I booked for two nights initially but ended up staying for eight nights. This place is an absolute gem! It’s right smack in the middle of the main tourism road but once you step inside the compound, you’ll be greeted with a homey and warm, island vibe. My room was clean, spacious and amply-fitted with multiple sockets and a working desk. There’s also a common kitchen with fridge, which to me is a very nice touch. Charming and peaceful, with lots of common and open spaces, Alpas is great value for money if you want to be at the heart of it all. The location, lovely staff and adequate facilities, sets it apart from all the other hostels in Gen Luna.

Out of the 4 resorts I stayed during my stay in siargao, i would have to say that Alpas was by far the best one to the point that I even wanted to extend just to stay there for one more night. I felt really at home in this place. The rooms, dorm, shower and toiler were very clean and well maintained. The staff and the people who were checked in were all amazing. No doubt I'll be staying here the next time I visit Siargao.

All the receptionists & the owner were great, very nice, hands-on and accommodating! The location is great too, very close to the bustling part of General Luna yet this place is a bit secluded and has its own privacy which we like.

Alpas is just amazing. Location is great, it looks even more beautiful than the pictures, and the vibe is very relaxing. 100% recommended!

Good location, basic but comfortable rooms, nice communal spaces. We had a private double which was fine. The communal areas were nice and relaxing and shared toilets and showers looked clean too.

Check in wasn't great, staff said we weren't booked initially then the wrong room key was given. Otherwise the staff were friendly when we saw them. Rooms are nice but very basic, no toiletries available. Next door has karaoke on most evenings which was quite loud

I love it when my trip to Sohoton Cove is prearranged perfectly. Very responsive staff attending to every of our request. Spacious bunk bed with spacious bed and individual luggage storage area. Friendly common areas to mingle and hang out with people in the hostel.

Maybe the bathroom - they try hard to maintain it but it's kind of wet all the time. There should be a way, like a fan or ventilator to make it dry and not so wet along the hallway (also before the washroom sink). The fans installed in the high section of the wall kept blowing curtains on the bunk bed and they often distracted my sleep - my face and eyes was being tickled multiple times by moving curtains and it's quite bothering. I can't fix the curtains to let it stop moving.

Staff is amazing, place is really cool and clean. Location close to main restaurants and just walk distance to the beach. I rent the bike troughs them and everything was really easy. Salamat.

my reservation was for 8 beds room that it turn out to be a 10 dorms. Mattress was really good however the bunk bed are really uncomfortable at least the upper one. Air condition good but fan really noisy. Bathroom are downstairs so it is not the most convenient. It is a bit pricy for what you get, despite the place is really fancy, it is not worth for a hostel. I arrived to the hostel at 7am and even having bed empties, I paid almost half of the night price to sleep after whole night flying.

I loved the location and layout of Alpas. The trendy artwork, the very clean facilities and the people were all lovely. The best place in all of general luna by far!

There's nothing that I would have changed. This location is perfect, the facilities and shared areas were spotless. And the social aspect of Alpas was perfect!

The location was perfect, just in the Main Street. The room and the bathroom are spacious. Also the common areas are great

The hospitality of the host was poor. We did feel welcome and she didn’t solve our requeriment. She only was there collecting the money and the key but she didn’t assist us with tips and scooter rental. Also, the water pression was owful.

It’s location is convenient. Near restos and cafes. There are atms and laundry place nearby.

It was in a great location near the restaurants and bars. Super friendly staff who are very helpful. Useful to be able to hire a moped there. Great communal area to chill within a beautiful garden. Room was nice!

The room was a little damp and mouldy in places in the bathroom but this may be due to the very wet climate at this time of year! A mosquito net might be useful to have as there are lots at night! The Kareoke bar next door can be quite loud in the evening! Price was a little high compared to other places in the area but we did book last minute.

The property is located on a very busy street, however, as soon as you walk in you feel like you have escaped the business. They were fully booked when I was there, however it never felt like it. You don’t see other people; and it’s overall a very quiet place. lots of seating to relax in between all the green. i stayed in the dorm and never had any issues with noise or having to wait to shower. the best stay I’ve had so far in the Philippines. the owner is around most of the day, knows everyones names and make sure everyone is happy.

probably the worst stay in the Philippines for me. for one everything around this place including alpas is under construction so you’re surrounding by noise from 7 am until late. my room was entered several times a day by maintenance without any reason even after I said I was not fine with it. you don’t get good value for money at all and in the end even my airport pick up was messed up with those people who charge you more btw I cannot recommend this place to anybody

Affordable, authentic, has a vibrant common space to make friends with fellow guests. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, shops, and other major attractions. Has the most hospitable receptionist who does her best to provide excellent customer service.

Not the fault of the establishment but it is located right beside a house or building undergoing carpentry works so expect to hear the sounds of hammers and drillers during daytime. At night, being at the center of attractions, there are people partying up to the wee hours. Not an ideal place for rest.

Amazing accommodation in the centre of general Luna, perfect for any type of activities to explore Siargao. The rooms are very clean and have a nice interior. There is also a kitchen and a chill area for everyone to use, which is very useful. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Only disadvantage is that it gets a bit noisy around nighttime because of the bars nearby. Anyways I would definitely recommend staying at alpas! Thank you for everything

Location is great, close to restaurants & there is a moped rental in front of the hotel. The little terrace & the common area were lovely. They organised the Airport Transport for us.

It felt like we slept in a logcottage. Noisy, windy and the beds are old, you can feel the indentation in the mattress. The furnishing was really minimalistic, no wardrobe, no hangers, no hooks, no floor towel,no hand towel.
