Dutch / Japanese Connection Styled Condo In Amsterdam Centre
Cet appartement de 475 pieds carrés (44 m²) avec un sol en bois dur et une belle menuiserie, situé au rez-de-chaussée dans un quartier calme à proximité de la gare centrale (à seulement 2 arrêts de bus), est vraiment incroyable par sa décoration artistique et son design surprenant.
Très proche de ce qui a été élu en 2011 et 2012 comme la rue commerçante la plus agréable des Pays-Bas, vous trouverez une variété de commodités comme le marché alimentaire, le cinéma, les restaurants (japonais, indien, français, italien, néerlandais, chinois, etc.), les cafés, les bistrots , toutes sortes de petites boutiques.
À deux minutes à pied, vous aurez l'impression d'être dans un village portuaire néerlandais typique: Bickerseiland et Prinseneiland.

This apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, and very functional. The location was excellent - close to Centraal Station, Ann Frank House, De Poezenboot etc. There was so much to do within walking distance, and transit was very accessible. It was outside of the really touristy area, but close enough that we could get there on foot. The host was very communicative and provided a thorough introduction to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Our host Peter met us for checkin and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. He left us fruit, juice, wine and tulips. The apartment was perfect for two and the location was perfect for walking to most areas of Amsterdam. The immediate neighborhood had restaurants, shopping, and laundry facilities available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment for two for anyone who would like to visit Amsterdam.

The apartment is at a great location, close to the Haarlemmerstraat and Brouwersgracht.
It is very clean, quiet and safe.
Laundromat is around the corner.

My fiance and I had stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it! The home was cosy and clean and even though it is right next to the train line and roads, we did not hear anything the entire stay. The host Peter, is a lovely lovely man who has everything waiting for you if you need it. Could not recommend this stay enough :)

Our stay in Amsterdam was for a month. The apartment and neighborhood were perfect for our needs. We love to walk and roam, and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the neighborhood is so charming and delightful, but out of the crowded touristy section. The apartment has everything we needed except for a washing machine but there is a very efficient laundry right around the corner. Peter is a wonderful host, so responsive to any reasonable request which made our stay very comfortable. What we really appreciated is how much he shared his love of Amsterdam, which enhanced our stay. Thank you so much!

Location was ideal for our stay in Amsterdam. Peter is gracious host and welcomed us to the condo and saw us off on our departure.
The condo offered all essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Peter provided of plenty of local information (maps, transportation and dining) as well as a welcome gift of fresh fruits, fresh flowers and wine.
There is a laundromat just around the corner which was convenient for us.
The only issues for us was the bed which was much firmer than we’re used to, a shelf or rack in the shower would’ve been nice and the thermostat settings in the unit. The weather in Amsterdam during our stay was unusually cold and temperature range we were told to use resulted in the condo being cold in the evening.
That being said we would return to this condo during the Spring or Summer.

I sincerely thank the host for providing a wonderful accommodation with an artistic sense. The host gave us a warm welcome and kindly guided us on how to use the accommodation. We were very touched by his warm consideration and kindness. If I go to Amsterdam next time, I will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the quality of the accommodation and it's location, We were within walking distance of the city centre, and so many other places of interest.

My partner and I stayed for a little under 2 weeks, and it was the perfect live in home base for exploring Amsterdam. The apartment is filled with amazing art and design. Most places are walkable, and if not there are trains/buses/trams nearby. Peter was a very patient and wonderful host, providing transport advice and plenty of maps, as well as wine & fruit on check in :) We hope to come back soon!

Then Central station is so near you get all comfortable connections to museums and major attractions

The place was excellent! Loved the Japanese themed house and it was in a great location. It was very well stocked, with a fantastic coffee machine. Peter was a great host was extremely timely, lovely and generous! Would definitely return for another stay in the future!

We really enjoyed staying in Peter’s lovely apartment. The apartment lived up to the description we had read and more! It is well equipped with everything needed for our week long stay. The street behind the apartment has cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and a laundry service where you can leave your clothes and they come back smelling great and neatly folded. Peter is a great host, communicating with him before our visit was easy and informative, he even met us at the apartment and checked us in. The apartment is easily accessed by public transport and the centre of Amsterdam an ten minute walk away. I highly recommend Peter’s apartment to couples visiting Amsterdam.

Loved our time in this very unique apartment in a great location of Amsterdam. Close to Central Station and many places to eat, yet on a quiet street. Apartment had everything we needed, we especially enjoyed the Espresso machine. We found it to be just as described and Peter was a fantastic host, meeting us upon arrival and explaining how everything operated in the unit. Thank you for sharing your apartment with us!

Peter is the perfect host. Flowers on the table, a bowl of fresh fruit, and a bottle of wine. The kitchen has everything you could need! I would stay again and again. So close to shopping and the train station. We hated to leave we felt like it was home.

This place was perfect for us. It is close to everything that you need. We actually walked to most sites. There is are 2 grocery stores near by. The Centraal Station is a 15 min walk.
We even used the laundromat 3 min away. You can wash your own clothes or drop them off and they will do it for you. Peter was great and went thru everything with us. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay again.

Peter was waiting for us on the day we arrived and came to say goodbye on uor last day. He was super patient and answered all of our questions. The appartment was cosy and had every thing we needed. The location is absolutely amazing!! We could walk every where we needed to and still the location is in a quite and safe neighbourhood. The was a supermarket a minute away from the appartment and so many nice places to eat all around just a few minutes away. We truly recomand it.

Myself and my partner stayed in Peter's beautiful apartment and it had everything we needed to feel at home while staying in Amsterdam!
It acted as an excellent base to explore the city. From Peter's door, there is a bus stop that provides amazing access to transport and is only a few stops from Amsterdam Central.
The apartment is just a stone's throw from Haarlemmerdijk which is a fantastic street filled with an array of shops and eateries and can be the perfect segway into walking towards the city center
Would definitely stay again — and hope to!

As we arrived, we were welcomed by Mr. Peter and given a complete tour of the space. The accommodation had everything that you need, so there’s no need to worry. The design of the place was intricate and and unique. Location was perfect, there are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Close to the center. Would definitely recommend anyone coming to Amsterdam to stay here.

This property is such a unique and beautiful place to stay. Close enough to the centre of Amsterdam to be super convenient, yet still in a quiet location.
Peter is a perfect host, very helpful and informative, he provided a comprehensive tour of the property and told us all about the city and things to do nearby.
The stay was very comfortable and wit allowed us to enjoy our first time in Amsterdam very much. An absolute treasure!

The apartment is artful and beautifully designed. There are gorgeous books, a full kitchen, and a totally unique and handcrafted living space. The location is very convenient, easy walking distance to Amsterdam Centraal but also set in a really nice neighborhood of restaurants, bars and shops and close to the very pretty Westerpark and incredible Fabrique des Lumieres. The host is helpful and gracious, a truly special person. We are just sad we had to leave! Stayed here with a little Chihuahua who had the most fun of all as the neighborhood is filled with small dogs.

We received a very warm welcome even though we arrived later than expected. A thorough explanation of how to operate the amenities followed.
Peter is a host who has considered the guests comfort and convenience. The cupboards were well stocked and a bottle of wine, some fruit and flowers were provided and much appreciated.
The beds were comfortable and there was sufficient storage space for our luggage.
All of the appliances worked and the bathroom was spacious.
We enjoyed the Japanese influence and the careful attention to elements of design.
The apartment felt like a home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Peters place Peter is a great host whose correspondence was excellent. He greeted us at the apt with all the necessary instruction. It was handy to reach everywhere we wanted to go. The unit was comfortable, clean, quiet and equipped with everything we needed. Overall, a great stay!!

Our host, Peter was very helpful and gave us a overview of how things worked in the apartment and places of interest in the area. The apartment was clean and quiet. The apartment is in a good location close to the stores, public transportation and Central Station.

Peter was so attentive and made sure we knew how to use the espresso maker and all of the different hidden things in the kitchen! The Japanese shoji walls close and open easily so you can create a closed off room in the bedroom! Although I would not recommend closing it off in the summer as it can get hot without some air circulation. Overall, I absolutely loved the apartment as well as Peter’s tips for activities around the city!! Perfect apartment for 1 or 2 people. A few blocks from the red light district and only 2 blocks from all the stores, restaurants, and coffeeshops you might want to visit, but still on a very quiet street. I would stay again!!!

A lovely apartment in a splendid location.
We had a wonderful time staying in Peter’s Japanese themed apartment. Everything is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for eating in. The area is full of characterful shops and there are two good supermarkets very close by. The local fishmonger has a top notch selection of lunch items and the whole area has a truly local feel whilst nevertheless being convenient for major sights. We ended up walking everywhere, without taking any public transport, due to both our location and the sheer beauty of Amsterdam’s streets and canals. Peter is such a welcoming ,warm host and we would unhesitatingly rebook.

Amazing Stay
Peter is a wonderful host. He met at the studio, explained everything about the studio and the area. Peter is resourceful about Amsterdam and will direct to the best local attraction. He left wine and a fruit bowl -much appreciated. The location is great. It's close to restaurants and cafes, stores, and walk to many sites and attractions.

Amazing Stay in Amsterdam
This is one of the best Vrbo’s I have stayed in. Peter welcomed us, supplied us with maps and suggestions for his city. The place is immaculate, quiet, close to everything, and well stocked with essentials. A return to Amsterdam means another booking at Peter’s place.
