Profitez d'une retraite privée au cœur de Stonington Borough derrière une maison de village seigneuriale. Le studio de niveau inférieur est rehaussé par l'art et un coin salle à manger / salon / TV. La chambre au 2e niveau peut accueillir 3 personnes avec un lit queen-size, des lits jumeaux, un bureau / espace de travail, une salle de bains et la climatisation. Vous aurez accès à des sièges en plein air et à un jardin secret présenté lors de la visite des jardins. Les vues sur l'eau au niveau des chambres donnent sur le port de Stonington près de l'entrée de Fishers Island Sound. Des boutiques et des restaurants uniques ajoutent au charme de ce village balnéaire ... à quelques pas. Pour la préparation des repas, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, cafetière, plaque chauffante et grille-pain / grilloir / four sont fournis. TV et Internet inclus. Deux vélos sont disponibles pour bourdonner dans l'arrondissement et au-delà!
La plage DuBois, la New England Science and Sailing Foundation et le Old Lighthouse Museum sont à 5 minutes à pied. 10 minutes en voiture de Mystic Seaport et Aquarium; 20 minutes pour Watch Hill et l'Ocean House. Le studio est disponible de mai à octobre seulement.

We had a wonderful time here in this perfect artist's studio in Stonnington. Everything you could need or want. Incredible view from the bedroom overlooking the bay and Deborah was a fantastic host and had thought of everything. We loved every minute here and will definitely be back.

My partner and I had all that we needed at Deborah's studio space during our stay in Stonington. We were specifically looking for a space that would allow us to work on a quilting project. Fitting all the criteria: in walking distance to the water, plenty of delicious food in the vicinity, and not too far from NYC, we were glad to find this place available! We actually spent the majority of our vacation in the studio and found it to be incredibly comfortable with plenty of seating options and surfaces to work on. We also loved being surrounded by Deborah's paintings. Parking is on street, but never more than a stone's throw away. Overall, we would recommend this place!

Cute cottage with many artistic flares surrounded by historic homes, across the street from the harbor. Close to restaurants and a small general store for needed supplies. Parking is on the street but I had no issues finding spots close to the house even in July. Not for people with mobility issues.Bathroom on 2nd floor with a very narrow and steep staircase.

My husband and I enjoyed a week-long stay in the Artist's Studio and, yes, it is as adorable as the pictures show! Deb, our host, was very warm and welcoming, and we loved being surrounded by her artwork. The location was excellent-- just steps away from a handful of excellent eateries. The borough is a lovely and quiet place to walk and explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely property. The birds, bees, and flowers were all enchanting. The hostess charming and helpful! You are surrounded by her lovely art, the sea and the garden. It was a special restorative visit. Thank you.

Cozy, private studio in scenic New England town.
Enjoyed walking the town and taking in a few restaurants. Also cooked on the gas grill provided and enjoyed cocktail hours in the garden. Enjoyed visits to nearby wineries, beaches and hiking trails. Highlight is the view from Stonington point, especially with a full moon! Lovely accomodations in a lovely spot.

Pretty much perfect
Exactly as pictured in the listing. Clean, comfortable, charming decor, gorgeous garden where you can sit and even grill. As some reviews mention, the building is a cottage just behind the owner's house, but it felt very private. We brought some food from home to heat up and the rest of the time we ate at the wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. Stonington village is beautiful: extremely well-kept, gorgeous architecture, quiet, access to the harbor from many spots.

This is our 2nd stay in the cottage and we'll be back again. We love the cottage, property, and property manager. The location is also the best!

Lovely town, lovely place...
Very tasteful and everything worked well. The only reservation I might have (not a problem for the two of us) is that the stairs are narrow and low (under a sloping roof) and might be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Charming small cottage in scenic, lovely historic area. The cottage is fully equipped for simple meals or take out from any of the great restaurants close by. The cottage is close to shops and restaurants but quiets down very nicely at night.

Deborah is a lovely host, this is our second time visiting Stonington Borough. We find it so relaxing there because you can park your car for the stay! We love the ability to walk for meals or ride a bike to the beach. Everything is as described. Lovely, clean, and relaxing.

This is a fantastic idyllic location
We had the best time here . It was so beautiful and this location was premiere with our own cottage and garden view with french doors. Deborah was so attentive and kind and made sure we enjoyed this amazing place.

Lovely & relaxing stay!
We had a lovely stay in Deborah's cottage. The accommodations were even better when we got there including fresh flowers on the table, incredible artwork (her own), and a manicured garden. And talk about relaxing! We walked to the beach, explored the historic village, ate amazing food and even took a family sailing class at NESS. I wish we were back there right now...

Perfect Getaway
We have children and grandchildren who spend two months in the summer in Stonington, Connecticut. This lovely artist studio converted from an old barn was the perfect solution to being with our kids, but not staying with them. The studio is charming and had everything one would want from comfort to privacy. We enjoy reading outside and the owner's garden was a delight. The location is in walking distance of everything to see and do in Stonington. We definitly will return!

Perfect getaway spot!
My husband and I had a lovely stay at Debs cottage. She was a sweet hostess, greeted us upon arrival, gave us our privacy but was attentive if needed. The cottage is just as pictured on the website and even more charming in person. We also enjoyed a nice bike ride around Stonington on the bikes that came with the rental. Great weekend, we will be back for sure!

Loved the distance to the beach !
Deb was an amazing host to our four night getaway! To start, the studio was exactly as pictured and described. Everything was clean and in order upon our arrival. It was so nice to be able to pack a lunch or NOT pack a lunch because you are so close to the beach. (there is a $10 fee per person, per day). It was great to be able to use the bikes that she had. We parked the car (which was easy) and walked to restaurants at night.
