on the beach can’t be beat, the views were spectacular, and the place was very neat and tidy. Would stay there again!

This was an incredibly relaxing and memorable place to stay! The home is beautifully maintained in the original character. Views of Mount Rainer from our bedroom and the front porch were breathtaking. We saw river otters feeding, eagles nesting in the tree on the property, and an orca swimming by right in front of us! Admittedly, we had warm weather and bright blue sky for our visit, but it was just heavenly.

Spent a wonderful long weekend so we could give a family member their first PNW experience… got to enjoy the water, wildlife, and ship traffic … and quiet!

Loved this place. Right on the water and lots of fun stuff to do in the area.

The property was beautiful. It was peaceful. We got to wake up to beautiful views and the sound of the water. We wish there was a stand-up shower as the sit down shower was awkward and not very satisfying.

My wife and our friends enjoyed our three day stay in Quarters B. The location is over the top perfect for anytime of year. We enjoyed being here in the quiet of winter and the lovely coziness of this historic home.
We had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep well and enjoy each others company. We brought cooking items we needed and were glad as there were no cooking oils and spices other than salt and pepper. We appreciated the bathroom being upstairs near the bedrooms and found the beds very comfortable.
We lucked out with a blue sky morning and views of Mt. Tahoma, enjoyed walking the beach and hiking up to see Oscar the Bird King. Being less than 20 minutes to restaurants and other shopping was very convenient. We found many nearby trails to enjoy as well.
This home is well loved and we appreciated the old charm with more modern comforts.

I have stayed at Quarters B multiple times and it is always such a relaxing and restorative experience. It is very comfortably appointed and the view is the best around. The addition of the troll up the road makes the location even better.

We arrived on December 27 to find the perfect little cottage complete with a charming Christmas tree. Everything we needed was here - plus tons of wildlife and the glorious beach. Oscar the Troll is magnificent but I did not realize he was going to be such a crowd draw - the upper parking lot is always crowded and muddy! But inside the quarters feels private.
The gate, which is locked after dark, is HEAVY and quite difficult to open and close by oneself, but it does ensure privacy at nighttime. Absolutely glorious little stay for me and teenage daughter, and we will return.

What a beautiful property! My partner and I really enjoyed the serene quiet atmosphere. Communication from the property management was top notch. The views are just unbeatable. We are already trying to plan a way to come back soon!

This is a beautifully restored historic home in a fantastic and beautiful setting. The home is very comfortable. If you have mobility issues it may be inconvenient that the single bathroom is upstairs and has a tub with handheld shower head.

Low key family time was perfect. Great porch sitting just looking over the sound with lots of marine mammal viewing and boat watching. Yard games and grilling. Town is 20 minutes away with awesome restaurants and great grocery store. Hiking and kayaking easy at hand. Lighthouse. Quarters B are like living museum to 1870’s. Quarters A are bigger with a fabulous picture windows on the bay. Loved every minute.

Overall had a great stay at the lighthouse. The home is admittedly old but it carries that charm from the 1850s and has been nicely updated. The location on the beach cannot be beat… quiet, beautiful, and with great views of the landscape and wildlife. The team was very receptive and made the rental process very simple.

Easy communication and house was clean and comfy. Only snafoo was gate was locked when our second car came down so we had to go drive to unlock it for them. We had been told it would be left unlocked, but not a huge hassle. Views of water and Mt Rainier were outstanding and house was well stocked. Definitely will be back.

Make sure to check for whale sightings in the West Seattle Blog to see if jPod is coming your way. We had a hell of a show!

Great Experience. We had a fun time on a very windy couple of days at Point Robinson. Great sitting space. Nice bathroom. Fine beds. Utilitarian kitchen. Lots of lovely ambiance. We had a great time beachcombing at a very low tide. Saw lots of crabs, shrimp, starfish, moonsnails, and orca! Lots of fun.

This is probably my Sixth or seventh time here. It is a wonderful place to be. The views of the Water, Mt. Rainier, and the Lighthouse can’t be beat. The wonderfully restored house that is staffed, cleaned, and helped by the “caretaker” provides a Sanctuary for all. Thank you again and again!

We had a great time. The space was so cute and decorated in the historic style. The view was beautiful and the house was right on the sound. We loved it and are planning to return.

There is something really magical about staying in this lovely historic property. The isolation and rocky coastline, filled with nature sounds and wildlife feel me with calm.

Had family staying on the island for an 80th birthday - this was such a great spot for the guest of honor to stay and the weather was beautiful so we had lots of space for guests to gather, eat, play games, visit and enjoy the amazing view. Thank you!

Although listed on VRBO all contact seemed to be with park service. We had no contact with property manager. Process went smoothly, there were no problems during our stay.

It's amazing to wake up to Mt. Rainier, and the sparkling puget sound just steps from your door! The caretaker, Mohssaine, is most accommodating and makes your stay even more enjoyable. I try to come back every year.

Perfection!
We couldn’t have asked for a better location as this! Very clean and well-equipped so we didn’t have to do anything but enjoy the beauty of the Puget Sound!

lovely property
We had such a nice stay at Pt. Robinson. The photos in VRBO do not do this property justice. It is booked solid though ,so, I guess there is no need to sell the place to anyone. The keeper next door was very friendly and helpful. He was able to answer any questions we had. The houses interior was freshly painted and very clean. Sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs looking at the moon over Mt. Ranier was our favorite part.

Unique, tranquil getaway right on Puget Sound
We loved our second trip to Point Robinson even more than the first! The location can't be beat, and the beautifully restored quarters make it feel like you've stepped back in time. It is an ideal place for a weekend escape.

Happy at the lighthouse
My adult son and I loved staying at the lighthouse keepers quarters. The beds were comfy. There were plentiful supplies. We loved using the little Weber cooker outside (there was a large one too). The water and moon views were incredibly lovely. Short beach and path walk to the lighthouse was great.

Beautiful location for our wedding
We rented both houses. The only negative I have to say is the shower with the claw foot tub was miserable! I’m only 5’7 and on my wedding day I had to struggle to shower before getting ready. By struggle I mean had to sit on my knees because the hand wand is only hand held and doesn’t reach very high. This makes for washing your body difficult and very difficult if you have long hair.
Seems like this would be any easy fix with a longer wand and the bracket to hold it up like a normal shower head.
Beautiful location and no other complaints!

Nothing like the beach.
We walk at Pt. Robinson regularly. It's full of natural beauty, seabirds, bleached driftwood, and of course, the lighthouse itself. Only caution is the single bathroom at the top of a steep stairway. Thankfully the railing is sturdy, but seniors & those with limited mobility should consider their capabilities. The larger unit."A" has another bathroom on the main level. The caretaker Mossaine is a delightfully helpful and kind man who's well worth inviting to dinner.

Quaint and Restful
Quarters B is a clean, lovely, and neatly furnished cottage. The view out on the water is beautiful and peaceful. The trip into town is short so it's easy to pick up any supplies or to go for a nice meal. There are short trails around the around that make for a great walk any time.
