We liked this property and location so much we rented it again! Beachside once again did a great job and made everything so easy. From check in to check out they have it all covered. The house was perfect for our family with the number of bedrooms and en-suites. It was also great to have the pool which was very private. It came with all the amenities and Beachside provides information on renting everything from bikes to beach umbrellas. The area is beautiful and you can bike or walk most places. The beach is great for bike riding or walking. We will definitely rent through Beachside again. Quinn checked in with us a few times to make sure all was well. I would highly recommend this! We were so excited to have a large spacious home to get quality time together. We played games, had great meals around both the indoor & outdoor table. With napping children, it was great to have direct access to the beach & we loved the pool. Only downside was the broken hot tub, but were appreciative of the credit they gave us. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful oceanfront home. Well stocked kitchen with lots of appliances, dishes, etc. Wonderful decks on two levels with marvelous ocean views. Plenty of spaces for being together or quiet time alone. A very enjoyable experience.

Great location, easy access to the beach and ocean. Property management kept checking and making sure our needs were met. The property itself needs some updates, maybe new mattresses, if you like hard mattress to sleep on then that will be fine. Maybe the carpet needs a deep cleaning or changed, but overall it is a good property.

The general repair of this property is in desperate need! And the photos you show on the website are really not accurate in terms of what condition the place is in. Black mold, smell of moth balls ( what critter are you trying to keep away!) grounds in horrible repair and garbage everywhere around the pool. This property costs way too much for the condition it was in. No oft should stay there u til some major details are repaired or it is an accident waiting to happen.

This house is in a perfect location. Everything we wanted. Beachside Getaway did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. They were great to work with and this property was great

The home was not well kept. We found cockroaches multiple times and the house was super cold when we got there. Besides that, the location and proximity to the ocean was fantastic. The pool was very useful for kids. Overall a good vacation. Will do this again but probably in a different home.

The house has a great layout when having primarily adult attendees. All 6 bedroom have their own private bathroom and 4 of the bedrooms have king/queen beds. The other 2 bedrooms work well for kids in that they have either 2 single beds or 2 full beds. Access to the beach is great and shopping is nearby in easy walking distance.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, we had to change plans at the last minute. Beachside was excellent in helping us find and reserve a place that worked for our family (four groups). They stayed in contact while we were there, making sure that everything was in order. We certainly plan to use them again in the future. 5-Stars is certainly an appropriate rating.

We loved the house and amazing views from the home and balcony which was great for my mom since it’s difficult for her to get to the beach. The upstairs bedroom with window air conditioner could have been more comfortable.

ENDED UP CHANGING HOUSES AND ENJOYED OUR STAY. We moved to another house since the first house was in need of extensive cleaning and updating. We had to put sheets on the couch because it was so soiled. Beachside getaway was fantastic in making us happy.

Home was not the quality we expected for what we paid in comparison to other homes we’ve rented

Overall, we all loved it. It was spacious and clean. Beautiful location, and super close to beach. The outside could use a little extra care, but we were there at the end of July. The only complaint is that the hot tub only work the first night very briefly. But this really didn't take much away in July. Great place, easy to work with management. We would definitely consider it again. Thanks

We had 13 adults in our family stay for a reunion, including my older parents. The house was terrific - great view of the ocean from the deck table and chairs, plenty of space, easy walk down the path the ocean, well-designed to not be too loud/"echo-y" inside (a problem we've had with a previous HH home). The management company was super responsive when we had a couple of small requests (eg. needed a couple of pillow cases). Only things to be aware of 1) there truly is parking for only 4 cars - we had 5 and managed it, but it was quite difficult; 2) some step issues - there is a sunken living room with a step or two down that folks kept tripping down + a portion of the steps to the pool with no hand rail that we had 2 people fall down (maybe we are a little extra clumsy!). But overall we give this house a solid "wow".

We just returned from a week stay at this home. Because of our autistic 17 year old we always rent homes for vacations and this wasn't our first by far. This was our best though. I'm the type that labors of deciding where to rent and fears making a bad choice. What a relief with 21 Heron. Having never been to HH Island I did research and loved this location. The home is about 1/5 mile from the public beach, stores, shops, eateries... This was perfect for making it a 5 minute walk yet far enough to keep the public annoyances from infringing on our beach area. Our group consisted of 9 people- 3 adults 6 teenagers. We cooked some meals and went out for others. The kitchen was fully functional and stocked pretty good with items needed to cook with. We didn't grill but it looked fine. The outside was great- the pool was clean and nice and the hot tub as well. The beach is an easy 30 foot walk. There is covered parking for two and space for 2 more. Interior- the rooms were all nice and the baths clean and not scuzzy (yes that's the term I used). One review read of odors which we didn't encounter. The home was near to our own in terms of cleanliness. The washer and dryer were used and found to be in great shape. The rooms are in different areas and some down private halls which was a bonus for our teenagers. There is a number of different stairs (some have 2,3,5,8 steps) so I wouldn't recommend it for those disabilities. So as not to make this seem a fake review I will nitpick. One window didn't shut well and I pointed it out to the rental firm. The A/C in the master wasn't working at all (all other rooms were perfect) but Im sure they will fix it. A few boards are a bit loose on the deck but didn't bother us. All homes have some maintenance issues, which this one does, but they weren't of the order that they would really impact on us. Over all this was a pleasant experience. We all even commented that his was the best we've seen. My wife can be quite picky and she liked this one That many beds and baths ON the beach so close to amenities for the price we paid- Fantastic. I wish I could leave my cell number for anyone that is undecided. WE rented from Beachside Getaways and they were fantastic as well. On Saturday I told them the swing had broke and their man fixed it the next day which was a Sunday.

The entire house smelled of cat urine, it was unmistakable. When we notified the rental company they acted as if they could not smell it, which was ridiculous as every person that arrived for our family vacation mentioned the strong smell upon entering the home. They did after several days of our complaining send someone out to clean the floors, the man said that there is no way cleaning the floors would get a smell like that out and the floors would likely need be replaced. The rental company continued to make excuses. In addition the hot tub was an absolute mess, and the home looked as if it had never been cleaned, the first thing we ended up doing for our vacation was cleaning. Some of windows were dry rotted so we weren't even able to air to horrible smell out well. Honestly the worst house we've ever rented. We visit the island every year, and will be sure to book elsewhere for the future.
