Overpriced. Building needs an upgrade. No breakfast included.

The pool looks nothing like the picture .it’s closed and in a car park. It was like staying in a hostel.

Location of the hotel allows one to venture out to see all the markets, restaurants and shops around the area. Ate a delicious causa at their restaurant. Emmanuel? (maybe sounds like) a staff at the hotel is an great asset to the hotel. He was helpful and kind throughout my stay. I appreciated the friendship. The room was super clean with a good heating system. Security is great too. Barranca isn't a tourist town though. Loved the location strolling for hours every day and enjoying the seafood too. I also appreciated the staff for finding a nice quiet room for me in the back. I feel this hotel is the best option in this part of Peru.

After a week in the mountains, we were really looking forward to a clean, comfortable bed and a nice, hot shower. Hotel Chavin to the rescue! We got quiet along with that when the staff was kind enough to move us from the Las Vegas strip out front to the back of the hotel. Also, the exceptionally friendly service from Anna and team was a huge bonus. It's not often that you get full body hugs from the staff at departure. :)

We only checked in for one night to head up north early morning. Hotel was clean and everything as expected.

the property is to old looks like still in the 90’s and for the price for the night I was expecting more but it was not what I was expecting

Close to everything! Many restaurants and shops nearby. Staff was very attentive. Rooms were very clean.

Rooms have one full size bed or 2 twin size beds. Time to update the bedding.
