A propos de ce maisonrental
Breathtaking views at the private direct Beach/ocean front Pineapple Pad 30 nts

This is in a very quiet area of the North Shore, but there is plenty to do nearby. The property itself doesn't have a lot of beach, and access is via a ladder over the seawall, but Mokuleia Beach Park is just a mile or two away if you want to lay out. There are food trucks, groceries, and souvenir type places in both Waialua and Haleiwa which are the two closest towns. If you want to stock up, Wahiawa and Mililani are a 15 minute drive and you can find Walmart, Costco, etc. Everyone here is friendly and we had no troubles getting around and seeing things. The sidewalks do roll up early in the small towns though, so get your shopping done before 6!

Wonderful views, great for families to unwind and reconnect. Kitchenware pots/pans could be updated, and patch ceiling, but i am sure people and weather are a factor for both of these. Want to come back

This house is in the absolute best location. Just perfect! This was our second visit and I already can’t wait for our third. Mahalo!

Everything is as listed, and the location is magic.
The ocean is really in front.
One star less for the interior: there is no dish washer, and the dishes you will find here are really mixed up. there is no 6 identic glasses nor dishes nor wine glasses. The table is not in good condition. The main faucet in the kitschen was broken, and was not fixed during our stay (there was a second one).
We have rented several houses in Hawaii, this one was the least good maintained.
In my world this should be there in a house costing 500 Dollars. It does not cost a lot to have these things fixed.
One star for communication with the property manager because we did not have any.
But oceanfront is great, the location and surroundings beautiful. We enjoyed it very much!

Location was amazing and beautiful!!! We had a short stay but really enjoyed the place. Hope to return in the future!!!

This was by far the best family vacation we have ever had. Pineapple Pad was absolutely perfect had so many amenities and extras. We are so pleased and will definitely be coming back.

We picked this location for the beach and the quiet neighborhood. It did not disappoint! The view was incredible. Exactly what you would expect in Hawaii. The pictures we took were just like postcards. We loved to sit on the beach and watch the local surfers every day. The house fit our needs for me, my husband and my parents. It is a little outdated. There is an old pullout couch by the door that needs to be replaced. There are very few utensils and only one cereal bowl but we made it work. We weren't inside much because it was all about the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Location is everything.

Beautiful location on the beach. However, it was a littler further north in the island then we expected. The home needs some basic upgrades. New bath & beach towels. The window in the primary bathroom did not open, the shower head in the 2nd bath sprayed off to the side. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work. Outside grill was rusted and unusable, patio furniture needed to be painted. Small touches needed such as a laundry basket in rooms & bath soap in bathrooms.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cozy beach side escape.

We had a great time with family but house was not what was shown on pictures. Grass is dead all dirt, plants and trees all over grown. Could not really hang out in back yard. House was cute but really needs some work, could not enjoy the ocean breeze because windows could not open. Our other daughter rented a house 6 doors down so we were able to bbq and hang in their backyard. Loved the location, neighborhood is very dark, we moved in at night and had a really hard time finding the house.
I would come back again if house is updated , and backyard is more usable.

Great location but there are many maintenance items that need to be addressed. Windows is one major issue. Also there is no yard/landscape work being done at all. Should have a sprinkling system installed to help. A new BBQ grill from this century would be nice too. We have been to the North Shore many times over the last 15 years but will not be staying here again.

House in a great North Shore spot. Only 10 min to Haleiwa where there are some stores and lots of food trucks but be aware most trucks close by 5 or 6. House had everything we needed for a great stay. Only complaint - no AC in bedroom, just fans.
Enjoyed watching surfers from front yard. Would definitely stay again. A piece of paradise!

Great place. It is older and a little run down (broken window and some ripped screens) but worth it for location. Had a few problems with flies and broken tv. The property manager was on it immediately and fixed the problems. Really appreciated her responsiveness and loved the cleaning lady. A great experience!

The location of the property was amazing with beautiful views. Too bad you could barely see out the windows. The house is pretty run down and not very clean. Towels were old and worn. Recommend bringing your own. The bathroom toilet was dirty with urine stains on outside of bowl. There were only 4 rolls of toilet paper for a home that is supposed to accommodate 6 people. Kitchen table had caked on dirt and grime. Expected a much cleaner home for the cleaning deposit charge. The stove top is a fire hazard as you can not tell if it is on or off and the temperature controls are not working. The listed property and house pictures are years old and do not reflect what you are actually getting.

Property is in a great location but showing some wear. Communication with the host wasn’t easy. A leak in one of the showers caused the two bathroom to be more like one and a half.

The private, wonderful beach is worth the rental fee for this house. The house is another story. The listing "oversells" the house a little bit. In a nutshell, it appears to me the owners of this house do not use this house. Thus, most things in the house are cheap. Damaged furniture, bad mattresses, crappy lawn furniture, only 1 AC window unit far from the 2 bedrooms.
From the listing, it appears there are 3 bedrooms. There are not. One is a sofa bed in the living room. The lone AC unit is completely inadequate to cool the house, so one is dependent on the night-time island breeze, which is not so great at 2am when the house is still hot.
When we got there, the windows were so dirty we could hardly see out them. I went and cleaned the outside, which did improve the view, but then I realized the windows are actually damaged from the salt air. The wonderful view is filtered through the haze of the damaged, single-pane, plastic windows. This needs to be fixed.
Plus, don't believe the photos of this house. The grass is not green - it's mainly sand, crabgrass and detritus from the plants and trees. There are no paddle boards. There is some snorkeling gear, but since the house is actually a duplex, you are sharing with another family. If they get the unbroken equipment first, well, you don't have access to it until they leave.
So, again, in summary, the beach is magnificent with nightly burrowing crabs, turtles, privacy and good snorkeling. The house is not as advertised.

I liked the location of the property. But there were several things that should be addressed before renting it out again in my opinion. It was quite warm in the bedrooms, there was no air condition, the only air conditioner was in the walkway as you enter the home. The one air conditioner was old and it smelled of mold. But the adjacent home had air condition in every bedroom . When we opened the drawers several roaches came out. All appliances worked well except the toaster oven which didn’t really work. The beds were comfortable and clean. The master bedroom sink stopper was totally filthy with dirt and grime. The beach right outside the property was not as Picture perfect as portrayed. Late in the afternoon the tide would come in and would force us to abandon the beach. Also several times while we were enjoying the morning sun neighbors from across the street would cut through the property to gain access to the beach. Overall I would rate our experience a three out of five and I wouldn’t rent this property again in the future.

Nice location, but the house had one small airconditioner at the entrance on the oposite side of the bedrooms. There were cockroaches in the kitched, kitchen cabinets and living area. Everything was old, not very clean, and in need of updates. Most windows did not stay open without brace bars. A 3 rating may be a bit generous.

Location was quiet and private with the beach all to yourselves.

The host was not the best at getting back to me, but nice property on the beach!

You can’t get any closer to the water! Just amazing to hear the surf day and night! Lots of whale and turtle sightings every day right from the backyard! Lots of surfers to watch and the snorkeling is just amazing! We had a turtle swimming right next to us while we were boogie boarding too!

We found and chose the Pineapple Pad house and property for the location of being away from crowds, it was perfect! After visiting Honolulu, the whole family was glad to get back to the quiet neighborhood. Our 19 year old son bought a long board and could skate from the house to the nearby town-only having to walk one section which was a little busier and not a good section for his longboard. Enjoyed being close to hike the State Park to visit the Albatross nesting area. If we ever visit again, we will be back to stay at the Pineapple Pad!

Just what we needed! Nice and spacious. Saw whales everyday. Saw surfers everyday. It was great! Just wish there was more parking.

The location was excellent but there were a few flaws. Its right on a beautiful white sand beach and we even saw a few whales on our first day!
1 - the large couch is falling apart and the 2nd pineapple couch is very dirty
2 - lots of windows to make the view worth while, except they were very dirty
3 - both shower curtains need to be updated or moved down. Their position allowed water to escape no matter what you did.
4 - outside grounds could use some love. Lots of overgrown weeds/long grass.
5 - some outlets were very loose and could be updated
6 - there were 6 adults in the house and we were left 6 bath towels.
7 - outdated kitchen with a toaster oven that barely works.
Outside of the things listed above, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Its in the perfect location and out of the hustle and bustle of the larger cities. Beautiful beach with a beautiful view.
Once this property gets a little TLC, it'll be beautiful on the inside and out!

The property is big and location is nice. Love the hammock and scenery in the backyard and proximity to the beach. Ammenities are good and sufficient. However, the furniture, especially the sofas are very old and need to be replaced. If the house gets a renovation it will be very nice.

The Pineapple Pad is a on a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach in Mokuleia. We enjoyed sunrises, surfers and chickens from the hammocks in the yard. It was a great open space for our family of 5. This house is in a great location, 15 minute drive to the beach at Waimea Bay and yummy food trucks in Haleiwa. The biggest bummer was that the washer/dryer was broken during our stay. A stash of extra blankets and towels would’ve made it even better.

The location is hard to beat! It’s near all the best parts of north shore and in a small town. I am glad we did not stay in busy Waikiki. And this house is right on the beach with white sand and quiet location. The place looks way better in person and was very clean and plenty big for 2 couples. The only downside is the air conditioning. The house was very hot and hard to get cool. They had fans in all the rooms, which was great but it was hot each night. The place has an air conditioning unit but it’s only in the entryway. We still slept, thanks to the fans but it was still rather hot and sticky at night. It’s not a huge issue and we were in Hawaii when it was rather humid. But other than that the place was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend going on a walk in the morning on the beach and the roads near by as the view is of the luscious mountains and the turquoise ocean.

After rescheduling 3 times (thanks, covid), we finally spent 10 magical days in this house. The owners were beyond kind & accommodating with our changing plans. The house itself is perfect. Very homey and comfortable. There is an AC in the living room, but the tradewinds were enough for us. The beach was incredible- it was like having a private beach throughout our stay. Definitely head down the beach about if you have littles for a perfect sandy swimming spot. We saw lots of fish, turtles and even a seal. My kids learned to snorkel in the “back yard.” The location is perfect for exploring the North Shore but still having peace & serenity. There’s lot of sand toys, boards (we added a couple more to the stash), chairs and even an umbrella. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. It was very hard to leave this house. Thank you so much for making our long awaited Hawaiian vacation perfect.

This house is the only place you need to consider staying in Oahu. Private and beautiful surroundings on the north shore. Residential area with a virtually private beach. Swimming and snorkeling with sea turtles right in front of the house. Short walk in either direction to a beautiful sand field swimming area without many big waves for a little ones or just to relax. seals sunbathing on the beach just down the way. Horseback riding just around the corner. State Park with hiking trails less than a mile away. Convenient to other small city areas around Waialua and North Shore beaches. The botanical gardens in Wialea Valley down the road is phenomenal. This is not the fanciest house. If you’re looking for high high end, exclusive luxury five-star hotel… This is not your place. But if you want a perfectly equipped comfortable spacious wonderful home with a fantastic kitchen and living area overlooking the beach literally steps away from swimming and sunbathing with your family. This is the spot. And you absolutely cannot beat the price. We will be back!!

Really great location for a time away from activity. If you want a resort - you wont like this. If you want to feel like part of the Island community and a modest home in a great location this is for you. Reasonable drive to most locations and beaches to visit. Loved the quiet vibe at the home. Could use a little updating and supplies ie, eating utensils, dishes etc. but still a really great stay. It was very clean when we arrived. We did have some little unwanted island visitors. My son lives on the island and said insects are typical for a lot of places so we dealt with it. Was a wonderful time with our kids. Mahalo -

Great secluded beach. Living area was very spacious with lots of windows. Beautiful neighborhood for walking or biking. Friendly neighbors. We loved our stay.

This house was exactually as advertised. It is semi rural and the closest grocery store is 15 min away but that leads to 180 degrees of pure ocean. The house is spacious and clean. It had oceanfront access to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
