1- Mal trato en la recepción 2- No funcionaba el aire caliente en el dormitorio. Llamamos y nos trajeron un caloventor porque no tenían quien lo arreglara. Al otro día tampoco lo arreglaron. 3-un día tuvimos que llamar TRES veces para que vinieran a limpiar la habitación y NUNCA vinieron. A la noche me enoje y mandaron a un sr a hacer algo de repaso y las toallas 4- Decepciona porque uno va a un hotel con la idea de que es cinco estrellas y apenas llega a tres

friendly helpful staff .. the room was big the food is good in the bar hotel location in excellent. it is next to touristic attractions. it is near near shopping area .. the restaurant is superb ..

the toilet is not separate from shower. the floor tile in the room is cold in winter, it needs more rugs. the At your service phone button answers after many rings .. the food at the Sorel bar needs an update & more healthier selections.

Rooms are spacious, comfy, suitable for families. Location is excellent.

One day, I had the room on Do Not Disturb DND and went out, they entered the room although it was on DND.

The size of the family room is very good, and it is equipped with most of what the family needs.

The bed was not enough for two people, but for one and a half people, and it was not comfortable enough, the cover was very thick and caused sweating at night even with cooling, and the price was very exaggerated. I paid 6000 euros for 8 nights, I don't think it was a good deal at all, I really regretted it.

Breakfast was not tasty at all. Can not recommend it. Too many additional costs, like good quality internet- 20 euros extra etc. The internet included was very poor. 50% of a staff are annoying and even a bit rude. But another 50 % were very nice and well trained. For example during our check in there was a very nice person who was taking care of parking our car. But the other day during check out the other person was very rude. He did not want to give us a key from our own car and said that we have only 5 min to leave. We paid 60 euros for the night and were leaving before 9am. You supposed to help us with the stuff, but he even did not offer it. The car was standing on the same place for 2 days and we loaded it at the same spot. Then you are traveling with 2 kids and 2 dogs check in/out is very stressful. When you book 5 stars hotel you expect another behavior from the staff.

Very late response on questions asked via booking.com app. Answers were not helpful. Did not answer if gluten free breakfast was an option but asked us to ask kitchen upon arrival. Turned out they ran out of glutten free rolls after 2 days and they did not manage to restock before we left. Not acceptable to have Toast and omelet as only options at 25 eur per meal. One day there was No cleaning even if we were out from 11 an to 4.30 pm. In general they did not fill up with toilet paper and we had to ask for it. I expect immaculate perfektion at this Price level and from Mariott especially!

The location is unbeatable, in the heart of the city, close to all the attractions and amenities one could hope for. Being part of a globally renowned brand, one expects a certain level of quality and service. The hotel did meet these basic expectations but left me longing for a touch of local charm. There's a distinct standardized feel to the place, stripping it of any real authenticity, which I found disappointing. My room felt like it was situated in a basement, lacking the appeal one expects from such a reputed brand. Efforts to change to a street-view room were unsuccessful and added unnecessary hassle to the stay, detracting from the overall experience. While this hotel does provide a conveniently located and reliable stay, it is rather mediocre in the context of personal touch and room quality. I think I'll veer towards more boutique hotels in the future, hoping for a more unique and authentic Amsterdam experience.

loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel & efficiency of the staff. Great bar area to regroup either before heading out or after a day being a tourist. really nice shower with good water pressure and probably the best hair dryer in a hotel I’ve used. I don’t usually stay at chain hotels b/c of the cost when in Europe but this was nice. Loved Amsterdam!!

We definitely paid for the convenience of being in a great area. Almost $700 a night and not high season yet, for a Marriott. also very thin walls. However, still a very nice place for a first time stay in Amsterdam.

Noise from the street (room was changed the next day). Insufficient power sockets in the room (only British type power socket was fitted at the beds) and one near the coffee table.
