Cette maison est livré avec tout cela, mais avec le vrai bette Olde rustique et pas le laiton et verre. Chaque chambre dispose d'une salle de bains privative, des plafonds avec des ventilateurs de plafond, et de radiateurs individuels de paroi voûtée pour votre propre niveau de confort. Accueil vient avec l'enveloppe autour terrasses, des porches d'écran ,, poêle à bois, laveuse, sécheuse, lave-vaisselle, wifi et télévision par câble. Chaque chambre a également des portes coulissantes en verre se ouvrant sur un second niveau du pont surplombant la rivière Hudson. Grande cour pour toutes vos activités de la famille, y compris un foyer pour le feu de camp en soirée. Les animaux domestiques sont ok basées sur approbation préalable. Cette maison a été en cours de rénovation avec un tout nouveau deuxième étage. Voilà nouvelles chambres et salles de bains de haut en bas. le propriétaire souhaite garder le charme d'ADK du style de cape originale et maintenir les taux bas pour les familles à venir profiter les ADKS avec à casser la banque. Vous ne trouverez pas cette maison comme un hôtel ou un sheek lieu moderne pour rester. Le sentir à la maison avec les locataires de retour qui apprécient le style est ce que nous nous efforçons de. Faites comme chez vous tout en visitant l'ADK de. Avec un tout nouveau second niveau, la chambre à coucher ont encore des tapis de taille de la pièce au lieu de tapis mur à mur comme cela a été tout un processus. Nouveau revêtement, fenêtres, planchers de niveau principal, ponts, ajoutées salles de bains, etc sont quelques-uns des projets réalisés avec plus à venir. Venez profiter avec votre famille dans une maison de famille. Les photos sur le site sont exacts.

Arrived and noticed rotten exterior trim around windows and doors. Inside was outdated, and dirty. There was dirty underwear on the floor in the laundry room. Upstairs floor (bedroom area) was unfinished subflooring with area rugs. Beds were either unmade, or slept in previously. There were only four bedrooms, not the five advertised, and only three bathrooms, not 6. The house was easily 40+ years old, with outdated appliances, and furniture. We walked through, but didn't stay. My grandaughter stated that she was not going to stay there, and walked right out, without seeing the entire house. ( 9 years old). The owner was easy to contact, and the cancellation was easy ( once we traveled to where there was cell service). VRBO customer service was excellent, and asisted immediately in getting the cancellation, and refund, done in a timely manner.

We found the kitchen and main dining area had not been cleaned and some beds not made. Toilets had also not been cleaned. The bedrooms and bathrooms in general were quite comfortable.
We did discover the owner does not live in the area and was unaware of the conditions. He was grateful for the information and wants to make it right. He did return some of the cleaning fee since things were not as he had assumed.
Once we dealt with the issues that we could correct, the remainder of our stay was fine. Great location, a bathroom and exterior deck off each bedroom, plenty of sitting area downstairs and a spacious kitchen. Lots of parking.
It was a good base from which we conveniently paddled several lakes in the area.

Property was great as it had bathrooms for each bedroom so we never had to wait to do our morning or evening routine. 3 year old enjoyed running around in the grass and the rest of us enjoyed the view from the deck. Couldn’t get the internet to work but that didn’t bother us.

Great home base for hiking and going up a little farther north to see the full eclipse.
Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms! Place is as advertised - no frills just like the listing says “true rustic olde charm and not the brass and glass.”
We had issues with the heat and woke up to a 52 degree house every day, but the lister told us how to reset the furnace and we made it work for us.

Perfect location when skiing at Gore and neighbours to rafting companies so we are tempted to come back during that season. Casual and relaxing. I needed more instruction on the DVD and VHS system though.

Comfortable home, lots of room, short drive to Gore, very happy with accomodation. Only issue black fly situation in house maybe due to change in temperature and some unexpected warm weather, overall would stay again, Nice communication with host, very considerate, thank you.

The location was just what we were looking for. The house needs some minor repairs. Having five bedrooms each with its own bathroom was great. We got there Friday afternoon and had no problem getting into the house. Our phones all worked which was a very important. We were there on a hunting trip. I had my two sons and one of my grandsons with me. All of us were happy with the house and plan to use it again next year. Didn't get any deer but it was still a great time.

Was a great place for us to gather for a wknd. Big enough so all had a separate space and bathroom. The screened porch was great as one day was a washout!

Had the most fun hanging out on the back porch with everyone. Place was perfect for a group. Everyone had their own bedroom and own bathroom.

We were 2 families with a total amount of 5 kids. Everything was perfect: a number of rooms & bathrooms and other amenities. One tiny disappointing thing: no replacement for burned-out electric bulbs of the right diameter and missing dish soap and dishwasher tablets.

Biggest problem:
- Wifi didn't work for the first 24hrs! there was no cell phone signal either. the house phone is not functioning either. It is like an isolated island with no means to connect with outside. Sometimes the text message come thru.
- We had to drive for a few min to access cell phone signal to contact property manager Kevin.
- Kevin was helpful and did his due diligence. the internet is back on after around 24 hrs.

Great quiet place on the river, big yard outside for kids and pets and plenty of room for large families to sleep and having 6 bathrooms is a bonus. Surprisingly, with venturing north or south there's a lot to do. Farmers market, decent restaurants, Oscars is a must for the bacon as well as the Deli at the mini mart subs, rubs, meats are awesome. Nice hidden gem in the country.

With all the family and lots of bedrooms it was great having a bathroom for each bedroom.
We like any business that likes and let’s us stay with our dog. He is a very large labradoodle and very respectful of other peoples property.
Actually the only problem with this property was a couple of lightbulbs out in a few of the lamps. And that’s wasn’t a problem for us.

For the amount of space you get, number of bathrooms, and proximity to skiing, this place is a great value. Would stay again.

Fell short of expectations
The house layout and rooms were as shown in the pictures. We liked the house, its location, and that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The house itself would rate as a 4 or 5. Unfortunately, other issues would rate it as a 1 or 2. Surface areas in the kitchen and bathrooms were generally clean, but there were cobwebs everywhere, including a large one directly over the main dining table. There was active mice activity, one was seen and food we had in the storage area was eaten. Smoke detectors were missing batteries, and some outlets and switches were missing covers. The towels provided were worn and stained. Lastly, this is the first rental where we had to strip the beds, which seemed odd considering the separate cleaning and linen fees.

Great ski lodge
This house was as we expected from reading the listing and the other reviews (except, as pointed out by other reviews, there are only 5 bedrooms, not 6). It is an old house that is far from fancy, but it is also huge, very comfortable, and perfectly functional. We loved having 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The kitchen was large and well stocked with essentials. And the large living/dining room was perfect to eat and relax in. Best part was location, only 10 minutes to Gore which is a great ski mountain. Overall very good value. We will definitely look at this property again for future ski trips.

North River Get-a-way
This get away was perfect for our family get together. The house is set up for large groups to be together in the dining room-living room area. There is plenty of space for people to get away from the crowd if they want to. Loved that all six bedrooms had private bathrooms. Outside: the Hudson is right across the road. The yard is big for kids and the dog to run around in. If we get together again in this area we definately wouild go back.

Dummy Fun in the ADK
Perfect location, location, location for me and my kids! Close to rafting, zip lining, hiking, swimming, biking. Groceries, bakery, ice cream, and booze are nearby. The outlet malls are a little further.
The house has plenty of space to spread out, and also has several comfortable places for getting together. The kitchen and laundry are good, WiFi is great, cellphone service is not.
I hope to stay again!

Spacious older house on upper Hudson River
The second floor bedrooms and bathrooms are fine, but the rest of the house needs some TLC. It certainly would not comfortably sleep 14, as advertised, and there are 5 bedrooms, not 6.

Comfortable
All the bedroom's had their own bathrooms. Worked out well for the 10 of us. Big kitchen and 2 coffee makers so we could all get a big mug without waiting. Enjoyed the area.

Enough Space for Everyone!
This was perfect for our family! This was a last minute get away and while we weren’t looking for anything fancy, this home provided enough space that we weren’t on top of each other and could break away to do other activities. While you can tell improvements continue, we enjoyed the screened in porch and gorgeous dining room table while others watched movies.

I really love the size of the house and location. It was great for a large group. Definitely a great place for a family getaway. I would recommend it to any big family for a peaceful getaway.

Suggestions
Pro: The house is not close to other houses except a trailer on one side but still not too close so not cramped up.
It’s right across from the Hudson River for a relaxing walk, photo opportunities, unique view and the sound of the current of the water.
It has a bathroom in each of the 5 bedrooms plus one downstairs.
It has a balcony for all bedrooms. It has good WiFi.
Horseshoe driveway and good sized yard out back. Nice screened in porches.
Suggestions: New beds are needed and a little bigger for the adults.
The grills are all rotted and need new.
A lock on the inside of each outside door that is out of children’s reach.
Guests should be supplied with baby gates for the two staircases or notified to bring their own as stairs are steep.
Air conditioning would help for hot summer nights.
The base of the stone hearth should be removed as it’s a tripping hazard and we each hurt our ankles forgetting that it sticks out.
Very nice vacation property that is pleasant and has a great location but just needs a few things.

Enjoy the that each room has its own bathroom, only issue, the room I stayed in, the bed was very noisy, Every time you turn it makes noise, other than that, we had a great time.

Perfect location for our snowboarding trip. Kids enjoyed exploring the house and property. Definitely will stay there again.

We had good time
It was amazing week, house is spacious and have everything what you need. Beds are on the smaller size and not so comfortable, so not everyone would be happy to sleep with other person on full size bed. On the other hand, every room has own bathroom. The tv in living room is very small so it’s hard to have movie night. There were some dvds.

Very Comfortable Cozy Spacious House!
We came to ski at Gore with our large family and it worked out very well. Convenient to ski area and grocery store. Separate bathrooms a plus! (Wish it wasn’t during pandemic would have liked to explore and enjoy nearby restaurants & shops) Kevin is an attentive and pleasant manager. We would rent again!

Nice house but some things to be aware of
Right off the bat I would say for the price, this is a nice home and we had a great time. I've been renting each year up in the Gore area for about 15 years. The house was warm, plenty of room for everyone. The linen package is great because you don't have to worry about towels or sheets. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans as well as other little things for cooking. We skied at Gore and the location was perfect during this COVID time because we went back to the house for lunch each day. Only about 10 minutes from the mountain. Now, there are some things you should be aware of if you are planning to rent this house. The house is old and there isn't any cell service. One of the biggest issues is the WiFi. It's not good at all. It's DSL, it's slow (5 mbps) and it doesn't work all the time. Nothing the owner can do, it's all that is offered but if you are in need of doing remote work for school or business while here, the WiFi will not allow you to do this. I didn't notice this until after but I was charged for an additional guest. I don't know why because the house says it sleeps 14 and we had 11. So check your fees. There was some evidence of critters in some parts of the house. The beds are small and the mattresses could use an upgrade. The hot water was inconsistent while we were there. If you're there with a group, you have to spread the showers out a bit. The numbers for the owner listed on VRBO and at the house do not work. I would make sure you communicate with the owner before and get the correct number just in case. So, some things to be aware of, but overall we had a great time and I would definitely consider renting this house again.

Classic Adirondack Experience!
If you are looking for a true Adirondack treasure, located within driving distance of all activities the region has to offer, this is the place! You can make day trips to Lake George, the High Peaks, virtually anywhere in the park from this home's location. The home is well maintained and has a lodge-like atmosphere, it is large enough for a multi-family vacation, yet cozy enough for two. It is private and has a wonderful view of the Hudson River, especially from the second floor deck. A fire pit located in the large well kept yard together with a screened private porch is a perfect place to end the day. You will not regret giving it a try!

Adirondack Getaway Weekend
This property was perfect to stay in with our friends. We had 10 people in all, 2 families with 6 kids ranging from 7 to 18. This property was perfect for our group to relax in and use for "home base" for our adirondack long weekend. Only 30 min from Lake George but remote enough. We enjoyed all of the porches and the campfire out back. The only comment I have is it should be listed as a 5 bedroom since there were only 5 usuable bedrooms. The multiple bathrooms were key with so many people! Overall a great property and a responsive owner.

Great place to get away
This home had a bathroom in every room! There was plenty of room for everyone. The yard area was large enough for all our cars and room for outside games. We were able to have a campfire most nights and we ate dinner on the back Screened in porch. The kitchen was well equipped. Lake George was a short drive away. If you are looking for a place to get away this is your place!
