Er hangt geen sfeer. Alles is netjes, maar persoonlijkheid en ambiance ontbreekt.

We were happy and relaxed in this location. Staff was nice and welcoming.

This is the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. I won't go back to Sri Lanka, but I can at least advice other people to come back here for me. The room was beautiful, spacious and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had. The bathroom was clean. The view was pretty. The building looked magnificent. I loved the long narrow balcony that continued to the other side of the room. The garden looked classic and luxurious. Also, it wasn't very damp, which I did expect in the mountains. Our parking spot for our tuktuk was next to our hotel and beside the garden, which was perfect. We had our vegan dinner from room service and the taste was very good.

My partner did not like the smell they used for the rooms. I think they were mothballs? I didn't mind though, I kind of liked the smell. Also, if you park at the hotel, there is a steep way to the parking spot. So if your breaks don't work, you will fall off the mountain, as there is no gate to protect you...

The hotel view was magnificent and the room was spacious and clean. It was very cold so they provided heater with no additional cost. Bathroom was clean spacious and had hot water. The view from the balcony oversaw the hills and it was so peaceful and beautiful.

We hoped dinner had more Sri Lankan options. We were craving some Sri Lankan specific food such as egg roti, which is hard to find where we live. The chef did cook us rice and curry which was a lunch only option.

The location is super amazing ...i just loved it and facilities were also good , staff was helpful

We stayed at the Wind Castle for two nights in Summit room. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The food also very delicious. I have stayed at dozen of hotels earlier. This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nuwareliya.

Very nice views and very friendly staff with great service. Beds were very good.

Overall, it's a bid of an odd building - a remake of an old castle. Furniture is overused and should be replaced. Or prices should be lowered.
