Beautiful property right on the water with a boat lift and all. Property was very clean and taken care of by the great owners! Looking forward to coming back next year.

Marnie and Roy are beyond helpful. Any questions or anything we needed they were there for us.
Myself, my husband, daughter and her family spent a week here. It was fantastic! Our 4 year old granddaughter spent time swimming and playing out at the dock. She LOVED it. My husband spent time fishing the lake and had a great time. Thank you Roy for all the tips! The dock in the evening with a glass of wine ......heaven!
We Highly recommend this piece of paradise!

Honestly, I can't think of a single negative from our trip. The property is incredible, the residence was exactly as advertised, if not better, and we had a great trip. Marnie and Roy are incredible people who went out of their way to ensure that our every need was covered, and any chance of something not being stellar was dealt with.
You cannot beat the location right on the lake. The views are something that we would never get in Calgary, and something that is even rare in the Kelowna area. We had no concerns or issues during our trip, and the check-in and out procedures were super simple. Honestly, it was the most laid-back vacation I have had in at least 6 years.
If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet place to kick your feet up and relax, this is your place. Thanks, very much again, to Marnie and Roy for pulling out all the stops for us.

Unit was clean and comfortable. Although there is no stove/oven there is a BBQ which worked very well in its place. There is a wonderful covered patio overlooking the lake. We would have our morning coffee out there. There are a lot of steps down to the dock. The dock also has a covered gazebo and lots of chairs .

The property is just as photographed. The location on the lake is true waterfront and it is very nice to have a dock to park a boat. Owners are great to deal with. Highly recommend!

The peaceful sounds at night and the still mornings are everything this property promised. Marni and Roy were a delight. Never knew they were home. The Suite was immaculate. Location felt remote. The deer were friendly hosts too. We look forward to revisiting.

A Slice of Heaven!
Our family of six stayed at Marnie and Roy’s home from July 26 to August 5th 2020. The accommodations, landscaping and amenities not only met our expectations, they exceeded them! To say the home was immaculate is an understatement! Although there were a number of stairs to access the dock from the home, they were no problem.
Now what to say about Marnie and Roy…... In a nutshell, both are fantastic hosts and fantastic people. So down to earth and very easy to approach. Although they stay at the home (on the second floor), they never intruded on our vacation.
Along with great weather, fantastic hosts, a beautiful home, quick access to the water and local golf courses, our vacation was a 10 out of 10.
During our stay, a cell phone and a pair of sunglasses fell off the dock into 15 feet of water. We thought both were never to be seen again. In came Roy- he voluntarily put on a snorkel mask and found both the cell phone (which survived) and sun glasses. So awesome!
We hope to be back again soon!

Lovely Stay
The suite was very modern and clean. The kitchen is small but serviceable and as others have stated, we did most of our cooking on the BBQ. We stayed for two weeks and Marnie offered to clean our bedsheets and towels after we had been there for a week and Roy even vacuumed the suite once too, which were really appreciated. The dock was large and had a gazebo for some shade when needed. Enjoyed our hosts and our stay.

This was our first visit to Kelowna and the Okanagan and it will definitely not be our last. I'm pretty sure that the "Escape on the Lake" is quite possibly the quintessential Canadian version of Shangri-La!
We were a family of four who spent 6 glorious days enjoying the wondrous natural surroundings with superb accommodations and friendly informative hosts, 20 'minutes from every sort of adventure activity, dining, and winery experiences you could imagine. Everything you imagine a great vacation to be ..it was! And more...because after every day's great adventure we returned home to this little piece of Heaven on the lake to relax on the deck enjoying our wine and barbecue steaks while the sky filled with stars and the moon reflected on the waters below.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in luxurious accommodations treated daily to gorgeous sunsets over the mountain and across the lake...the restful sounds of the waterfall as it trickled it's way through the stunning gardens...the casual private swing on its own deck was a special treat. The beds were very comfortable and views from both bedrooms amazing. The bathrooms were enormous with skylights that allowed natural light to filter in and add to the sense of calm. We chose to do breakfasts and most dinners in the suite and found the small kitchen perfectly set up to meet all our needs. The overwhelming sense of peace and quiet coupled with the most amazing sense of being part of nature ...with deer, eagle, and hummingbird sightings just making it all the more magical!
The owners have truly gone above and beyond to provide such tranquil surroundings and they are ever so friendly and helpful in suggesting activities and places to enjoy great eating experiences. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us Marnie and Roy! We can't wait to return!

One of our most memorable visits to Kelowna (we stayed 4 days in August of 2015)! Whether you are relaxing on the dock or barbecuing up some delicious steaks to enjoy on the on the expansive deck, this is the place where you want to stay. My wife and 2 children enjoyed being on the water and the tranquility that the beautifully landscaped grounds and the various fauna that visited the area (quail, deer, humming birds) provide. The rooms are very bright and welcoming and you can't beat the view of the lake! The water is warm, clear and inviting. We enjoyed jumping off the private dock and spent many hours swimming and doing water activities. Our most enjoyable and best holiday to Kelowna yet!! We will be booking again in the future!
The owners live on the property and are very accommodating and friendly offering tips to local areas of interest or choice restaurants to visit. The property is high end and very clean with each room providing a majestic view of the lake. 5 out of 5 Stars for cleanliness, comfort, service, relaxation and luxury.

This may be one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, and I travel a lot.
The house is immaculate, spotlessly clean, and high-end throughout.
Unlike some other "waterfront" listings in this area, there is no highway or anything between your deck and the water. You're right there. When sitting on the deck, it looks like the water goes right up to the house.
When pulling up to the house and going down the stairs to your door, the view of the lake is stunning.
The deck has a commanding view of the lake. It is west-facing, so you get sun as late as possible into the evening. There's also a terraced patio, with a pleasant little flowing (artificial) waterfall, and a lovely two-seater swinging chair overlooking the lake. The dock has a gazebo on it, so you can sit down there as well. The water is crystal-clear and deep enough to swim. The dock has a ladder to get back up.
The location was great for us. It was a 10 minute drive to a number of great wineries (Arrowleaf, Ex Nihilo, etc.). It was totally silent at night, and during the day the only noise was the occasional boat going by on the lake.
The owners live in the property. I didn't even know they were there 99% of the time, and the other 1%, it was because they were responding (immediately!) to all of my requests. They're both warm, welcoming, friendly hosts.
My only complaint, and it is a very small one, is that the kitchen is a bit small. It has a full size fridge and is reasonably well-equipped with small appliances, cutlery, etc. There is no oven, but there is a small countertop stove. There's a great barbecue on the deck, so we were very happy to just use that for most meals.
I won't even look for other places to stay in and around Kelowna. This is my new go to spot. You'll really regret not trying this place out. Without a doubt, one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed.

We spent 4 days with friends at this Okanagan Lake retreat. Beautiful views, peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed sending time waterside on the dock. The suite was comfortable and met our needs for the duration of our stay. Thanks Marnie for the wonderful "escape". Tom and Heather Huska

My husband and I stayed at this lovely property in July. The owners were superb hosts - greeting us upon our arrival, showing us around the property and fully explaining all the little details, and responding to our questions, requests and comments as they came up. They say the dock is private ... and for sure, it is! The hosts tended to stay away when we used the dock, but they were so friendly and unassuming, they were a delight to share the dock with. The property has everything you will need should you choose this as your next vacation destination.
