To begin with, the villa is spectacular, from the location, the distribution, the details of the entire house, the pool, etc., cleaning ... without forgetting the very good treatment of the host Gary who informed us in detail of everything and quickly answered all our queries. Gary again thank you very much for everything, it was a great rest days and we were delighted. We look forward to repeating.

Just back from a week’s holiday in this great villa. Dined at some very good restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoyed relaxing in the pretty garden and cooling off in the large, inviting pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous villa. The outside area was spacious with plenty of room for sunbathing. It had a fabulous pool and a relaxing hot tub. The villa was spotless and well equipped. We would definitely recommend the villa to family and friends and would return in a heartbeat.

Was impressed with the lovely touch of the welcome pack which is a great idea if you are on a late flight. Clive was very efficient collecting us from the airport. Ever read reviews before car essential,car required,not here everything on your doorstep, so close to beach, supermarket and shopping centre, all within short walking distance. Recommended to friends after our stay last year and they booked and stayed this year.

Although the beach was a little further away than expected, everything else was as described. The villa was clean and well resourced indoors, as was the outdoors with more than enough loungers, chairs and parasols to make for easy and comfortable sunbathing. The villa was close to shops, bars & restaurants. There are several lovely beaches within walking distance and even more within a few minutes drive. Although not needed, we hired a car and being fairly close to the main coast road and motorways meant that we could easily get to places of interest. It's an easy drive to and from Alicante airport although we did get slightly lost right at the end as the directions didn't quite match up - or maybe we just didn't pay attention! In advance of our holiday, the owner, Gary, was very responsive and helpful whenever we had a query, which really put our minds at ease. Only two negatives: 1. The prohibitive cost of heating the pool (£500 for a week!) meant that my 90 year old mother couldn't use it all as it was too cold for such an elderly person. 2. Lots of mosquitoes that we hadn't encountered on previous holidays to the area But overall, we had a wonderful holiday

An absolutely stunning villa, everything you could need was there & more. Fantastic sized pool, with lovely sun beds/BBQ. Communication has been wonderful & we couldn't fault a thing. Everything you need for a relaxing luxurious holiday, the villa was a dream, and the pool to die for. We were a family of 5, grandparents, parents and a 21month old little girl and it ticked all of the boxs. Spacious, clean, lovely pool, good BBQ, washing machine that was used quite a few times, very private as not overlooked. We also used the Taxi that was recommended which was perfect. Would recommend this Villa to anyone and will hopefully be looking to book again in the future.

Amazing villa in a great location. Well maintained and extremely clean. Well equipped. Very spacious pool area and a fantastic barbecue that we used many times ( great prawns from the local supermarket which were great on the barbecue) Gary extremely helpful with all the information we required sent in advance and as he was in the area whilst we were on holiday he popped in to say hello and was great to have a chat with him. Would highly recommend the villa, great value for money. Even after reading reviews were pleasantly surprised how short a walk it is to the beach. Great bar/restaurant at beach called Surfers which would highly recommend. For us this is a must return villa. Thank you Gary and Alison for a fantastic holiday.

VISTA MAR Villa is a credit to Gary and his family, we have been visiting the Villa for the past 3 years, and it still takes our breath away each time. Love the Villa, always clean & tidy when we arrive. You feel like it's a home from home, very welcoming. Modern and Spanish all work together beautifully, you never want to leave. The outside area speaks for itself when you see it absolutely stunning during the day, and tranquil on an evening. Situated in a quite cul-de-sac, walking distance to all amenities, supermarket, Restaurants, Bars, La Zenia Boulevard (well worth a visit if you want to shop, eat and have a little drink), the beautiful beaches only 10mins away. The little extras that you receive on your arrival such as your Welcome Pack is very welcoming especially if you have a late flight and the Supermarket is closed. The Information Pack, that has everything you want to know about the Villa, Area, Attractions, Places to Visit, the Markets, Transport, Taxi's etc, is very informative and helpful. To sum up our stay in one word would be 'Fantastic' everything you could ever want in a Villa and more, added bonus of having everything in walking distance. Throughout all the 3 years of us visiting the Villa, Gary has been superb - very helpful, always available to ask questions etc. Would highly recommend this Villa - we have to a couple of our friends, who have thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and fell in love with the Villa & Area as much as we have. We stayed in this beautiful villa for two weeks and it really was a home from home ( if only we had a pool at home:) !). We absolutely love the location, it really is central to everything, yet in a peaceful cul de sac setting. We didn't need a car. It was a 5 mins walk to a good supermarket The beach is 10/15 mins at most and is a lovely walk; once there, you can walk along the coast for miles. Restaurants less than 10 mins walk away and every meal we had was good. The owners are always available should you have any questions or problems and the villa is maintained to an excellent standard with everything being of a high quality. The pool area is lovely and we enjoyed watching the birds and even had a hedgehog visit us. It was nice to have speakers in the garden and the roof terrace was lovely in the evening.We would definitely love to return and would highly recommend this property to others.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in this fantastic holiday villa. There's 5 of us in our family, 3 children, aged 15, 8 and 5. Everything was ideal for all of us. The villa is clearly very well looked after. It is of 5* quality, with comfy beds, air conditioned bedrooms, blackout blinds, really good shower, a well equipped kitchen...I could go on. We met the cleaners when we first arrived to 'dump our bags' while they continued with their job and we went for a wander. They obviously take pride in their work, every spot cleaned thoroughly. The outside space is also maintained to the same high level. The swimming pool is heaven, loungers of excellent quality, and sun roof for an added bonus. We really liked the area. It is not touristy which we love but at the same time it has everything you could need. The supermarket is large and supplies everything you could need for a self catering stay. It is within 5 minutes walk. There are several beaches all within 10-15 minutes walk (the time includes our 5 year old daughter's walking speed). There is a shopping centre within 10 minutes walk which is fantastic, lots of choice of restaurant, plus shops a plenty and entertainment including water fountains the children can play in. Gary has been brilliant, with excellent communication, recommendations and confirmations of everything. This has been throughout, from booking to date. This included the recommendation for a taxi transfer from the airport (Clive) who was timely and pointed out where places were as we approached the villa. We would highly recommend staying here and will be looking to book again for our next foreign holiday.

We stayed at this beautiful Villa for a week at the end of June. We have stayed in many lovely villas over the years, but this one is outstanding. Gary and Alison have thought of everything. It is beautifully furnished and very well looked after, a real home from home. We were a party of six adults and a baby of six months. (Three generations) Gary and Alison even went out and bought a brand new travel cot for our Grandson before we arrived. The property was spotless and very well maintained. The pool was amazing, as was the outside space with an awning to keep you cool in the heat of the day and a wonderful roof terrace with views of the sea in the distance. Gary provided excellent customer service, he was very prompt in answering any questions I had before booking and kept us fully informed throughout. It took us about 15 minutes to stroll to the beach at Playa Flamenca ( I do not walk very fast) which was lovely and very clean. There is a supermarket about five minutes walk away and the La Zenia shopping centre about a 20 minute stroll which has about 150 shops and restaurants. It even has a C & A. Taxis are plentiful and reasonable. You do not need a car. I celebrated my 70th birthday while we were away and Gary recommended the Lobster Restaurant overlooking the sea.it did not disappoint the meal was delicious and the service was excellent. I would certainly recommend the Villa and Playa Flamenca to anyone, we had an amazing holiday. Thank you Gary and Alison for sharing your lovely home with us.

We arrived slightly early to find Gary and Alison there sorting everything for us. As they were there, we were greeted with Cava and a tour of the villa. It really is a suburb villa with everything you could think of. Roof terrace was great and we even got up early to watch the sunrise on the roof. The location is just fantastic with commercial centre with bars and restaurants, to La Zenia boulevard shopping centre ( well worth a visit). The beach is 15 minute walk and supermarket 5 minute walk. Gary couldn't be more helpful before we arrived with emails and a phone call. We used someone Gary recommended for airport transfer, Ann and Tim, and from this we ended up booking a a sunset boat tour ( private chartered) from Torrevieja with them. Well well well worth it!! Great holiday in a great place and villa....thanks Gary and Alison

If you're looking for a beautiful relaxing holiday which will give you your own space as well as the ability to be amongst it all then look no further. This stunning villa blew us away from the moment we walked through the gates. Only 40mins max from the furthest airport & supermarkets, shopping centres, the beach & bars all within walking distance this really is the perfect place for families of all ages. The private pool & sun terrace are added bonuses &I will only leave you asking when should I book next! Communication with Gary & his Spanish contacts are fantastic, they all couldn't have been more helpful!!

We had a wonderful week at the villa but the only problem was it wasn't long enough so we have booked for two weeks next year! Gary has provided excellent customer service before, during and after our stay. The property is maintained and cleaned to a high standard and the pool and gardens are stunning. The location is great especially if you prefer not to drive as the beach is in walking distance as are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and La Zenia shopping boulevard. Thank you Gary Kelly & Andy

House was great with almoust everything we really need for. Location was great and beach (many), markets, restaurants etc...was walking distance. Nearest restaurant Alfonso´s have very good food and really really kind employees. We have car and location was good also for that, to make some visit also other places near by (Gartagena and Murcia...) Garden and pool area was beautiful and functional. There was couple of thing what we talk about with whole group, dishwasher would be great extra for holiday, then you dont have to take care about dishes :) Also we order one bed for baby. We find travel cot/bed from closet, but that was pretty dirty. There is not any sheets, pillow, blanket or bed for that? To us it is main think that our son have good place to sleep :) And now we have to buy those things what we expected to find from villa. Our group also miss some extra towels. When you are swimming and everything, you have to use towel a lot! But holiday was great and Gary gave us very good infos for everything, thanks!!

This place has every thing a real gem if you want a quite relaxing holiday this is the place for you. But if you want to go out for good food and entertainment you won't have to travel far. I prevered the relaxing and siting by the pool the villa has everything even a sun roof to catch the last of the sun with nice cold beer the villa is very clean and has a homely feel about it. Would have no fear about recommending it to friends or family looking forward to booking next year

We had a wonderful Holiday at the Villa, it had everything anyone could ask for and more,very clean with spacious rooms and great furniture. Outside it had a lovely swimming pool with ample sun beds, a large area for sun bathing and for dining, an added bonus was the sun terrace on the roof with great views.The beach of Playa Flamenca is within easy walking distance also the new Shopping Centre of La Zena Boulavard.Looking forward to booking again next year.

Have just returned from this beautiful villa. When we walked up the path we were amazed when we saw the pool and garden. When we entered the villa we couldn't believe the interior, it was fantastic, the decor and furnishings throughout are top class. Gary has thought of everything that you would want on your holiday in one word perfect. The roof terrace is great if you want a couple of extra hours in the sun in the evening but also lovely for relaxing during the day. We had a fantastic time you could walk nearly everywhere to the beautiful beaches of Playa Flamenca and. la Zena where there is a really good restaurant the Mirador. The shopping Centre La Zena Boulavard, just a short walk away has really good shops, and very nice restaurants we ate there a few, well worth a visit. There are also some good restaurants over at Flamenca Centre I would highly recommend Leonardo's You have the both of 2 worlds with this villa if you are looking for a relaxing holiday you can stay around the villa and have lovely barbecues and and have fun in the pool, or just visit all the restaurants. I would recommend this villa to anyone. We shall visit again, soon I hope. Gary has been very happy to help with any questions that we have asked him.

We arrived at the Villa after 10pm and were instantly blown away by the pool area. I won't give too much away but it's beautiful and we sat out there every evening. Gary has thought of everything in this villa and it's obvious his attention to detail is everywhere. From the music systems by the pool and on the roof top to the countless coat hangers in the wardrobe, it has everything to make your holiday amazing. I took my elderly Dad with me this year and he was able to relax on the covered patio and when he felt more adventurous he'd lie on a comfy sun lounger under a parasol. My 11 year old loved the pool and I felt relaxed knowing that the steady slope to the deep end meant she was safe. My 16 year old loved the pool too especially when he had his iPod playing through the speakers. I have holidayed in Playa Flamenca for over 6 years but have never enjoyed my stay more than this year now I have found this villa. That said, we've booked again for 2016. Thank you for sharing your holiday home with me and my family Gary and we can't wait to be back next year.

We have been staying on and off at this villa for 15 years. In that time it has continually been updated and kept modern. We have gone back repeatedly as it is so lovely, and will no doubt return again! The villa has always been kept clean and well maintained. Great to have Sky TV and a DVD player, we always take films for the children to watch when we want to avoid the midday sun. The bedrooms are spacious and air conned, with plenty of wardrobes and comfy beds. Pool, patio and BBQ area are fantastic. Pool is a great size for our family of 5. Our children loved night time swimming in the pool this year, after a BBQ. Walking distance to Flamenca Beach where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Also walking distance to the local supermarket. Very close to Zenia Boulevard, which is huge new shopping centre. Fantastic restaurants at Villa Martin (we especially like Eduardos, which has live music most nights, and great food) which is only a 10 minute drive away. Great communications with Gary the owner. We have always recommended this villa and will continually do so.

We recently stayed her for a weeks holiday with friends. Accommodating 4 adult and 3 children perfectly. We were unsure of configuration of bedrooms and we required a travel cot and a z-bed. This was all waiting for us on our (very late night) arrival. The villa is beyond sufficiently kitted out, and the little touches of washing up liquid, cloths, and cling film all supplied...which is perfect when self catering as you're (usually) needing to buy all this when you arrive somewhere. Our late Saturday arrival (with toddlers and a baby) meant we were able to ask for milk and water to get us through the morning breakfast as the local supermarket is closed on a Sunday. The larger hypermarket is 5-10 mins walk and is so brilliant I could have spent a while day there (open on Sunday's) The private pool absolutely made our holiday. Locally there is a supermarket, lovely beach, and an epic shopping centre (if you like shopping-take extra euros) Airport pick up was seamless. In summary the villa is beautiful and the roof top solarium is such a brilliant touch. I cannot wait to book to go back next year. I'm only waiting on easy jet to release the flights :)

This villa has got to be best villa we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in quite a few!). Let me explain why - on arrival it was spotless. It was equipped with everything we needed, even down to cling film, Tupperware and clips for food - I always find that it's the little touches that make all the difference. Sometimes it's the bits like cling film that you forget to buy at the shops! I even found a UK adapter in the drawer in the kitchen which was great because I'd forgotten one! The decor is very pleasant and everything was in perfect working order. The villa is nicely laid out with 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The private pool is stunning at night when the lights are on. The picture of the villa at night is currently my screensaver! The stereo system is a nice touch as it plays music outside, and the TV/sky are like home from home. The piece de resistance was the sun terrace up on the roof. It was beautiful. I won't give it away what's up there, but let's say you can stay up there for hours (take sun cream!) and have a lovely afternoon. We spent time up on the roof looking at the stars, and even saw a shooting star one evening. To sum it up, it is a beautiful villa and I'm very happy that we got to stay there. Thank you Gary!
