The shore line was just steps away and being out there looking at that huge body of water was breathtaking! It was cool but refreshing at the same time! The house had plenty of room the beds were comfortable and we all slept great! I had some questions about the area before we arrived and Collin our host replied within the hour with all kinds of resources and we appreciated that so much! We hope to be back again next year!

This is nice home and can be a really nice home again with some TLC. Main areas were clean, however, needs a deep clean. A lot of cosmetic fixes are needed. Kitchen cabinet door missing, crown molding missing. Floor bulging around kitchen sink/dishwasher...i am assuming a leak somewhere. A whole lot of light bulbs need to be replaced. TV in basement is broken...cannot see the screen damage until you turn it on. We did a walk thru as soon as we arrived and took a lot of pictures of what was wrong. Be happy to send to someone. Excellent location and neighborhood.

Great place for our group of 15. Easy access to Lake Michigan, and plenty of space to spread out. A couple of broken items were there when we arrived, but nothing detrimental to our experience.

Our family celebrated Thanksgiving here and had a wonderful time. The views of the lake are stunning. My only reservation is that the place appears to be focused on summer rentals. For example, there are no extra blankets, just the thin ones on the beds. Also while there are two excellent gas grills on the deck one propane tank was empty and the other was one third full. Despite that it worked out great for our family. In our master bedroom the toilet roll holder was missing from the wall. In another bedroom our daughter said the first pull on the paper roll and it broke from the wall. This is the fifth year we have celebrated Thanksgiving at Lake Michigan and this place was one of the best.

This was a great place to host our family and friends who were coming into town for a family wedding. Lots of rooms and great location. It seems like it has some wear and tear so don't think it's brand new but the owner was super attentive to the repairs needed and made sure to respond to my messages quickly. I'd definitely recommend it for a family and friends get together!

Was a great place for 10 adults and 13 children to stay. It was very cold and windy unfortunately but people still walked to the beach and enjoyed it. Lots of space. We didn't use the downstairs living room, as we wanted to be together. But there was plenty of space on the kitchen level. We even fit all 13 at the dining room table by adding some of the bar stools at the table. A few upgrades would definitely help: towel rack off wall on middle level; broken bench on deck by beach, definitely needed more than 2 dishwasher pods with so many people. A couple beds supported on corner books, downstairs bath had rusty vent and could use some paint.

If you are looking for a place close to the beach for a large (considerate of other residents) group, that has adequate interior space in the kitchen and living areas for socializing without feeling crammed in, this is your place. Although our group was made up of 15 adults, this house would be equally as perfect for a large family of various ages (kids would love the bunk beds) or multiple small families. We knew the area and were familiar with surroundings so it was the perfect location for my daughters nearby wedding. Because this area is comprised of many beautiful tightly spaced private homes, it is important to respect your neighbors. Others around us did just that and it added to our enjoyment of what the area had to offer including a daily visit from a family of four deer, tons of monarch butterflies and endless flybys by beautiful shore birds. The lake is two hundred beautiful yards away down a sandy path RIGHT across the street. We know from experience how hard it is to keep carpets clean enough (especially in a beach home) for everyone to appreciate, have enough furniture for everyone without it feeling crowded, maintaining that furniture when some guest just don't care as much as you do. So be realistic and you will build some amazing memories. My only suggestion is to replace the cot lick base for the twin mattress in the upstairs bedroom with a real twin bedframe. It's now narrower than the mattress and adult needs to remain in the middle to prevent falling out.

The place is in a great location and sleeps a lot of people but it was not clean, bare minimum furniture which was old and uncomfortable. Provided only the smallest amount of staples - Toilet paper, paper towels, etc. (although he stated that in his instructions). Deck and porch furniture was falling apart. The place looked like a college apartment. For the price we were Very disappointed

The house was wonderful. Our group of 11 friends found the house to be a lovely getaway for a long weekend. When we checked in we noted a few small issues and the host , Colin, came to address them right away. The layout is great for a large group and having two porches is a nice bonus. We are already making plans to return to this house again.

This was a great spot for a beach vacation--the house was spacious and an easy walk to the beach. We'd stay here again if pets were allowed. The hosts were very responsive--there were a few minor things that would have been nice to have (salt/pepper shakers, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent), but the hosts had more pods delivered when we asked about their location. They also had a new coffee maker delivered when the current one stopped working.

Overall great time! Property very clean and great location. Good space for a large group. Future renters be aware : no shower soap or shampoo is provided and only 2 dishwasher and laundry tabs were supplied.

This home was perfect for our family fall break. It is a close walk to the beach, and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our family. The manager responded quickly to our messages. It was one of our best vacations. The supermarket is a short drive, and Bubbles Ice Cream is an adorable ice cream parlor.

Property was great. Host was very quick with responses. A 2nd refrigerator would have been very helpful with a large group. We agree with others about the towels. Definitely need an upgrade. We all felt like the towels were so old and picked up at the Goodwill from an estate sale. Air conditioner worked great since it was very hot and humid during our stay.

got the extended family together for a little lake trip, this place had plenty of room for us all to stay and was right on the beach. No complaints from us.

Group of 10 men from our church stayed at this beautiful house for a weekend retreat. Great views of Lake Michigan from the very spacious and clean house. Colin was great to work with and I especially appreciated the quick response to questions.

Check in process with Colin was nice and easy. Property is wonderful with lots of rooms. TVs we’re smart TVs so that was also nice. Fantastic place and nice and close to downtown area and casino. Would look forward to renting again in the future. Thanks Colin!

We had a great time at this house. It met all of our expectations - the house was in great shape and perfectly clean when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked - pots/pans, all dishes and glassware, wine and champagne glasses, 2 types of coffee makers, etc. The location is the best feature, about a 2 minute walk from a big beautiful beach. We stayed in the winter and did a couple hikes thru the snowy sand dunes back behind the house. We look forward to returning in the summer and enjoying the beach!

House looks beautiful/brand new from the outside and is steps away from the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, there are many safety, cleanliness and supply issues with this home. First of all, the basement area (that we were depending on the bedrooms to sleep) was freezing, no matter how high the heat was set. The bedroom with the queen bed had a non-functional smoke detector (with wires hanging down) and a giant exposed gaping hole to a crawl space behind the dresser (easily seen, clear it was trying to be hidden). We were hoping the basement would be a fun place for the older kids to hang out but it was cold, unsafe and not comfortable. The furniture was old and inhospitable. The WiFi also barely worked in the basement, making the TV frustratingly unusable. The kitchen also had many issues. The oven was filthy, the refrigerator filter for water was old (change filter light was on) and there were barely any supplies. Almost all of the pots, pans, Tupperware, silverware, spices, sugar, salt/pepper, cooking utensils were old looking and dirty. The house also claims that it’s “well-stocked” and that fact could not be further from the truth. We have stayed in many rental homes and know to bring extra toilet paper, kleenex, dishwasher beads, laundry supplies, paper towels etc. Upon entering the house, we were supplied with a few rolls of (cheap) toilet paper, no Kleenex, and half a roll of paper towels. We also had tried to use the Keurig coffee machine and it didn’t work. We reached out to the owner on our first full day and he promised a deliver of some requested supplies and a new coffee machine. Nothing was ever delivered. We left another message two days later and still never heard back. The bath towel situation was also dismal. All of the towels were old, didn’t match and there were barely any supplied. The same goes for the bedding. It’s almost like everything supplied (and in the house in general) was old and pre-used. Overall, the house felt very dirty. There were spider webs on the light fixtures, black animal (?) hairs on the bedsheets in two of the upstairs beds. The house was very dusty. Underneath the bed on the first floor there was a lot of dust and a broken bottle. The couch in the living room was old and uncomfortable. Save your money and rent another house. Save your money and rent another house.

Thought extra charges were high , list price deceiving

We used all seven bedrooms for our family Christmas gathering and it was perfect for that. Has a large dining area. Disappointed with cleanliness, beds were super nice with nice bedding but towels were well used and kitchen cabinets sort of a disorganized mess. Good effort to decorate and make it look nice, but kinda lacking around the edges. Owner was open to my feedback though and will likely spiff it up. Can’t beat the location!

Couldn’t say anything better about the property and the owners! Check in was seamless, and the home was perfect from the minute we walked into the door. So much space, and had everything we needed!

The photos do not do this property Justice. The house was much larger than the photos had shown. We had more than enough room for 12 adults. It was clean and we had everything we needed for the weekend.

We had a group of 16 that stayed the full week at the home, and we enjoyed it. We had plenty of room to spread out, as well as good places to gather together. The house is comfortable and includes all the amenities you need to have a good time. The beach is especially nice, very large and beautiful sand. Rocks and beach glass are there for the finding as well, but do not take away from the enjoyment of the water or the beach. Parking can be a little tricky depending on how many cars you have, but we fit 5 in place, though that did require some shuffling whenever we wanted to head somewhere. No big deal though. Overall a good time, and we would stay there again.

Quiet area, beautifully decorated home. High quality bedding. Quick professional response from owner. Kitchen lacked a huge pot for boiling water, lacked a huge skillet and had zero oven mitts/hot pads (we bought a pair and left them). Bath tub and one sink were very slow to drain. Floors need a good scrubbing (bottom of everyone’s socks were black by end of day)

Beautiful house just across the street from the beach and within a few miles of the Indians Dunes National and State Parks. We loved our stay and the accessibility to restaurants and city walking paths.

Our family of 17 stayed for 4 nights, the house was perfect for us - plenty of very comfortable beds and space. Kitchen was very well stocked and house was very clean. The owner Colin was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. It was too cold to be at the beach but water was literally across the street. I would highly recommend this house!

I booked the house for a golf and lake trip with 20 people (all grown men), and it lived up to everything we hoped for. The house easily slept all 20 of us, which was a huge plus. The location was fantastic, with a short walk across the street and down a path to the beach. The open kitchen and balcony with a grill was great for a large group hangout as well. Highly recommend!
