It was in a ghastly areaIt was the most expensive stay we had in a monthIt We had a kettle which you had to use in the bathroom,polystyrene cups no cutlery I had to borrow some from a restaurant. There was a table but no crockery,cutlery to use for a mealThere was 44steps to climb to get to the room.No coat hangers to hang clothes,maybe 2.No where to put clothes we just had to leave everything in our cases. I can't understand why you use this place.I think we deserve a refund.It definitely was the worse place we stayed ininamonth

The location is in a light industrial area, with a view over a yard full of boats. The room is not insulated against sound from adjacent rooms Lack of care and attention to detail: the room keypad had not been correctly set when we arrived; the waste bin had not been emptied since the previous occupant; the light bulb in the lamp on one side of the bed (closest to the door) was broken (literally, the glass was separated from the base); no information provided about how to use room facilities (TV, Telus box, fireplace); tap/shower water tepid; no milk for coffee (creamer and flavoured milks are not coffee milk).

We arrived after check in hours and Glenn and Dianna made the self check in process so simple and easy. It was my husband's birthday when we were there and upon request, I asked if something small could be done to surprise him. Glenn and Dianna went above and beyond and had some decorations and a bottle of wine ready. Thank you again! Room was very clean when we arrived and space was as described. Loved the two person tub and wish we stayed longer to enjoy it more. An excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Ucluelet!

One thing that I would recommend is a fan in the room as with the heat from the tub it got quite warm and a breeze would have been nice.

Room was great, clean, well maintained, and fairly recently renovated. Every time I come to Ucluelet I stay at the Lodge because the owners are always friendly and have been very accommodating. Definitely recommend.

It's a little bit of a walk to town, but I can always use the exercise.

The hosts were very kind and accommodating when we needed a second night due to extra time required for Saasin on the ways.at the boat works. The rooms (7 and 8) were well appointed and comfortable.
