A brief stay was everything we had hoped for. Great location, comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, dining area, and living room. A reasonable price for a location one block from restaurants and hip clothing stores and a short jaunt to the beach. We'll definitely return.

we had a great stay. The location was amazing and the place was spacious and beautifully appointed. We loved spending time on the patio. Very easy communication with host and everything we needed for a great week. Close to many restaurants and easy walk to beach. Had a car with us but easily could have done without. looking forward to the next trip! Street parking was surprisingly very easy too!

Highly recommend! This historic home was the highlight of our trip. Perfectly located, a short walking distance from the beach, bike rentals, restaurants and other businesses on Main St. Plenty of parking on street. The house was well equipped, on a very quiet and quaint neighborhood. The host was lovely and helpful. Hoping to rent again!

This was 1150 the perfect place for us. We did not want to do a lot of sightseeing or tourist things. We just wanted to enjoy the beach.
Although sightseeing is very possible from this location.
Instead of putting our money in a car rental, we used an Uber if things were too far to walk to. And we spent less money using Uber than if we had used a car rental.
We did walk to Santa Monica pier and had lunch a couple days.
Our favorite place to sit was at Perry’s beach & rentals, at 2600 ocean Blvd..
Beautiful outdoor seating with wind break plexiglass to sit behind if the wind got too cold. And they even lit the propane heaters for us. They also had delicious food and drinks.

We had a great time in the LA area and we could not have picked a better location to see everything we wanted to see! Home was very clean and the right size for us. Street parking was not a problem to find. Devon was great with communication and checking with us to see if we needed anything. We recommend this VRBO!

The apt. was very neat, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. It’s on a quiet street that is very close to the beach. I highly recommend staying here!

Property was perfect for 3 sister hangout weekend. Got a chance to check out great seafood spot and wine (Crudo e Nudo) one night and cook-in another. Had all the kitchen amenities for breakfasts and one dinner. Both beds and sofa bed were comfortable. Bathroom very functional. A lot of bedding. Cute backyard for hanging out. Overall, a great find.

House was great and clean. Good location 5-10 min from beach, depending on traffic. Food recommendations could be nice, had no idea 🙃. Bathroom quite small and blinds were see through at night, kinda scary when dont know the area. People above wake up very early. Overall, had great time and know nothing is perfect, just feedback. Thank you so much!!!

The unit and location are great! Beach, sites, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is cool and quiet with historic homes. The bike path and street lanes are good allowing you to get to places quickly, like the Whole Foods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We stayed here for the last three days of a nine-night trip to California and it was the best part of our trip. The house was beautiful and the location could not have been better. So close to the beach, the pier, and major roads to get to other parts of town, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. All the furniture was comfortable. Having separate bedrooms for us and our teenage son instead of being crammed into a hotel room made it feel like being at home. Devon was awesome - gave us all the info we needed ahead of time, checked in on us via text after we arrived, and thought of absolutely everything in furnishing and equipping the house. The beach towels, chairs, and umbrella came in especially handy. We've said every single day since we've been home how much we want to go back.

Lovely quiet 2 bed apartment, one of 3 converted apartments in house on a quiet residential street which is a short walking distance to the beach, Santa Monica and Venice beach.
All amenities needed in kitchen and comfortable beds. Highly recommended, would happily stay again if visiting the area.

Rental was absolutely spotless. Home was comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. Neighborhood is beautiful and felt safe. Location was ideal for walking to beach and Main Street. Owner made sure we had all we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here while in Santa Monica to see family and celebrate New Years. Highly recommended. The 2 BR ground floor unit (one of three in a historic house) is cozy, clean and comfortable, well-equipped and very well maintained. We appreciated the fully functional kitchen, as we like to prepare some meals in, despite the excellent restaurants in the area, which we also took full advantage of! The location is ideal… just a few blocks to Main St. and the beach, yet walkable to groceries and other services. Street parking can be a challenge at times, but a visitors’s parking permit is available, so it was manageable. Devon, our host, was wonderful - extremely helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are already planning our next visit!

My husband, daughter, and I went to visit my family just before Christmas and found this place to rent. It was very nice - clean, equipped, easy parking, and clear directions and communication throughout my time there. Highly recommend!

Devon does a great job. The rental was very clean, exactly as discribed in the offer. So nice and cozy. Felt like home from the very first minute. Any question has been answered within the hour. A very nice neighborhood. Parking sounds a little complicated, but it is not. We'd definitely stay there again.

I have nothing but good things to say about our visit. I met a friend in Santa Monica to attend a concert. Parking was easy. Getting the key for entry was easy. The place was immaculate, comfortable, homey, just perfect. Devon, the owner, was very nice to deal with. I'd definitely go back!

I stayed for a full 7 days, it was a great property. Safe neighborhood, beautiful historic area, centrally located for everything we needed. Property manager was super helpful and communicated very well throughout the stay. Very clean, property as advertised in the pics.

Wonderful girlfriend getaway! HIGHLY recommend booking when visiting Santa Monica and/or Venice ... SUPER location to walk everywhere. Once we arrived, we never used our car. It's also an excellent central location to explore many other wonderful places up and down the coast. The owner is SO fabulous with amazing communication! The history behind this beautiful home makes it even more intriguing. The owner mentioned that they are installing a larger shower in October. The beds were very comfy ... the cottage has so much attention to details ... the whole place was comfy with a classy beachy vibe. Highly recommend! THANK YOU for everything! :-))

Best Stay in Santa Monica
First of all, let me begin by saying I frequently stay in Santa Monica and now I will never stay anywhere else. The location, price, and accommodations were perfect. The rental is in a well-known historic district and has been thoughtfully renovated. There is a lovely garden view and serene outdoor patio. Every bit of space has been perfectly utilized. Attention to detail and space design is evident. The small bathroom has a fresh design and even a laundry center. The bedrooms and living area have ample space to relax. The kitchen was well stocked and everything seemed new. Communication with the host was a breeze. I can honestly stay this will be my new home away from home.

The place was super cute and exactly as pictured. Had everything we needed and was clean. The only negatives, if I just had to post something for authenticity sake…the shower is teeny. If you’re a big or tall person, prepare to contort a bit. But the water pressure was divine :). And the walking sounds above can be irritating because it’s an older home.
It’s a short walk to two very popular beaches and 5 minutes from a really really good coffee spot!
Communication with the owner was a breeze.
Definitely a rent-again for us.
