We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO’s … but nothing has ever compared to this property. The house was immaculate, well stocked with all linens, sundries, etc. and very well maintained - inside and out! The list of amenities just goes on and on! The beach gear was thorough and included everything one could possibly want to take to the beach. Stephanie was attentive and approachable and quick to offer suggestions/recommendations. We loved this house and will come back over and over!

My family and a few friends had a wonderful stay at the Beach House. It is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Some excellent amenities include a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining table, outdoor shower, and a garage full of beach toys. The owner was very attentive to our needs.

The VRBO description says "Guest room has a queen bed with new posturepedic pillow top mattress" -It is a far cry from the truth. The "Pillow top" is a stained foam piece and the "new mattress" has a huge blood stain.
We didn't inspect the master bedroom's mattress-because we slept in there and were afraid of what we might find.
Filthy trashed wood floors-our children's socks were black
Broken window blinds in the master bath-we were unable to use that bathroom. Anyone could see in the house.
The shower handle in the hall bathroom falls off.
Hot tub cover is torn. We did not use the hot tub.
One light is burned out in the hall bathroom.
The tile in the hall bathroom shower has several cracks.
The wood deck out back needs to be refinished.
The toys in the "garage" were filthy, basketball was flat.
The outdoor lights come on and stay on until 11 pm. They are so bright we could not block the light in the master bedroom where all of us slept.
The slat was coming off under one of the top bunk beds. We did not use that room.
Corners of the wicker chair in the front room was chipped.
The listing says parking for 4 cars. No way!
The listing says outdoor fridge-it is only available to the homeowner.

Seven of us ladies stayed at Stephanie's house and it worked out great. The location is excellent and very close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It has great gathering areas in the backyard and in the living room. It's nice that it's on a dead-end street as it made things very quiet. Stephanie was extremely accommodating and responsive. Great experience.

Nice little beach house, walking distance to beach, driving distance to shops/restaurants and located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Perfect location. Just an FYI (because I didn't realize prior to) the property is very close to train tracks. It wasn't super disturbing but just good to know if it might impact your decision. I probably would stay again even with the train as it didn't run through the night and wasn't super loud. Property owners were very responsive and no issues. Solid A.

Wonderful stay and very responsive owner. The house is a short walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes. All amenities in the house, including a fully stocked kitchen.
The house has large bedrooms and plenty of linens and extra towels. On demand hot water heater.
The hot tub and backyard area is excellent, including an outdoor TV that we enjoyed.
Overall, the house is A+ and we will be back to visit again!

Our family traveled from all over the country to enjoy a reunion at eve beach. This was the best place for that to happen! The garage provided all the toys for the beach and a wagon to carry everything! The house was clean and had plenty of toys for the kids. The adults enjoyed arcade games and the hot tub. The house was perfect for our family - so close to the beach, great kitchen, family room for our kids, lovely back yard and everyone loved the hot tub. The house had all of the amenities we needed and we loved all the beach supplies (the chairs, our kids used the boogie board and wet suit, sand toys and more). We will be back!

I’ve stayed here twice now and hope to keep coming back every year. This is a great house with comfortable beds and nice areas to hang out (two living rooms and a nice backyard with a hot tub). We had a group of 7 adults and we were all very comfortable.

We have only great things to say about this home. The only thing we would have changed would have been to stay longer!
We were a group of 7 family members ranging from 7 to 65+ years, and the house was perfect for everyone.
The proximity to the beach was ideal - close enough to walk there on a whim, but the street ends nearly at the house so there is no through traffic keeping the area quiet. The route to the beach is flat and takes just minutes.
They have all the beach supply and backyard games you could think of - which kept our kids easily entertained. The outdoor shower was super handy, and the hot tub was a bonus after a swim in the ocean.
The house was comfortable and clean. We bought groceries and had the majority of our meals at the house. They had everything we could have needed or wanted.
The host was a pleasure to work with. She was kind, welcoming, and prompt with her responses.
We will definitely be back!

The property is a cute "cottage style" beach house that is very functional and comfortable. Each bedroom has sufficient closet space and comfortable beds. The A/C works very well. It has a nice backyard with table that seats 8 people. It is very well stocked with many beach items (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc). Best part is an owner who is very responsive and interested in providing a great experience.

Cute, well stocked house by the ocean
This is my second time staying at this house, and it is such a great VRBO! I have stayed at several other VRBO's, and this is, by far, the best stocked house. The owner tries to anticipate your needs, and it is so nice that you don't have to go out and buy items that you won't finish using during your stay. She is very proactive and her communication is outstanding. The house is in a great location (2 block walk to the beach and 1/4 mile to downtown Del Mar). Our family had a great vacation!

Perfect Beach Cottage!
What a treat to stay in this fabulous beach cottage in Del Mar! The location is perfect - on a quiet side street, only 3 blocks from the beach. The garage is stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach, including a wagon to carry it all! We enjoyed the quaint village for wonderful restaurants and shopping - a short 15 minute walk or a less than 5 minute drive. Stephanie, the owner, was welcoming and always available for any questions. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your home! Love this place
This place was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Stephanie was awesome with communicating promptly and allowing flexibility. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach and up into town. The house is in a cul-de-sac near the rail but the train is very quiet and noise was never a problem. The house was excellent for kids of all ages with an enclosed backyard with clean turf. We'll definitely be going back!

I stayed here with a small group of 6 adults - this place was perfect for us. The location was great, such a short stroll to the beach. The house had plenty of space for us to hang out. The backyard was spacious and private and we loved the hot tub.

We loved our stay at this cute beach house. It is well-appointed and updated and had so many great extras, such as beach chairs, surfboards, beach wagon, beach umbrellas, etc. Best was the old-time video game featuring Ms. PacMan, Frogger, Galaga, etc. What a blast to introduce our teens to these old games.
The location is PERFECT! It's a quiet residential street and a very short, safe walk to the beach - maybe 5 minutes? We felt like locals. :) Owner Stephanie has great local recommendations, and communication with her was so easy.

Great beachside getaway
We loved Stephanie’s place in Del Mar. The beach is so close that you can hear the waves and smell the salt air from the property! Everything was exactly as described. We enjoyed being just a short walk into town, too. Despite being next to the train tracks, it was surprisingly quiet and we slept well in the comfy bed.
